I enjoyed the area and history behind it. Just be forewarned however there are loads of panhandlers who want you to give them money. Normally I just ignore them and move forward but these ones will follow you. I complained to the park rangers who are well aware of the issue they say it s their number one complaint but unfortunately can t do so much about it as long as it s not actually on park grounds and of course local police won t run to it if it s not life or death. Other than all that just enjoy the peacefulness and messages you will see at the site.

An outright amazing experience. Every person of every race living in the United States should visit. The significance of Dr.King is and will be forever present. The events are well displayed and offer so much insight to a civil Rights movement that is still being engaged upon. Thank you to the King family for this wonderful gift. It's free to get in so no excuse is necessary.

Free parking, free entrance to both the museum & the church he preached in. There are a few short video & audio presentations throughout both. Overall you can easily spend 2+ hours reading, watching, and listening to all of the information they have here. I've been here several times over the years, and it's still enjoyable & interesting to take family & friends here when they come to Atlanta. There's also an awesome park outside, if your kids need to run around like mine did.

It's a short walk to his home, though, just a heads up: you have to pay to tour inside his home.

Humbling, inspiring, a must-visit US National Monument. Martin Luther King Jrs' memorial casket is laid over a beautifully blue tiled fountain. He and His Wife last across an eternally lit flame that reminds me that the fight for Justice is never over.

An awesome remembrance of a Great Leader & Man of God. It was a great experience to share with my son. For it deeply touched my heart as we visited his home and the King Monument, the videos and literature moved my spirit. Thanks Dr. King for ALL you've done for paving the way for me and my family. Never Forgotten

There, there is in the suburbs.
It is a good atmosphere to take a walk, because it is a residential area, it seems that there are not too many stores.

Such a wonderful and liberating experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and passionate about their duties to educate everyone about Dr. King, his legacy, and the barriers he overcame during his era. We didn't get an opportunity to visit all of the exhibits, but my family will definitely go back again. Also, do not be surprised when you visit the house, there is no flash photography or cell phone usage allowed for copyright purposes and original decor.

One of the best stops I've ever made in Atlanta. The feeling you get when you walk into Ebenezer is something I've never felt before. To hear Dr Martin Luther King preaching over the speaks was so moving. The grounds around the church were beautiful. His burial site will leave you speechless. For a moment the world is at peace and everything is ok.

A moving and empowering experience everyone should have. It's free too. Tour the house where MLK grew up and visit the church where generations of Kings preached. Here recordings of his speeches, walk through history with videos, displays and interactive exhibits. Walk of fame, Coretta's story, their grave markers and eternal flame and more all in this complex that rounds out the picture of MLK and his incredible non violent leadership in civil rights movement. Not just for the past but for our future!

This place is beautiful and very touching. It's a great compliment to go to Memphis Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel and then come here - that what we did. You'll find MLK and his wife's burial site here, and there is also the king center where you go to get tickets for the house tour. The house tour was chilling - being able to walk through and see the EXACT place the King family lived their lives was breath taking. Across the street you'll find the historic Ebenezer church. If you don't know what that is, look it up now. The church reminded me so much of my own home church and just one of those down home African American church feels to it. It smelled and feeled just like my own churches from home. Beautiful experience. I would advice going early in the morning if you're there during the popular summer crowds - for an introvert like me it was a lot more relaxed unless you don't mind a large crowd of people. If you're lucky you'll hear a young gentleman who does a MLK imitation speech and he sounds so much like him. Again, the place is amazing and I think it's a must for anyone to visit.

Informative but the buildings were all closed due to covid. Seems as if Google would have mentioned that in there operating hours but was not mentioned. Only thing we could do was walk to the house, reflecting fountain and church.
