The neighborhood is "up and coming". Parking is 10 per two hours in the adjacent lot and street parking is available. Everything is pretty much in walking distance. Tours were sold out at 2pm when we got in but you can walk around to see the graves and the historical church.

I was on vacation in Atlanta for a week. My partner and I decided to go into the city and explore. We went to this great plane, it was serreal that this is history. A great man was present there and I got to see it all with my own eyes. There is so much to see and discover, you could be there for a good few hours just looking and reading everything. The atmosphere was calm and it was a great plane to visit. Its all free and they have a little gift shop where you can buy little things. The tour guide did a great job, the information he shared was really good. Visit there if you can.

I would recommend anyone, know matter what your race preference to tour the MLK historical site it has so much history about where Dr King was born, his life growing up in you may not know this, sweet Auburn as they it . So much about Dr King and what he done for civil right movement.

I had the best time introducing Dr. King to my daughter and even tho it was raining we had he best time and our tour guide was so informational and he even included the children and ask them questions and explained everything so clear a child could understand. We have been trying to visit the house for a year and this was a special day for us. Thank you to all the staff, exspecially to the rangers who sworn this little lady in . SHE IS A JR. RANGER NOW IM SO PROUD OF HER.

A Must See! One of the park security monitors told us that Dr. King's youngest daughter is now CEO. She has added BEAUTIFUL flower gardens to surround the eternal flame. The reflective pool is spectacular and underlies and surrounds the dual tomb. The Wall photos are perfectly selected moments in time. The Mall and the International Walk of Fame hold the shoe prints of nicely notable personalities who lived to support the life, liberty, happiness, and fairness for all humankind. There is such a peace that is felt in the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Enjoy!

A very moving exhibit. We only got to go around the visitors center. Honestly, there wasn't enough time and hope to make a return. The actions of Dr. King and those who followed him continue to inspire to this day. It's free and a great way to pass all knowledge and reinforce the principles of equality.
