I have been trying for nearly a month, to get a prescription refill, from Dr. Sinning (GYN). The original prescription she gave me, was to be taken every day, for the first week, then cut back to twice a week. However, it s now been three weeks. I would have to start over at this point, which I intend to do at KDMC. I have called, left messages and I ve even had my pharmacy try to fax a refill in. The only thing I have not tried, is a courier pigeon. I understand this is, most likely, not entirely her fault, as she has staff to handle this, but if they can t handle this simple task, would you REALLY trust them with your health? If you want genuine help, for any issue, I suggest you go far away from Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Been in the hospital for 5 days finally got an answer. Dr subik came in with a room full of students that I did not consent to an completely offended me.Asked me multiple times about drugs and alcohol. I under stand that new years was a week ago,but I don't drink and I dont take any drugs. I have higher priorities than that. When I asked for a transfer to a facility closer to home and that I would be more comfortable and not disrespected the nurse acted like she could care less and told me I'd have to pay an ambulance fee up front if I want to be transferred. Gladly to get away from this place.

The billing department of Marshall Health is unbelievably rude. I have been dealing with them for several months now and it does not matter who I speak with they are very unhelpful and unfriendly. I just tried to pay a bill over the phone and they told me I had a higher balance than the bill I received in the mail, when I informed her that was not the balance I had in my hand then she rudely asked so what is it you want to do? I want to pay the bill that I received for the amount I received. If you do not enjoy customer service, please find a different job.

I had a 3:20 appointment. It is now 4:55 and I am still in the lobby, sitting (very uncomfortably) in a back brace waiting to see a doctor. At 4:50 I asked when I might expect to see the doctor. The response... "I don't know. There are still a lot of people ahead of you." Hmmm. You had no problem calling me up and getting my co-pay within 15 minutes of arriving.

If an office is going to be this far behind, would it be too much to ask that they reach out, tell people and reschedule where possible? Poorly managed!

Yep, 5:55 and still waiting.....

I visited Marshall Health's walk-in orthopedic clinic in early January because I thought it would be affordable. It's not. I was charged $200 for a 3 minute office visit. Seriously, the doctor who saw me wasn't in the room more than 3 or 4 minutes. He walked in, looked at my foot/ankle for 2 minutes, and told me what I already knew from Google - to rest it. I was told if it didn't get better to come back in 2 weeks and they'd stabalize it with a boot. Of course it didn't get better, I had already been resting it for 4 weeks (which I told the dr) when I went in for the appointment. After that visit I couldn't afford to go back for a second appointment or anywhere because I'd been charged $200 for nothing so 3 months later my foot/ankle's still not healed. I could understand that cost if they had spent 30 minutes working with me or had gone to the trouble of running scans but not for a 3 minutes office visit. No one is worth $66/minute. To add insult to injury, they waited 3 months to send the bill in early April...in the midst of a pandemic...so I can't afford to pay the $200 now but I could have if they'd sent it 2 weeks after my appointment. If you like being overcharged and your symptoms dismissed this is the place for you - otherwise I suggest going elsewhere.

Had oral surgery in JUNE 2020, then went for follow-up for a related issue a couple of weeks later.
(Just know I LOVE Dr Khanna and the techs/hygienists in the back. They are wonderful.)
I paid upfront with a debit card.
I ended up with an almost $400 overpayment. (I'm private pay, not insurance related).
I have called many, many times and spoken with "Brandi" in Dr Khanna's office to see when I can expect a refund.
Sooo many excuses.."I'll put you on "the list""
"We use an outside company and they are behind"
"Well, due to COVID they are understaffed".
Second "I'll put you on the list" (SEVERAL months after that first excuse)
Nov 2020, I called again and was told "yes you're on "The List" and it will be refunded to your card". I no longer have that specific card since to my bank was bought out and changed names. I offer to give her new info and was immediately told "No If it's not the same one you paid with, they won't refund a different one. But I'll tell them to just cut a check to you"
Hmmm, that was November 2020
Dec.
Jan.
Feb.
Now March.
I am disabled and honestly have to choose between my meds, groceries and utilities.
A $400 refund would buy my medicine for a month.
I am so frustrated.

I have called for the last two weeks to get my brother an appointment. Been on hold for over an hour daily. Left many messages when someone does answer and no one calls me back. This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. How are ya ll still open. Maybe the government needs to look into this.
