Excellent service, They took a little bit to answer my call, but the person who attended me helped me with everything I needed, Mrs. Flor attended me in Spanish and was very kind, I found a dentist for my son very close to my home, thank you very much Mcna Dental
I had to wait a bit but it was worth the wait speaking with Angie who was absolutely wonderful! She was professional and courteous and help me solve my issues.
Simply put I called the company for some help with finding a dentist. Instead of being helped on the phone, I was told to look at the website and find a list. I followed the directions and the website contained a lot of incorrect information. They had places that didn't accept them anymore... One of the places I called stated they told MCNA to remove their office 2 years ago and they still didn't comply.
So the sum total of my experience was this company, or at least the people who answers the phone are useless. Don't waste your time for the phone call.

I wish there was an option for zero stars. They literally don't answer their phones. I've sat on hold with the same recording repeating over and over for a week. I've tried member services, every number I've found, even the H.Q., and they do not answer. Are they even open? Are they an actual company?
I am my cousin's Medical Power of Attorney. I've been assisting her with medical issues for years. This is the first time a medical provider or insurance company has refused to speak to me. They do not care that I can provide documentation proving that I am her medical power of attorney,. They do not even care whether or not I am her MPOA. They will only speak to the "responsible party". What does that mean? Responsible for what? I'm assuming they mean finances, because what else could it be? But the person tells me verbally that it will not make me financially liable. I'm supposed to take her word for it.
What makes this all so unusual is that all I need are the names of in-network providers. That's all. That's not private or personal information, other than giving the zip or city of residence.
If my cousin will call up and verify to them, not simply that she is giving permission for them to speak to me, but verify that I am the "responsible party", then they will document that and will be willing to speak with me in the future.
I would NEVER recommend this insurance to ANYONE. Almost impossible to reach someone. We were told the co-pay was about 80%. Dentist was TERRIBLE. I would've been better off if I had used a coupon out of those Value Packs they send you.
I have submitted pre-auths that came back denied. I needed help and JASMINE , the rep. !!!! was so nice and patient with me I had alot of questions regarding patients for Services ! She is so nice over the phone.
Today I needed to seek a dentist associated with MCNA dental . A woman named Dorian Rodriguez answered the call and I must say she was one of the most helpful people I ever spoke to on the phone anywhere. She has a pleasant voice and I cant say how happy she made me being herself. She went out of her way to help me find a local dentist. She was willing and patiently giving me multiple names of dental practices.
This is not my first time calling MCNA Dental but it was by far the best. I felt important and well respected. Not once did she make me feel like I was taking up her time. Thank you Ms. Dorian for such a great experience. I feel privileged having such a wonderful helpful attitude . I know this is not a great big deal for others but to me it made my day better having her help me. Definitely a company asset from my view
I can't get ahold of them. I'm on constant hold listening to an info message on cavities. It's driving me crazy. I will discontinue use for that alone. It's wrong to brainwash people about flouride too.
