The hotel was nice, big the pool was good and the large gym, but we had a terrible experience with parking. We had to park 3 blocks away after they told us that their parking lot was to full. We had to walk to the hotel and it was freezing outside. I would stay there again because of the great location and amenities but not because of parking.

This hotel is attached to the Pennsylvania convention center. It is a nice hotel, with easy access to a wide variety of shopping and eating too. The rooms are nice, but room rates can be quite expensive. The bar in good, but I prefer Bank and Bourbon across the street, or better yet hoof it to a local Irish pub.

A very clean and convenient hotel. This was one of very few options for legal adults under the age of 21 to get a room in center city. The front desk was polite and helpful as well as the hotel being in a great location and offered many amenities. A little spendy however it was booked the night of due to an inconvenience by a different hotel chain.

The hotel is nice on the 1st floor. They have a FedEX postage, Starbucks, and a nice restaurant. However, the rooms are a bit dated. The beds are too hard, the shower had low water pressure, and the tub should either be replaced, or have a better patch up job, also the fan/vent in the batheroom did not work. The hotel was also cold if you were not in your room, and if you are visiting like I did in late fall or even winter, that can be a downside.

Do not stay at this hotel. Try staying at other hotels in the area if you can to avoid this hotel. The staff were just absolutely rude, bad attitude, cleaning staff took forever to clean rooms i.e. on their phones. Spoke with one of their managers about the issue and told me because I already checked out that my concerns did not matter. Just now had to bring my issues to corporate. Again avoid this hotel at all costs.

Not quite the 4 star experience if you ask me. Sure the amenities are four star, however there's just too many people in a very open lobby. Also, rooms are a bit dated, but they were clean.

Rooms were comfortable and the staff were pretty nice.. No where does it mention that parking is not included with your stay so be prepared to spend an additional 56$ parking fee. Our room was supposed to be ready by 4pm but they were not ready and wasnt ready until 730pm which was a huge disappointment!

Me and my husband were married back in October 2019. This is a late reply. The staff is amazing!!! Alyson was our wedding coordinator and she was so sweet and patient with our request for our wedding. Our entire experience with them was phenomenal!!!

The alarm went off a total of 3 times! Once at 2pm, 4pm and 10pm! I understand emergencies can happen with the elevator and you have to investigate to make sure everything is ok, but a hotel elevator should not have those sort of problems. Hundreds of people get on and off the elevator it should be equipped to handle that sort of traffic. The hotel is very nice, great location and the staff was awesome. But after a long day you want to have a comfortable sleep, not get awakened by a loud alarm that comes on because the elevator is angry! Also, there should be more security around to stop the homeless people from coming into the building.

To start, the staff was very friendly. Mary at front desk was a big help in getting us ready to tour .
This particular Marriott is on historical register, and was at one time the annex for City Hall.
The building is well located for quick travel. Rooms are small but clean and well kept. Views from this building can be very limiting . Prepare for parking fees when you travel to Philly. Parking is about $50.00 a day everywhere. The Marriott contracts parking so just Valet and take the bus for touring. A bus pass on Plash is $5.00 for whole day of riding- seniors free. Stops every 15 min and goes to all tourist stops.

Our stay was okay. For the cost, I expected the rooms to be more stylish and less stuck in the past. We were frustrated to be woken up after midnight by a staff member who called the wrong number and did not apologize. However, the location is amazing, and it is very convenient for conference goers.

Posting in the middle of my stay. I am a Marriott Gold member and stay at a lot of Marriott properties. This property is average at best. It is an older property and shows some of its wear. Halls were a little dirty and had an older musty odor. Rooms are decent but outdated. Beds are comfy. Concierge lounge was typical but service not quite as good as other Marriott properties I have stayed at. Fitness center was very good. Checked in late and had to wait about 15 minutes despite online checkin. Thier system was down so my electronic key was not functional.

Overall this is not a bad hotel, just not as good as other marriott hotels in major cities.

Convenient location, connects to the Philadelphia Convention Center seamlessly, next to the Reading Market (for great food). Very clean and the staff is really helpful. I lost my bag here, and it was in the lost and found, so I was so glad.

The bed sheets were a bit small, it was difficult to share with my partner (it was 4 person room). Other than that the elevators were quick, the rooms were clean, the bathroom was nice and the lobby was lovely. Also you can walk to the convention center without walking outside which was perfect.
