Hotel is in an excellent location within Philadelphia. Extremely close (and connected) to the Convention Center and across the street from the Reading Terminal Market. Extremely friendly staff, be sure to ask at the front desk if you need anything before buying (ex. bottles of water). I've stayed in both the Headhouse Tower and the main building and the rooms in Headhouse are significantly larger, except the rooms on the top floor of the tower (9th) have these odd round windows that makes it feel like you are on a ship.

Comfortable and clean room. However they don't have free WiFi. I'm shocked that any business now a days, especially a hotel doesn't offer free WiFi these days. Breakfast was delicious in the restaurant down stairs. Convenient little gift shop that has numerous travel items that may have been forgotten at home. All in all, great hotel with friendly staff. Just needs free WiFi.

This hotel is dangerous! Security is a problem! We had all of our electronics taken from inside our locked room! Fortunately it was in the afternoon while we were gone but if someone can get into your roo, God only knows .what could happen in the middle of the night. it s clearly a problem and Marriott didn t do anything to compensate us. They said they aren t responsible for things left in the rooms. Really?!

great location, unfortunately the rooms that i've seen are little out-dated and one of the front desk agents were extremely rude to me when i called a few days later with a question about the payment, other than that it was fine

Give yourself plenty of time getting your car from valet. Called as instructed by the ticket to call 45 min ahead of time. It took over an hour and a half to get our car. When it finally got there, the bumper was hanging off and dents all down the side of the car. Valet was denying the dents where there fault. Claim filed so Hopefully there insurance company treats us better than Aaron the valet manager. Hotel manager was helpful and accommodating. Bar staff was great during our! Breakfast also very good. Rooms were nice and clean, however the double beds are Pretty small.

Just a short walk to the Reading Terminal Market, the Convention Center, City Hall, the Masonic Temple, and other points of intetest, The Marriott places you at a central location in the downtown area. I recently stayed in March 2019 for a get away weekend and with a decent weekend rate. Parking is available, but expensive. There is a restaurant and bar, a gift shop as well as a Starbucks with an entrance from the lobby. There is a pool on the 7th floor and Exercise Room on 2nd floor. It was a pleasant experience.

Centrally located hotel, the sights are within walking distance. The hotel is a long way and the signage is much in need of improvement. Room was big and OK. The Radau in the pool was annoying, why must the Americans be so loud?
The valet parking had reached its maximum performance and waited half an hour for the car.

The hotel was nothing special, however there was nothing negative about our stay there. The staff was very polite and helpful. My BIGGEST complaint is their address. They need to put a GPS address so as a costumer I know to go to Filbert Street and not Market Street. The valet staff even commented that they hear that all day long. Not being familiar with the city streets I drove around for a long time before I could figure out how to get tot the REAL entrance with all of the one way streets.

This is the worst service I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. They have insufficient restaurant capacity for breakfast and make you wait for 20 minutes. To get a drink at the bar you need to wait up to 30 minutes. The bar man even checked our ID on a repeat order. Bar food order is only accepted if you are physically seated at the bar and not at the tables ( we don t deliver food to the tables ). The rooms show their age; the bath/shower tub seems to be from the last millennium. I will definitely not come back to this hotel.

Excellent hotel. Brian at the front desk was quite welcoming. Bob, the manager, greated me with a festive hot cocoa on a cold winter day!

Concierges (Ivan and ?) were more than helpful any time of day or night. Although we opted out of housekeeping, there were a few details missed that were easily corrected with a phone call ( no wash cloths in newly cleaned room or solely one robe in room on concierge level room). Staff was very responsive and courteous. Delicious and nutritious breakfast.

Thank you for a delightful stay!

This about their valet parking. I had a meeting with one of the guest of this hotel. I called in for parking info and got details about valet parking got the instructions. Once I arrived there the valet attendant gave me a ticket and got $20 for the 3 hours I was planning to be there. Once I came back to pick up the car there was a different valet attendant and told me that the ticket I have was not a valet parking tick but a luggage ticket which I had no Idea. To get the keys he gave me another ticket (supposed to be the correct valet ticket) and was going to charge me another $33!! When I complained to hotel manger his reply was that the parking is managed by a different company that there is nothing they can do. I felt he was totally irresponsible and inconsiderate. I ended up paying $33 (totally $53 for 3 hours). My point is when a visitor comes to the hotel it doesn't matter who manages the parking but the hotel should be responsible for parking.

We love this hotel but it is the largest Marriott in the area. Sometimes it's very busy with the valet parking but check-in is always fast. We have seen on many occasions slow service in their bar food services but honestly it's a hotel and not a restaurant so if you go there expecting a quality servers and speedy service I think you are expecting too much. Rooms are nice and we stay here often but we prefer the Courtyard next door if they are the same price.

The staff were courtesy and friendly. Was frustrating trying to sleep. many young teens on our floor. their was 100's running around the hallways making noise. We contacted the front desk many times. This work a for about a half hour each time. it continued until 0200 and I did not get any sleep. I would not stay their if I known all those tens were their unsupervised. Upset and tried from what was suppose to be relaxing vacation time.

Big, full service hotel with easy access to everything in downtown Philadelphia. The rooms are nicely appointed and all the hotel personnel I met were very friendly and helpful. There is a skybridge that connects you to the convenience center (after a bit of a walk through a big exhibition area). It's also across the street from Reading terminal, which should not be missed.

Great hotel. This was the first time i had ever been inside the actual hotel setting what a guest would see. I had been to a Stylistics concert there but never gotto move around the place. The rooms are fantastic. They are very comfortable and plush. On the East side you get a great view of the downtown area when at the 8th floor and higher. On the west side you get an even better view. Both sides that face the Market street side are where you get the views. There is a place that the employees call the Head House Tower. This is actually the Reading Terminal offices that were converted into guest rooms. Fabulous. There is the old terminal where the trains used to park that is just a hall they leads to the Convention Center. That brought back memories. This is one of Philadelphia's best hotels from my opinion.

I have been trying for several weeks to get a receipt and they have been impossible to provide this service despite telling me they were going to email it on check out. Mediocre accommodations, but great location.

Right in the heart of the city gives great access to a lot of restaurants. The staff are super friendly and happy to help and the rooms are spacious and comfortable to be in. The biggest shock is the be is comfortable! The mattress is not too soft and the pillows hold up throughout the night! What pressure is decent and the water is hot. I guess my only gripe is that I can't access Netflix through the tv like in other properties.
