Right now i am staying for 4 nights and i'll be leaving tomorrow.

Everything is good in term of cleanliness, location, the crews at the door and reception counter , BUT what the hell on earth is wrong with your breakfast crews? I had bad, terrible experience for the past 2 mornings except on my first breakfast on tuesday. Your breakfast crew made me started my morning not in a good way. The breakfast crews (the waitresses) are not friendly, not approachable, not welcoming, took more than 30 minutes to get the food on my table, forced me to pick what meal from the menu (they werent suggesting, but forcing. Forcing), and i would say they're rude. Not that kind of service u would expect with such hotel brand. My worst n bad experience in 4 stars hotel.

Shocking. Booked a room through Marriott's Associate rate and was refused at check in. Horrible experience. Left a review on TripAdvisor and was not even contacted after. They didn't seem to concerned that I was coming from out of town also. So upsetting.

The Marriott at Metro Center was perfect for our weekend getaway. Coming from Pennsylvania we parked at one of the outer Metro stations, took the train to Metro Center and had a very short walk to the hotel. We were able to check in earlier than expected and were well pleased with the spacious corner room on the tenth floor. The hotel is well situated to explore the capital area. Our accommodation met or exceeded every expectation and was reasonably priced. We'll be happy to return again.

Marriott Metro Center is a great hotel in a fantastic location. It's an easy walk to the White House, the Mall, and many great shops and restaurants. The rooms were nice and the staff are wonderful. The concierge lounge and breakfast were good. I love that there is a full serve Starbucks in the lobby. I'll definitely stay here again.

It is wonderful to stay at a hotel that has customer satisfaction as it's priority. Everyone from the person (bell person?) who met me at the door, to the registration clerk through to housekeeping staff. The thing is, that their sincerity was in their manner, their voice and their actions. I wish I had more business or personal travel to DC. This would be my go-to place. thanks for EVERYTHING you did.

Great location downtown, perfectly Metro accessible, clean to the level you'd expect from a hotel of this class, super-sad room service (mediocre food delivered in a bag in take-out packaging at room service prices).

I did not stay at the rooms but I did go for a convention that was very nicely taking care of by the hotel. The food was delicious and they had many items offered at the buffet. A conference area was very nice and we'll set up. Only complaint was that the chairs we're kind of uncomfortable after three or four hours.

Very large hotel with all major amenities. I was here for a conference. My room was cleaned daily and the bed was quite nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurants were OK, but there were very limited items without meat, especially hot food. Salad is OK but some more variety of meatless foods is great, such as a good veggie burger (not the cheapo bean kind, of course) or a stir fry with tofu. This hotel probably has a chef who would likely prepare something more accommodating if I had asked ahead of time, so I'm not going to take points away. I had a lovely time at my conference and felt comfortable the whole time.

I arrived at the Washington Marriott at Metro Cent...

I arrived at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center at around 1PM on a Wednesday. I had checked in using the app but there was no available room. They held my luggage while I went out to get lunch. I returned about 2:15 and the room still was not ready and was told that I would be called when it was ready. I sat around the lobby until 4PM when I finally went to the registration desk. My room was ready and I had NOT been notified.

I was assigned to a room on the 14th floor that had a view down 12th street as well as the top of the Washington Monument. The room was a good size with desk, mini-fridge and a nice high-back chair near the window. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. The closet was small but large enough for one person.

The concierge lounge is on the 2nd floor and served breakfast for those holding a certain Marriott Rewards level. There are also snacks and hors d'oeuvres and desserts from 5:30p to 10p. There is a computer and printer in case you needed to print something.

There is a restaurant and a separate Starbucks on the first floor of the hotel. There is a concierge desk to help with recommendations, reservations and other things. Unfortunately the parking is expensive and valet. The door people were very friendly and personable. The door people were very helpful with arrival luggage and getting taxis.

The hotel's location is great. The Metro Center station is on the block. There are plenty of restaurants within a 15 minute walk of the hotel. The National Mall is a 15 to 20 minute walk from the hotel including the National Natural History Museum and other Smithsonian museums.

Overall this is a very nice hotel is a better location than the Mayflower Hotel. I would actually prefer this hotel over the Mayflower because of the location. I would rate it about 4 1/2 .

Location is great, you are in the heart of the city. Walking around is easy as well or uber if necessary. Rooms are nice but at a hotel like this I would expect a mini fridge and a microwave. They also give sufficient towels.

I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. During my stay on my vacation i had to come down the the lobby EVERY night to settle some sort of payment that was ALREADY PAID FOR. The service was terrible, no one at the front desk would communicate about our situation and would always leave the situation is confusion.

Upon leaving and arriving home i was double charaged with $500 plus a screw up with parking. I have yet to get a penny back from this hotel for my chrages.

Do not stay with this hotel, you will lose all of your money because of their mistakes.

Here for a conference hosted in the lower level: no wi-fi, no cell-phone signal, small projector screen positioned too low to be visible, video connections that come and go, A/C blasting ... could not be worse.

I forgot my purse in a public restroom at this hotel right before a hockey game. (GO CAPS!) Two girls turned it in to the front desk who gave it to security. Not only was everything in my purse, but the Marriott staff and security were friendly and professional. WONDERFUL experience here in downtown DC. Karma can give great returns...

Good hotel, great location. The place is standard Marriott, with an excellent staff and clean & comfortable rooms. The location is great, in the middle of D.C. and adjacent to Metro Center, so you can get anywhere quickly. Macy's across the street, any good restaurants nearby.

Had an overnight stay at the Washington Marriott while I was in town to enjoy a show and had a wonderful experience. When checking in I realized to my horror that I had made my online reservations for the wrong night! Thanks to the wonderful staff they were able to straighten it all out for me in no time. Had an amazing nights sleep on the very comfortable plush king bed, and enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Will make this my Go-To place when in DC.
