We were only there to meet with a friend who was in town. We did have to wait for about 10 minutes and we found the environment very comfortable and accommodating. We would definitely consider this hotel for an overnight stay.
Stayed here in early Aug 2019. By far my worst stay at a Marriott property. Room was extremely hot and multiple calls to the hotel maintenance could not get the issue resolved. The AC was set to the lowest temperature approx 60F throughout our stay which was apparently the only solution they could come up with. They moved us to a different room and it was the same issue. Hotel staff wasn t very understanding and blamed the hot weather outside instead of the hotel s HVAC system. Keep in mind that I am a lifetime Titanium member with Marriott and this was my experience so be careful before you book this hotel. Really can t understand how this hotel can call itself category 5.
We had an amazing stay at the Marriot-Metro Center. The location was perfection! Just a few blocks from The White House. The service staff was absolutely incredible- especially Joseph the bellhop. He went out of his way to make my kids laugh and got them tiny stuffed animals that they would not let go of! He instantly made things better and easier for us! Also, the concierge was helpful and gave great recommendations. Overall, this staff is incredible and they should be very proud to do what they do!
