Marriott Evergreen Resort Review

Beautiful resort and hotel. Beautiful views. Friendly staff and great service.

The staff here is so accommodating and the atmosphere is so serene. I Love this place so much I have almost made a monthly trek here.

Requested a roll away bed when we arrived. No roll away bed when we returned from eating and it had been at least two hours. Requested a roll away bed again and was told I would get a call back in 15 minutes. I called back and was told it had been delivered but I told the lady it has not been. She said it was left in the hallway hopefully nobody took it. I let her know it wasn't out there and we had one delivered. I assumed they would put in my room while we were gone to eat but I guess they don't go in rooms.
The room was so small that the iron board was laid against a wall in the room.

The staff was pleasant but the hotel wasn't what I'm use to and/or expecting.

We booked our room for a one night stay to give ourselves a little R&R in the beautiful Stone Mountain Park. At first our room did not live up to our expectations. Being that I have managed one of the top ten sushi restaurants in the world, private events for Royalty and my wife is a senior flight attendant for American Airlines guest experience and hospitality are second nature to us. When we alerted Emily at the front desk to our issues she quickly came to the rescue with a solution that we can only describe as perfect. Thank you Emily, we both look forward too seeing you advance in the world of hospitality!!!!!!!

Resort was great and lady at the front desk provided great service. My room didn't have any soap so they had to bring some up. There would have been so much to do nearby except most of the places were closed due to covid. I would definitely go back and take my son with me next time.

Such a beautiful peaceful spot to relax & recharge The balconies that come with the lake view rooms are totally worth the upcharge.

This Resort location overlooking the lake by Stone Mountain was restful and beautiful. The conference we attended at this resort made use of the wonderful outdoor walking trails and great food. In between our conference sessions we enjoyed sitting outside in the rocking chairs overlooking the pool with a glass of wine. The gardens were well cared for. We would be happy to go back.

Great staff, super friendly and very helpful! Rooms are great, and they have giant chess and checkers poolside!

Great place to stay and beautiful. James at the front desk is awesome. James was very helpful and polite to us....I will be back to this beautiful property, and james is a big reason why I will be back. We all need to learn from james and treat all people like he does. Thanks Scott Kennedy

They don't give wifi or breakfast.
Breakfast is only Saturday n Sundays. That makes no sense.
Only Starbucks is the available breakfast on-site.
Nice lake view room wonderful n beautiful. Room is clean and nice.
But lose points. For breakfast an wifi.

Stayed the night here in a Suite and the best part about it all was the amazing view! The bed was also comfortable. The only negative was how cold the room was despite the heat being on 80 and some peeling on the bathroom ceiling. The pool and jacuzzi didn't look all that clean but I did smell the chlorine. All in all I would go back!

A really bad start to my stay , I booked and confirmed a balcony lake view and arrived to a parking lot view. I was pretty much told nothing can be done , including a refund to the extra payment I made for a lake view. Very disappointed and it s the first hour. :(

Marriott purchased this resort and really spiffed it up. Rooms clean with typical Marriott amenities. They don't disappoint. I didn't see evidence of the deep cleaning they claim to do because of Covid but the usual clean was apparent. No daily room service which was a bit disappointing but staff responsive to anything we needed. We had a balcony with an awesome view of the lake. Pools and gym open. Waterside restaurant on site prepared nice meals. Mountain brew Cafe open early each day serving Starbucks. Trails to hike and lots of walking spaces. Located on Stone Mountain site. Highly recommended this place.

This property is stunning! The front desk staff are phenomenal and have great knowledge about all the activities here.

I had some issues with my breakfast service and maid service, so I spoke with front desk. They apologized for the issues and offered me a credit at the Starbucks Cafe, where I got a great snack and frosted coffee. Everyone makes mistakes, its how you react to them that matters!

They have free parking and a shuttle to take you to the activities. Great property with stunning views of the lake and mountain from the balcony rooms. I LOVE that they have quiet hours, which makes for a relaxing stay.

I already extended my stay and look forward to my next visit!

Wow wow wow. I've been missing out. I've been to Atlanta area lots of times to enjoy some type of event they were having. But i never thought to stay here and get the enjoy of stone mountain Marriott scenery. Its wonderful.!

A majestic place as the surroundings are a sight to behold, the Marriott has the best staff who greets you upon arrival and they are extremely nice and cordial. This place with its excellent customer service thanks to its staff is a gem.

Waterside restaurant was amazing, great view, food was amazing and the staff was excellent. Definitely would recommend it!

Amazing views and location. If you want to get away from city life and relax def worth it the restaurant and bar are ok I feel like the food is very simple but the heated pools were amazing and nice during a cold weekend

Omg. Words cannot express. The staff here are above and beyond wonderful. The nicest place I have ever stayed and the staff was wonderfully amazing. They treated us like gold. They were kind and thoughtful and wrote a card just a make a girl feel better when she was going thru boy troubles I love this place.

Very nice hotel on stone mountain property. Parking is free once you pay to enter the park. Then you get a guest pass so you can leave the park and come back. Lots of amenities. Very nice staff. We had the lake view balcony. It was serene and cozy. The house made sangria was delicious. #reviewsbyelijah

Clean facilities, friendly staff, and a right on the lake. Two pools and workout facilities. Enjoy your morning coffee from balcony looking at Stone Mountain. Many balcony have a combined lake and pool view.

My wife and I have ran away to this specific location numerous times. Sometimes with the kids sometimes just us. The spa was always wonderful, the outdoor paths are fun and peaceful most amenities were great. Then covid hit. That's has to be the reasoning for the spa being gone, the bar being gone and the restaurant prices being so amazingly high for par food at best. I ordered a $34 ribeye that was bland, no taste. $30 for a double Hendricks Gin. Bartender Rahel was nice and friendly with a great pour. Buffets are gone.
I asked for three specific things during my booking process online. None of those things happened and we had to ask for some of the amenities that were part of our package. If it were not for the two extremely attentive managers, and I apologize for not remembering their names, we would have given this visit a rating of two stars.

The best place I have found in this area. Rooms clean and food is great. And they make a awesome Margarita. I will be. Back

Amy their wedding coordinator is the best! The resort is fabulous with great and professional customer service that's extremely personalized to cater your every need. Can't wait to visit again.
