Jack Wills Outdoor Furniture Review

Wow! Let me share an experience with the Jack Wills store and you see what you think.

Being tired of cheap gas grills and their parts rusting out I went in 14 years ago and said I want to buy a gas grill that would last.

They said "buy a Ducane brand grill - they are American made and have a lifetime warranty"! What they did not say but knew themselves then was that Ducane was in Bankruptcy! They did not tell me that and apparently knew that they were unloading an uncompetitive brand that the Chinese had killed and there was no chance they would survive - and they knew it when they sold it to me, the dumb unsuspecting consumer! Remember, this was back in the days of no smartphones and only in-home dial-up Internet!

Fast forward to 3 days ago when I took the rusted and destroyed "life-time warenteed parts" in and was told that Jack Wills could not help me and that Ducane was not in existence! They said just call Webber Grills who they said bought the Ducane Company and work with them on the warranty on the parts and they gave me the phone #.

After 3 days, 8 phone calls, voicemails back and forth and hours of wasted time, I found that yes, Webber had bought Ducane but only the name (post bankruptcy) and no liabilities (verified on-line by Google by documentation I found on the web after I hung up).

Bottom line is I was mislead by the salespeople at Jack Wills on the purchase 14 years ago and "known suspect warranty and continued company existence" the first time and mislead by them again this week because they already knew what I found out after hours of wasted time on hold on the phone! I am furious! I hope Jack Wills sees that customers are being treated like this! They sent me out to call Weber as they did not want me complaining and causing a problem in front of their other customers!

I will tell anyone and everyone I know in the world to NOT buy anything from these people! I am pissed! I want an apology from them and them to compensate me for the bankrupt company grill they foisted off on me! DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THESE PEOPLE TELL YOU AND EVEN IF YOU SEE ANY WARRANTY IN WRITING - DO NOT BELIEVE IT!

Been around for a long time. My family has bought outdoor furniture here for years. Quality products with knowledgeable and not pushy sales people. Highly recommend!

If you want quality, Jack Wills is THE place to shop. Their stuff doesn't fall apart like the cheap stuff in big box stores.

Great experience at the store , had a play set installed for my grand kids for Christmas . The service also gets 5 stars from the salesman to the installers .

Can't rate anything in the store or the products, but I can recommend the customer service.

I've been trying to track down someone to repair or service a gas-log unit for days and Bryce at Jack Wills was the first and only one to have an answer. He promptly gave me two names and numbers of contractors to try when I asked if they did the work.

Will definitely check Jack Wills out in the future.

We tried finding some propane connectors here, but they didn't have what we needed. However, they were extremely eager to please and offered suggestions of other places that might work. One person even made a call to another location! Very helpful, cheerful staff!

I bought a Napolean Wood Stove from Tommy Norman and love the quality and performance of the product. It looks great in our farm house and heats most of our home on cold winter days. I have saved a bundle in heating costs! Tommy was very helpful and I would recommend Jack Wills and Tommy for your wood burning or gas fireplace and stove needs.

We were looking for a Magra Hearth and was told Jack Wills Co was our local dealer. They were so nice and helpful! They went above and beyond for us and we plan to revisit them when construction wraps up for a Rainbow playset & outdoor kitchen/furniture.

They carry a nice line of gas logs and were very helpful with information on which type is best.

Be careful coming here because I needed 6 inch double wall stainless steel insulated pipe for my wood burning stove. They sold it to me for just over $250. I felt I was being taken. So I went online and found double wall stainless steel insulated 6 inch pipe for my wood burning stove for just under $100 from Metal Fab, which was the same manufacturer as the pipe I had bought from the store.

I was told by the sales rep and the lady working behind the counter and help me with information on how to install the blower for my wood burning stove that the best time to come here is when they are having clearance sales.

Came in to Jack Wills for a set of fireplace gas logs and the sales associates were so friendly and knowledgeable. We love our cozy new fire!
