My wife and I have ran away to this specific location numerous times. Sometimes with the kids sometimes just us. The spa was always wonderful, the outdoor paths are fun and peaceful most amenities were great. Then covid hit. That's has to be the reasoning for the spa being gone, the bar being gone and the restaurant prices being so amazingly high for par food at best. I ordered a $34 ribeye that was bland, no taste. $30 for a double Hendricks Gin. Bartender Rahel was nice and friendly with a great pour. Buffets are gone.
I asked for three specific things during my booking process online. None of those things happened and we had to ask for some of the amenities that were part of our package. If it were not for the two extremely attentive managers, and I apologize for not remembering their names, we would have given this visit a rating of two stars.
