My family stayed here and from the consistently cheerful guest relations staff to the cleanliness of the rooms to the complimentary breakfast and workout room, this was an excellent stay. I highly recommend them for travelers or Austinites who just want a night in a hotel. The staff did a great job of welcoming us and going out of their way to help us find what we needed and even set us up at another Residence Inn to watch football at their lounge.

Great hotel to stay at if you're going to the convention center. Rooms are clean and well appointed and staff is friendly. The free breakfast had a large variety and the food was hot and fresh. Don't trust your GPS though, it may get confused in the maze of one way streets.

Rooms big enough for two with all the amenities you could need. Makes you feel very alone if you are alone, so you might get a smaller place. However, this place is cheap and very well situated--you can go out anywhere and get back on foot. Yeah, dig this place a lot.

If you are ok with booking a suite and them downgrading the room and charging you the same amount, this is the place for you. Switching the room and not informing the person and charging the same amount is illegal but hey if you get away with it guess it's considered a profit maker. BTW I'm a gold member so status doesn't matter.

The Residence Inn is a great option if you're attending a professional event in downtown Austin. The suites are like small apartments that include a small kitchen, living space, bedroom area and bath / dressing area. They feel much larger than a typical hotel room and offer a great option if your stay is longer than one or two nights. The staff was professional and courteous. The restaurant was quite good, and the location was incredibly convenient to the convention center and great local restaurants. I highly recommend it.

The room was nice. Hotel lobby and the breakfast was exceptional. The best part, though, was the front desk staff. The woman who checked us in, I think Jolani, was extremely friendly. We told her we were there for my friend's birthday and she left us a nice note and some snacks. It was a wonderful gesture.

The bed is supposed to be a Queen but it's really a double. The rooms seem a bit dark. The rooms are super small (compared to the Hyatt across the street) and bathroom is tiny. Only postive is the breakfast seems to have more options and the gym is bigger.

This was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The room was beautiful, the service was perfect, and the staff went about and beyond to make my stay wonderful. One particular front desk agent, Prences, even wrote me a note thanking me for my visit.

Between the awesome location and the incredible employees I definitely recommend staying here.

Very nice room and amenities. Stayed for a week for business and couldn't have been happier. Small kitchenette was nice, along with breakfast and a pretty nice small gym. Would definitely stay again!

The staff were incredible! Special thanks to the young man tending the front desk (morning shift I believe) for being so kind and welcoming. There is construction happening currently so be aware, they are not advertising that in advanced (which was annoying). Otherwise, great place.

A good hotel in a good location with a great staff. There is a Starbucks located on the property and they have valet parking for your car. The parking, valet or self park, is expensive but that's my only knock on this property. The staff are great and the rooms are well appointed and maintained.

Great location! Came for a business meeting - lady at front desk wrote me a personal note wishing me good luck and the manager gave me a notebook. Room was tidy, staff was friendly, what else do you need?

I loved my stay at the hotel, Joshua checked us in and he was very friendly and helpful with some extra items we needed to make our stay more comfortable.
The hotel is extremely luxurious, the entrance is in the Courtyard and as you walk in you get such a pleasant vibe. The room was clean and very roomy for my kids and myself, the kitchenette is a huge bonus for our families snacking needs.
The location is close to everything, what a treat being so close to restaurants, coffee shops and Lady Bird Lake

Normally we are greeted by a personable receptionist at this hotel, but this time that wasn't the case. The girl that checked us in was rude and had zero people skills. I'm sure we will go back, i just hope we get a different person.

Best hotel ever. They even put in the wireless key cards so I can just wave my wallet or phone to open the door because my arms are often full from shopping or picking up food. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, even the bartender went to the front desk to check on my room because I was eating after a long flight. Restaurant has great food too, it's a lovely selection of Texas comfort food!

Staff was really friendly, facilities were clean and nice, but pretty expensive for what you get. No minifridge in the room. Hot water was not plentiful. And overnight valet was $37, compared to $15 from the same company in a different city. I would stay here again, but with requests.
