Great theatre, enjoyed the show but didn't like the overepriced merchandise sellers outside a show for toddlers

Beautiful theatre. Well designed too. Comfortable seating and great sounding too. Definitely one to visit especially with the history of Canterbury around it

Such a great place always something good to watch, always feels like a treat when you go even if it's often, great staff.

Good show ...theatre seats need updates, bar is too expensive by far

Very good theatre in the heart of Canterbury. West End shows performed as well as operas and musicals. Lots of restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Good to stay locally and enjoy Canterbury if you're travelling to the area as Canterbury is well worth a visit.

We went to a panto which was very good. Before panto we had dinner at the Green Room, which was very nice, very attentive good food#

Loads of positive thoughts, excellent location, good connections, plenty of parking nearby. The west end in Canterbury, no need to travel to Lound on to see high quality performances

Visited to see Pantomime with the family. From collecting tickets from the box office to getting a coffee in the interval the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The show was excellent as it has been every year.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Accessibility is well considered, they have wheelchairs available and the staff were accommodating. Thank you! Make sure you go to the top floor and check out the view.

Seating is a more than a little bit cramped. Feels like you can't move without kicking or elbowing person in next seat.

Good venue, comfortable seats with good leg space, decent drink and snack selection, no long queues for drinks, and also not even that bad for the ladies! Most seats I think would have good views too as it isn't too large. Only reason not 5 stars is that all the milling around space is by the front doors so could feel more relaxing, and gets a bit breezy on a cooler day.

Value for money great atmosphere. Good views comfy seats. Don't think next year's brochure got much going on.

Excellent venue, very nicely renovated. Has a restaurant and various bars. Very clean, tidy and looks great in the actual theatre. Very comfortable seats and great viewing of the stage. Went to see Jimmu Carr, he was awesome and the venue made it miles better.

Good but please stop selling sweets in noisy packets - ignorant people have a field day eating minstrels/smarties when trying to watch theatre!

Annual trip to the Panto but felt this year was a bit flat. 'Demon Vanity' was hilariously funny which sort of made up for it.

We love when we get to go to the Marlowe, this is normally when we are being treated as it is a bit out of our price range. This is the reason I have given it 4 stars, when there are 4 of us you are talking a lot of money. Actual shows always impress, facility is stunning.

Nice enough food and friendly staff, no air conditioning which is a big issue in the heat.

Great venue with some great shows preformed here. It is a bit ugly but it does the trick.

The Marlowe's Green Room restaurant offers pre-theatre dinner menus which can be booked ahead, or you can just turn up and order. The food is not bad...

All the people who work there are very nice and the people who act there are very talented

I love this theatre very comfy always had good seats it's a very nice atmosphere we watch the pantomime every year here and it has as in stitches would highly recommend

The winter pantomime is good but the food prices are a rip off

Love the marlowe theatre, clean tidy and what ever seat you may book tge view of the entertainment is second to none never had a bad experience yet, and been several times 100% recommend

Absolutely lovely theatre sound and unobscured view were fantastic, amenities were great, toilets really clean although despite there being loads of loos, during the breaks they still get busy like any other theatre. The theatre itself seems to show so many different acts there really is a lot of choice and the prices aren t bad either.

Excellent new feel to the theatre and Staff were excellent in attitude.

Third incarnation of Canterbury's main theatre. This one was a cinema in a previous life, which affects its shape somewhat. Well appointed, although somewhat clinical in front of house - cannot be described as cosy. Not particularly adventurous in what is put on - for that try the Gulbenkian at the University of Kent.

Lovely theatre, only down side is that without a central aisle you will probably have to get up more often to let people through. An options to go for an end seat so you don't get so much shuffling past...

Good theatre. Horrible foyer and uncosy bars. In Central Canterbury which is always a fun place to be.... If you can afford the crazy parking prices.

Really entertaining afternoon. Fun for all the family, music dialogue, story time and colourful. Love it.

No aisles means people disturbing others throughout the performance getting to and from their seats, very disruptive. Sacrifice audience for more revenue from more seats or simply ignorant, thoughtless design? Our evening was ruined. If I could have put this up with no stars I would, but the system won't allow that! (: (: (:

There is always a wide range of shows here which are all very good. The pantomime each year is excellent too and the staff and always friendly to us and stay calm despite the huge amounts of people there. The seating is excellent to as you can always see and I am not very tall so it is excellent for everyone and there are booster seats for little children to sit on too.
