I was lucky enough to see War Horse last night, it was Fantastic.!!
Dearer then argos their sister company on house items
A nice modern theatre that has an impressive range of acts/plays etc. However, it is not cheap and ensure that you dress for winter as it is always cold in there even with packed houses.
An awe inspiring performance of Warhorse in a wonderful venue
Theatre with some great productions. Comfortable and clean with great acoustics. No parking but a nice riverside location.
loved it here, i saw legally blonde with my school and as a big fan of musicals i can say i really enjoyed it, and my friends did too. the view was good, and cheap. everything was great
A great theatre where we see London productions at half the London price!
Have been here a lot. The revamped theatre is lovely. Easy to find your seats and facilities. The pre booked pre show meal is excellent and adds a nice touch to the evening. All in all an excellent venue and terrific shows.
What a fabulous polished performance I saw at the Marlowe Last night watching The Sound of Music. From the nuns to the children everyone was pitch perfect from the simple but effective sets to the acting and singing of all the cast, just superb. Congratulations you deserved your standing ovation. If you haven't got a ticket I'd suggest you try and get one if there's any left.
Love the marlowe xhad a pre Dinner, amazing food and great staff was well.looked after
Great place to watch a musical. Get on your feet was fabulous!!
I was actually at the Marlow to perform! All the staff I met were polite, friendly and put us all at ease. The atmosphere is professional yet comfortable. It was truly a great experience.
Nice theatre plenty of bars for drinks but not many seats.
No staff on seating door entrance to check tickets and offer assistance which resulted in a disagreement behind us over seating which spoilt the start of the show
Amazing experience and brilliant as usual. Staff were amazing and took the time to talk to Gary who was with us.. much appreciated made his day.
Such an interesting place, culture and history floats in the air in Canterbury...
Very good venue for some family entertainment at the pantomime..
Just for people how live canterbury not for the rest of us.to upper crust that,z what they think no wonder they voted labour roll on brexit give canterbury to EU.
Just been to see an evening with the total legend that is Brian Blessed. Great venue, sat at the back of the circle and the view and acoustics were excellent.
The reason why I have only given 2stars my partner has trouble with walking ,there are a lot of steps out the front ,we were walking along the decking path which then goes to the slabbed area, if I hadn't been there he would have ended up on the floor as there's a bit of difference , which shock my partner as he fell towards the window .As we were there for ower son's birthday present we didn't say anything.
Saw Killer Queen last night (Queen tribute band) and it was awesome!
Love this theatre, plenty of different genres to choose from: panto, drama, music, ballet, comedy.
A lovely place. I've watched many shows there. The new building provides more space to the visitors, making it even more attractive than before.
Always a great view wherever we sit. Fab variety of performances. One of my favourite places to visit
The show fantastic as always. Talented people. I'm never disappointed. Atmosphere brilliant
Comfy leather seats, just about enough leg room ( 3rd row of the Circle ). Modern, clean
Went to watch the nut cracker performance by the Russian ballet
Saw Ben Folds here. Nice venue for this type of music. Will be looking out for more events here in the future
Warehouse would you get a fat bloke in a dress flying on goose!
It's uncomfortable if your over 6ft tall but other than that it's quite pleasant
Lovely venue, london shows at great prices. War horse was amazing.
GREAT SHOWS, RUSSIAN BALLET. SEATING A LITTLE CRAMPED BUT ADEQUATE. ICE CREAM VERY EXPENSIVE.
A pokey, awkward auditorium with uncomfortable seating. I think they missed a trick not installing a modern stage like the 02s when they rebuilt, but it's the only game in town theatre wise. Shame.
Oh my god, food was amazing. Cooked to perfection, enough in each plate to fill you up. It is also a priced that any budget could go here. Staff so friendly, helpful and smiley.
Good acoustics, comfy chairs but the armrests could be longer
Always great performances but it's a bit pricey for me...
Great place. Wait till the end of pandemic and join in!
I do believe in fairies I do I do! Great panto, we'll be back next year!
Rock of ages fantastic show will see it again if it comes back !
Brilliant theatre in a real nice part of canterbury. The location and setting is perfect with a river going past and illuminated features at night. Theirs also a pub opposite. The theatre itself is excellent! A good vibe and exciting atmosphere. The theatre is clean modern and spacious. The facilities are also really good. The theatre also holds some seriously good productions from west end touring musicals to really good comedy acts.
Lovely experience, green room restaurant lovely too
Large theatre, great performances and welcoming g staff that are very knowledgeable
Amazing show tonight, opening night of panto- if you haven't got tickets go on line now. You won't be disappointed
I love the Theatre it is just a great place to go to see any show that is being performed.
The shows are great just tried to squeeze in too many seats
Love this theatre and the pantomime is great for the small one's.
Does some West End shows and ballet too.
Lot's of good shows to see nice seats lots of leg room
Lovely evening saw the panto with my daughter and granddaughter, great evening
Lovely layout, very colourful, welcoming theatre. Excellent sound quality.
Great performance of Peter Pan. Would definitely recommend...
Such a great place for watching the yearly pantomime. Also plenty of other fantastic shows to choose from throughout the year.
Local venue with a great variety of entertainment catering for all age ranges. Easily accessible for disabled. Staff get involved to aid in the atmosphere.
The concert on Friday 15th June was amazing. Loved every minute
"We have just seen the best panto ever" was the word's that our family and friends were saying after seeing Dick Whittington last night.A big thank you to all the Marlowe people x
Awesome. Mother Goose was yet another pantomime triumph. You have to love it... It's the law!
Great place staff were lovely but cramped in entrance though
Great theatre could see from all seats .good performance .easy access for disabled. central for Canterbury
Went to the panto, we got great seat and had a brilliant time. The jokes were very fun for kids and adults. Will definitely book for next year!
Good theatre as friends of the marlowe go quite often.
Some great entertainment here and right in the heart of Canterbury, surrounded by places to eat and drink. I would have given this five Stars but the seating in the Marlow is terrible and really let's it down
Fantastic show Mamma Mia seen there nice modern theatre
Pick your play there's something for everyone, always friendly staff on hand, ice cream tubs sold in the interval there's a reasonable restaurant but book in advance it can be a bit pricey but the food is good and of course there's a bar.
Saw Warhorse, fantastic show. Theatre is now a far better venue since the rebuilding
Had a pre show dinner in the Green Room followed by Motown The Musical
