I would post a zero star review if it was possible. I was an early adopter of Markforged and paid over $6000 to purchase a Mark One just 4 years ago. Now, Markforged is completely discontinuing all support, parts, materials (nylon), and service on these Mark One printers. In 6 months I will be left with a $6000 paper weight and Markforged doesn't seem to care. They tell me I can upgrade but I'll have to shoulder the cost at an additional $3500. The company does not stand behind their product or the customers that helped them become what they are today. I would not recommend.

I bought a used Mark two printer from an owner which was sold in 2016. In the same year, Markforged release Onyx material which is supposed to be compatible with Mark Two printer. In order to dissuade customer to buy second hand printer, they wanted me to pay ridiculous fees (8500$ US) to "upgrade" the printer. Be careful before making the choice to buy a Markforged printer, they may charge you unreasonable cost when your warranty will be over.

As a nylon printer, Markforged products have always impressed me with the quality and elegance of their printer platform. As a industrial 3D printer, with the specialized ability to add short strand and continuous fibers such as carbon, Kevlar and HT Fiberglass to 3D printed parts, there really is nothing else like it. This is a must for any fabrication shop interested in strength, flexibility, and high heat deflection in their function 3D printed parts.

Awesome product, great people, fun, creative, technical, exciting company! They have demonstrated to be a disruptor in the 3D print market and all indications are they won't stop while becoming a true leader in the FDM world. I'm a costumer and own a Markforged 2. The printer is easy to use and the software is all on the cloud. They are very responsive to customer feedback, requests, and enhancements. I can't wait to see what this company will create tomorrow and for the future!

Markforged and their machines are nothing but a pleasure to work with. From day one, the parts that come off the printer are strong, accurate, and very nice to look at. On the rare occasion that an issue does arise, Markforged customer service has always been quick to respond and proven very helpful. It's been a great experience getting to know this company and the people who make it so great.

Very easy to use and reliable. I have run over 200 prints on the Mark 2, and had very few fail. Amazing surface quality. I spend almost no time post processing parts. The Eiger software is very intuitive and easy to use. Quick responses from their support thus far.

About Markforged

Markforged produces the leading additive manufacturing platform for manufacturing and factory floors. Our best-in-class industrial carbon fiber and metal…

Markforged is a leading additive manufacturing platform that specializes in producing industrial carbon fiber and metal 3D printers. The company was founded in 2013 by Greg Mark, who had a vision of creating a new era of manufacturing that would be faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective than traditional methods.

The company's flagship product is the Markforged Industrial Series, which is designed to meet the needs of manufacturers and factory floors. This platform uses advanced technology to produce high-quality parts with exceptional strength and durability. It can print parts made from carbon fiber, stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, copper, and other materials.

One of the key advantages of using Markforged's additive manufacturing platform is its ability to produce complex geometries that are difficult or impossible to create using traditional methods. This allows manufacturers to design parts with greater precision and accuracy while reducing waste and minimizing production time.

Another advantage of using Markforged's platform is its cost-effectiveness. By eliminating the need for expensive tooling or molds required by traditional manufacturing processes such as injection molding or casting, companies can save significant amounts on production costs.

Markforged has also developed an innovative software suite called Eiger that simplifies the entire printing process from design through post-processing. Eiger provides users with intuitive tools for designing parts as well as managing print jobs remotely from anywhere in the world.

In addition to its industrial series printers, Markforged also offers desktop 3D printers for prototyping applications as well as a range of accessories such as filaments and nozzles designed specifically for use with their machines.

Overall, Markforged has established itself as a leader in additive manufacturing technology thanks to its innovative products and commitment to quality. With its focus on providing solutions for manufacturers looking to improve their efficiency while reducing costs without sacrificing quality or performance – it's no wonder why so many companies are turning towards this cutting-edge technology!
