Great school! Highly ranked. One of two campuses for highschool. Great sports teams and wonderful teachers.

The teachers here make money for every detention they assign. It s $1 stipend at the end of the year, confirmed by my college algebra teacher from junior year. You can t have your phones out at all. It s full of racism and sexism. The staff and teachers are rude and condescending, especially the ones working in the offices. The school wants to make money off of discipline and if anyone can provide me with a way to file a report about this school to the state, please comment below. I went to this school for 7 months and couldn t wait to get out. This is not a school for creative and free-thinkers. It s comparable to Statesville.

Extremely strict on the tiniest of policies and treats students as if everything is their fault

The school sold more parking spots than there were available and you show up late? Your fault.

The teachers use up the student's spaces rather than their own so you can't find a spot? Your fault

Have a phone out while eating lunch in the cafeteria? Double detention.

Way of getting to school breaks or becomes unavailable? Your fault.

Not a good school.

I had the pleasure of attending the Lockport Chamber Christmas Luncheon yesterday and as a new business owner in Lockport I was so impressed with the amazing performance by Lockport High School's Madrigal Group. It was just magical and exactly what I needed in so many ways. What a wonderfully talented group of young men and woman directed by an outstanding educator! I am proud to be a resident and business owner in Lockport.

this is literally the worst school to ever send your kid too. none of the kids in this building are safe. Mr.Bartley writes you up for everything you do and does not listen to a single word. I got a detention one day for texting my mom for a medical reason (asthma) his response was I don t care what kind of dean is that. He does not deserve the job as a dean of students. I would rather go back to Homer than be stuck in that school. Also the school has terrible staff. some teachers are okay but definitely not all. So many kids get into fights in our school and they care more about a kid swearing in the hall way. If you want your kid to come home depressed or with a write up sheet send he/she to Lockport. #responsibleporter

I currently have two children at Lockport Township High School. I have been a resident of Homer Township, now Homer Glen since 1998. I am very impressed with the experience that both of my children are having. My oldest who is a Senior this year has had the best possible High School experience and will attend Augustana College in the fall where he will play football and throw shot-put. All thanks to the mentoring of many of his teachers and coaches at Lockport Township High School. They have been such a BIG part of helping us raise him. He is capable, directed and above all a very happy person. My younger child, a Sophomore, also is enjoying her high school experience and will most definitely be prepared for college and beyond. Thank-you Lockport Township High School teachers and coaches - I truly appreciate all that you have done for my children!!! A mother is only as happy as her children are - and I am very happy!

My child goes here She once was a happy girl but now she is sad. The dean at this school is extremely rude to her his name is Mr.Bartly he once called her down to tell her she is not allowed to talk to her best friend and if she did she would be escorted to all of her classes. The staff is rude to students and only wants to punish them for stupid things like talking to loud in the library instead of fights in he hall. If you want your kid to be depressed and have no friends you should send them to this school.If you go to this school you know the struggle of coming home with a pink slip that says you threw a chicken nugget at a football game and it was disrespectful. #prayforlockportstudents #resposibleporter #dontforgettowearyourID
