This pharmacy has good service when you're there, but their hours of operation are so limited that it's hard to ever pick up your medication if you work an 8-5pm job. Shoppers Drug Mart is open all the time, late evenings and all weekend, so I had to switch over to them.
Accessed this pharmacy for the first time today as they've taken over for University of Calgary's Varsity Pharmacy in the mean time due to COVID-19. Excellent service, speedy turn-around for returning phone calls, friendly and helpful staff. Getting my prescription, though couldn't leave a credit card with them for delivery purposes, was quite easy and painless. 10/10 would recommend.
Super hero s to my daughter and I ! I don t drive and it s downpouring rain . My daughter has head to toe eczema and is constantly itching and needed her cream badly . This place brought it by right away , just amazed at their kindness thank you!! One day after and she s almost all better thanks to you.
Market Mall pharmacy provided me with professional advice and had all the answers. Their on staff prescribing pharmacist was able to fill my prescription without the need for a visit to my doctor. I'd recommend this location for all your pharmacy needs.
Worst service ever! I ordered a compound among other medications on a Wednesday afternoon, and they told me it would be ready for the next day (Thursday) after 4:30 pm. When I went there on Thursday, the person keeps looking for the compound for 10 minutes and then she tells me she doesn't know what happened but that it was not ready and the lab was closed already. I said I would have appreciated at least a phone call to let me know it wasn't ready. She said she didn't know anything about it but that they could deliver the next day between 7 and 8 pm (meaning Friday). I called Friday morning to make sure they were delivering this day since my daughter needed the compound, they told me they would deliver for sure today Friday. It is 10 pm on Friday and they didn't deliver anything!!! No phone call to inform me, nothing! Worst service ever! Not buying from this pharmacy ever again. I will call tomorrow again to see what happened to my medication.
Of course, they charged for the medication right away on Wednesday but it is Friday night and they can't deliver yet!
They lady said she was not a pharmacist and that she didn't have any idea what was in the bag, when she gave me the rest of the medications and I asked if she was not going to explain the medications details as most pharmacies do! OMG! The worst!
Fantastic service and the pharmacist was GREAT with answering some questions I had around my prescription and an OTC medication I was using.
Twice now have brought a prescription here for my infant son to be compounded into a liquid. First time, told "in the morning", arrive at 4:20pm, not ready - told "we promise we didn't forget about you!" As they phone the lab upstairs to figure it out. Second time, prepared for this and ordered in advance in case there's a delay (so we don't run out), told 4:30pm, arrive 1:00pm next day - not ready again, almost a full 24 hours after the time we were told it would be ready - so now have to wait until Monday to get the medicine I should've had Friday night! The medication is for severe acid reflux that impacts his quality of life, and it's not like I can just pop him a Tums while we wait for this pharmacy to get his medicine ready? Will take our business elsewhere, so we can hopefully keep our little guy from not being in pain for an entire weekend because this place can't figure it out?
Just spoke with John and he was unbelieveably kind and helpful! I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with everyone at this pharmacy, highly recommend. I will go out of my way to support these guys as they do for me.
Have had trouble with my lips being swollen, burning and irritated for weeks. After trying every chapstick, and moisturizer i could get my hands on the dermatologist upstairs suggested using Lipfix which is made by market mall pharmacy. The results were instant and my lips are back to normal.
The second time i arrived to pick up Lipfix i drove from south Calgary and arrived late and they had already closed. The gentleman inside saw me at the door and graciously let me purchase some more Lipfix. Not very often do business's go out of their way to help people, especially after closing. Therefore i highly recommend this place and their Lipfix lip balm
Great service!!! I was given a compound prescription that expired sooner than I'm accustomed to. I called to express concern about the expiration date... because I wasn't sure if I'd use it all before then. They said they'd make me a fresh batch and that they would deliver it to my house!
