Great Shot Golf Reviews

I've gone here about 20 times, and every time it gets better. Staff is incredibly helpful, courteous, and always available. The drinks are pretty pricey, but the food is more than reasonable. It's warm in the winter depending on the wind direction thanks to the overhead thermal heaters. Callaway clubs are available upon request if you don't want to use the house clubs. There are multiple games to play and virtual courses. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to golf in the winter in South Dakota.

I ve always had a great experience with Great Shots but last Saturday I was less then impressed. We walk to guest services to book a bay. Was told there was a 2 hour wait and we didn t have a problem with that. The high schooler behind the counter acted like she didn t want to be there and was super rude. Come to find out we weren t even put in the wait list! We waited 3 hours for a bay even tho they had several open. I had to go back to guest services to finally get into a bay. The bartender even told us that we were next on list so she lied to us because we weren t even on the list. Once we got into the bay none of our cards worked and we had about an hour till they closed. The server acted super rushed with us. She mentioned that buckets were half off but we were charged full price in the bar. Kinda bummed... told the manager and he seemed to just brush it off. Hopefully I ll have a better experience next time.

A little confusing at first. I didn't get my player card and you NEED IT so don't forget it! Staff was really helpful! And the waitress we had was really cool! Even when my friend's son threw his club from the 3rd floor! Awesome atmosphere.

It was a fun group outing.
The nacho buffet was good. Meat was tough and could of been shredded better to avoid the chunks of meat. It was like putting a pork chop on top of chips.
The staff who took care of us were super friendly. Great selection of beverages to choose from.

We had fun here! It s like bowling but with golfing. Beware it s a busy and hopping place! Expect a long wait, which works out since there are a bunch of TVs and food and drinks to keep you entertained. The only irritating thing was that we were asked by multiple people to show IDs when ordering drinks, which isn t a bad thing, but it would have been nice to have wrist bands or stamps indicating 21 and over during the 2 hour wait because we moved around a lot from downstairs bar, to upstairs bar, to the bay. We will be visiting again!

Visited here for Father's day and had a blast. It great for all skill levels and all ages. My wife has never golfed before, but still had fun. We golfed with our 3 kids (youngest is 4) and retired father in law. I don't know many entertainment options that can be this much fun for all of us. Can't wait to go back and play around with the range option that shows ball flight, speed and many more stats.

Golfing here is a blast and it is enjoyable for experienced and non-experienced golfers! Clubs are provided free of charge. Hourly rates are reasonable if you bring a larger group. Great Shots collects most of its income from alcohol sales as they jack up the prices for drinks, but it's understandable. $5 for a tall can of beer. Been here several times and will definitely be returning.

We've always seen this place in the distance while traveling up and down I-29 and always wondered what it was so we deviated from our normal trip home one day and let me tell you... it was totally worth it. I don't golf and neither does my mother but we had a blast at this place. Nice staff, nice bar, great drinks. The driving range was a blast. They have a MASSIVE big screen at the bar inside. You need to experience this place at least once if you're nearby. Highly recommend it.

Great service from waiters. Golf activities vary and high skill doesn't mean that you win the game. Love this part because my skill is very low so I have a chance to win against pro friends.
