Marie Gabriel Couture Review

I think I've found my dress! My coworker found her dress here as well. They have many options and greeeeat customer service. I let Ms. Celeste Narvaez (soon to be Mrs.) know what price range I wanted to stay in and showed her several dresses that I liked in the store. She was super patient with me, even though I was late && it was just one hour to closing. After listening and seeing my style she brought a bunch of options and stayed within my budget. I would recommend this place to everyone! Sometimes it's hard to get your stylist on the phone though, but I know it's because when they are servicing a bride, they are REALLY servicing a bride.

I dreaded wedding dress shopping more than any part of the planning process. I had gone to a few stores and had come out extremely discouraged. I had tried on about 20 dresses and I didn't like any of them. Nothing fit and I had even gotten stuck it a dress at another store. I came to Marie Gabriel Couture as a last chance to see if I could turn my experience around. I met with Nykki, a bubbly friendly bridal consultant who I clicked with right away. She was totally understanding of the problems I had been having and listened to my concerns. We walked around the store and picked out a few dresses, I tried on around 6 before I found it. It was perfect in every way, it was everything I imagined and totally unexpected all at the same time. I was so excited I started jumping up and down and crying and all the girls in the store became extremely happy with me. This store made such a wonderful impression and I would recommend it to EVERYONE. Beautiful store with beautiful dresses and beautiful people and customer service.

My experience at Marie Gabriel Couture was AMAZING....not only was it my first time looking at gowns, but I ending up buying the very first dress I tried on. Maria was super thorough in understanding the vibe and look I wanted for our wedding. The whole staff was so helpful - highly recommend!

With everything being shutdown and postponed due to COVID-19, my fiance and I were unsure of our ability to get married on our original wedding date. The military was taking him out of the country for the next few years and his ability to come back became uncertain with countries going on lock down. So, we made the decision to move up the ceremony... as in, it would be only a couple months away. The original dress I bought would not come in until three months after the new wedding date, and I had already made a large payment on it! However, the staff at Marie Gabriel (Leigh was my consultant and she is incredible) was willing to allow me to find a new dress, buy it off the rack, and put the down payment I had made on the first dress towards the new one. Not only was I able to find a stunning dress that I love even more, but the way Marie Gabriel handled the situation made me believe that this business is truly there for the bride. I recommend Marie Gabriel to everyone who truly wants to experience phenomenal customer service with a vast selection of gorgeous designer dresses.

I'd always heard scare stories of wedding dress shopping: too overwhelming, too many choices, too much pressure, stressful and complicated, sticker shock, etc. Imagine my delighted surprise when, by contrast, my experience at Marie Gabriel Couture was NONE of those! Instead, I felt relaxed the entire time, listened to, respected, and valued. I was given just enough options to feel like I had excellent choices, but not so many that I was completely overwhelmed. The stylist I worked with respected my wishes and my tastes while encouraging me to try on one or two styles I hadn't considered before, and only showed me options within my price range. As I tried on each dress, I received encouraging feedback without feeling like I was being "convinced" to fall in love with one dress or another. My parents, who attended with me, also felt completely relaxed and, as I was totally taken care of by the stylist, they got to sit back and just relax and enjoy the experience. I didn't know I'd find my dress that day, but the choice was obvious, and I selected and purchased my dress within two hours. This was a month ago, and I'm still giddy about my dress, have zero regrets, and am so happy I went to Marie Gabriel Couture. I HIGHLY recommend them if you want to feel relaxed, beautiful, supported, and cared for during your wedding dress shopping experience.

I LOVED my experience at Marie Gabriel. I came with my mother-in-law and we unfortunately arrived about 20 minutes late due to traffic. However, when I walked in they made sure I was taken care of right away. I worked with Leigh as my stylist and she was amazing. Within two minutes of meeting me, she knew exactly what type of dress I was envisioning. She was a great listener and made me feel like the most important thing was finding a dress that I loved. This was my first experience trying on dresses anywhere and I was not anticipating finding my dress, but once I got there and started working with Leigh I did not want to leave without one! Additionally, they were very accommodating because my mom and sisters could not make the appointment. Leigh assured me that I could bring them back and try on the dress for them so that they felt like part of the experience too. Leigh was also super conscious about my budget and what I wanted to spend. She made sure I knew the prices and did not hide anything! It was just such an amazing day! When I found my dress and Leigh paired it with the perfect veil, there were several associates standing there, supporting me, and telling me that I looked beautiful. I felt so beautiful and happy and I hope every bride gets that feeling because it was amazing. Thank you Marie Gabriel!!

You are sure to find exactly what you want at this location! They have such a large selection! I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and they were able to give me plenty of options. Leigh was great at listening to my likes and dislikes on the dresses that I tried on. She was able to guide me to my dream dress!

Our experience here was horrible. Albeit we were late for our appt. however we called ahead and asked if we should reschedule but they indicated it was no problem. I find it amazing that you would walk into a retail shop indicating that you are willing to spend thousands of dollars and then are provided with poor customer service. My daughter had wanted to come to this particular boutique to view Hayley Paige dresses. Upon arrival the staff seemed pleasant enough but it quiickly turned into a hard sell approach. Not only did the consultant tell my daughter basically that she knew better than her what she wanted, she refused to even allow her to consider entire styles all together! She scoffed at some of her choices then told her she wasn't going to play dress up with her unless she was headed in a specific direction, this comment after she had only tried on four dresses. Less then 15 minutes into our appt the music was turned off even though the store was an hour away from closing. When my daughter or I would say we didn't like a dress she was wearing the consultant would work to try and convince her to like it. Then a Hayley Paige dress over 4000 that my daughter wanted to try on she basically said no you won't like that. My daughter was kind but indicated she was done and wasn't wanting to make a decision on any of the other dresses. The consultant lashed back with you aren't ready as you really don't know what you want and friend to friend ( not a friend ) you need to stop trying.on dresses. All this occurred in 45 minutes. After we left my daughter indicated that her consultant attempted to negate my opinions by whispering behind my back even when she told her she trusted my opinion! How ridiculous I was paying the bill! I feel sorry for the customers that give into these hard sales tactics and end up with a dress they were bullied into buying. We will not be back and instead visit other vendors for the same dresses.

I had an amazing experience at Marie Gabriel Couture and would recommend it to all brides! I ended up finding my dream dress and it was the first dress I tried on - all thanks to their amazing stylists and dress selection!!

This place is amazing! I went dress shopping on my birthday and was greeted with champagne and cupcakes! I worked with Young and her level of customer service and professionalism is definitely unmatched. The whole staff was friendly and helpful and definitely made my birthday one of the best ones yet. Young had a vast selection of dresses available at every price point. I would definitely recommend going here to anyone!

I had the absolute best experience here! I found my dream dress and my consultant gave me dresses to try on in a range of prices within my budget. She did not just try to put me in the dresses at the top of my budget. She listened to what I wanted and what I needed in a dress and let me pick out dresses to try on as well. She was fun and didn't rush us at all or pressure us. She gave us her honest opinion about everything from the veil to the belt. She even waited for me after my bridesmaids surprised me with letters to read before trying anything on! It was a wonderful appointment!

This salon is simply amazing! Their selection is all-encompassing, fresh, and so empowering. I am a bride in between a bridal gown size 18 and 20, and the stylist and owner made me feel so beyond comfortable clipping and holding the dresses in place so I could see the shapes and how they would truly look on me. The atmosphere of the salon is light and airy, relaxed and opulent.

I fell in love with a dress but needed one detail added to truly "say yes to the dress" without feeling any regrets. Our appointment time had ended and instead of pressuring me into a choice they could see I was uneasy with, the the stylists urged me to head to lunch with my entourage and come back later that day to really dive into the alteration I was wanting. We had lunch and tried a couple other salons but nothing was coming close to any of the gowns I tried on at Marie Gabriel's. When I returned to the salon after basically spending all day growing more and more discouraged, I was greeted again by the owner who sat us down at another fitting room and started pulling more gowns for me to try on! I definitely did NOT expect the extra time to try on gowns, I couldn't express to them enough my gratitude for the opportunity. They pulled two dresses that made me completely forget the original dress I had come back to alter and the third dress simply FLOORED me. The owner and my original stylist from my morning appointment made me feel truly special and I am extremely thankful for their generosity and kindness. There is a huge difference between paying for a VIP experience at salons and walking in having never tried on wedding dresses and truly experiencing the utmost respect and desire from the entire Marie Gabriel staff to not just find you the perfect wedding dress but make you feel like a complete work of art both inside and out.

I called at 12:05 ish on a Sunday to see if they could get me in for a last minute appointment. I was expecting to be told no, but instead she asked me how long it would take me to get there because they had an appointment at 12 that was available. So we got right in the car and headed over there. Brianna was awesome and it felt as though she immediately understood my style and what I was looking for. She never pressured me to try anything I didn't want to even if the reason was "I'm just not crazy" about it. That being said she encouraged me to try on something that wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but still thought was cool. I ended up buying that "wildcard" dress and am so excited to wear it at my wedding. I've seen some negative reviews of Maria's so I just wanted to share that they are nothing like what I experienced. I never felt awkward for being late, my budget, style, etc. It was the best wedding dress store I went to hands down.

Service was phenomenal, facility is gorgeous and the dress selection is incredible! Walking in, I was intimidated thinking my more average budget would leave me limited at such a high-quality store but they cater to a wide range of tastes and budgets. The assistant, Celeste, was extremely friendly, genuine and a great help for structuring my thought process of what I did or didn't like about each dress. She encouraged me to spend time in each dress to let them "sink in" and was happy to switch me back in and out of dresses even after I'd already tried them on. After trying on several dresses, she had a good read on my personality and preferences, and she picked out a dress I'd passed over on the hanger. I'd tried on dozens of dresses at other stores and none of them compare to the Pronovias I ordered from Celeste and Marie Gabriel. I feel so lucky to have given this boutique a shot and grateful for the astounding service provided. My advice is to definitely shop around, but definitely put Marie Gabriel on your list. I look forward to working with MG as our wedding approaches and my dress arrives!

Daughter found her wedding dress there on her first day, first store. They were very helpful and courteous.

I had the most incredible time at Marie Gabriel Couture! They were incredibly helpful and attentive when I shared my vision for my wedding. Mackenzie helped me out and she did an INCREDIBLE job at picking dresses that made me look great and also lined up with what I envisioned in my head. I had a list of things I was looking for in my dress and she made sure the selections she picked all had elements of what I wanted. I ended up going with the second dress I tried on there (that s how great they are they're good at their jobs!) they were also extremely personal and didn t try to convince me of things, they just really wanted me to be in love with the dress I chose. The dress selection was very large which reassured me I could try on almost anything! This made me feel like I wasn t missing out on trying on dresses at other places (because they have it all!) 10/10 would recommend if you re looking for a place with the whole works!

I love Marie Gabriel Bridal Couture! All my bridesmaid dress and my mother's dress of was bought there. I am also going to go there to get my designer wedding gown altered. They have lots of beautiful selections of wedding dresses, bridesmaids, and mother of the bride dresses. They really make the appointment special for you and whomever else is with you. They ladies are so sweet and fun that you almost forget you just met them. I have so much fun when I'm there and the ladies just brighten my day! Not to mention, I am a Lazaro bride and Marie Gabriel Bridal Couture has the best selection in Indiana!! You'd have to go to Chicago to see the selection of designer gowns that they have! I stopped by just to look, not expecting to be able to afford anything, and ended up with my dress! Staff is fantastic. I left feeling excited and beautiful.

I had the opportunity to visit Marie Gabriel Couture during its opening weekend in January. The store layout is beautiful with lots of natural light to see every detail on the gowns. Guiseppe Pappini was still in the store from Italy, so it was an honor to meet him and discuss the fit and look of the dresses as I was trying them on. Michelle Espinoza, one of the bridal consultants, and Christanne Siamas, the floor manager, both helped during my appointment. They both pulled gowns that were exactly how I described, but my favorite ended up being one of the gowns they selected that was different than what I was looking at originally. I couldn't be more thankful for help and advice everyone in the store gave. If you are a bride searching for a dress in Indianapolis, you MUST see the gowns at Marie Gabriel. You may end up finding the dress of your dreams!

Maria was my stylist and she made finding my dress a wonderful experience! She really listened to what I envisioned and found dresses that gave me variety while fitting my wants. I ended up picking THE FIRST DRESS I tried on that she picked out! I tried of several other beautiful dresses, but kept coming back to the first one. Safe to say, she nailed it!

I said YES at Marie Gabriel and they made it easy! This was my very first bridal appointment, and Leigh and Anne-Marie were beyond helpful overall, not to mention their expert styling tips and knowing exactly what dresses to pull for me based on a few key words and descriptions I gave them. My experience at MGC started out amazing and went down hill from there. Today I tried my dress on for the first time after ordering it, and instead of happy tears I was crying in absolute disappointment. The dress was so large I was not even able to tell what it looked like unless someone was holding it in 4 different places. I have not lost weight since being measured, I have in fact gained weight. I asked what the next step would be and the owner informed myself and my mother that they would not be moving forward unless I was to purchase another dress. They informed of this and as I was walking back to the dressing room so upset she had the audacity to correct how I was walking because I could damage the dress that they made clear they would not take back!! To top this horrendous experience off, when asked if we could try on something new they reacted with no regard for the fact that my mother drove 4 hours to see her daughter in a beautiful wedding dress, and said that I was too emotionally unstable to try anything else on. If you d like to be treated like dirt, your money thrown away and your wedding planning turned into a nightmare- go ahead and use Marie Gabriel Couture.

I came from another appointment and I was blown away by the way Marie Gabriel Couture made me feel. In comparison to where I was before. The other place was doing two brides at one time... I was put on the back burner more times than one. I had two different people going back and forth trying to help me but not knowing what I wanted. The vibe I got from Marie Gabriel was amazing. I loved the way Kim made me feel like I was extra special. She helped me envision my perfect dress, she asked questions and genuinely cared about my response. She helped me get into and out of each dress fast and painless. She really was amazing and she made my experience so much better. I am forever grateful I chose to go to Marie Gabriel and I said YES to my perfect dress for my most perfect day. Plus they surprised us with complimentary champagne to celebrate.

I came into Marie s pretty frustrated and sure I wasn t going to find my dress having already tried several on and not feeling any excitement. My consultant, Vedorian, asked me so many questions to see why I was frustrated with previous dresses and to understand what I was looking for. She had me walk around the entire salon and just touch dresses to see what textures and fabrics I was attracted to. Every dress that V pulled and had me try on felt so good and made me feel like a princess in the best way. She was so patient in listening to my opinion and feelings on each dress. My mom lives out of town and I wanted her to see it. Plus I really didn't think dress shopping could be that easy...so I left empty handed that day. The rest of the week was spent running to 8 other stores in the Indianapolis area. Yes, 8! Nothing could beat that dress and NO other store came even close to the experience I had at Marie Gabriel. I felt so beautiful there. Save your time and disappointment. You won't find ANYTHING better!!!

And the inventory was second to none in Indianapolis - they had so many options that were all within my budget and dress style/inspiration. I m so grateful to Lauren and the rest of the staff for helping me find the perfect fit for me.

This Place has every Wedding dress you could possibly think of, but the thing that sold it for me was KAYLA. I went to 2 other bridal boutiques, but never fell in love with the dress (looking back it was my experience and my specialist I was with); but Kayla not only thought of my style and body type, but she made me feel great and pushed for what I loved. I have ZERO reservations like I had at the other 2 places and CANNOT WAIT to see my dress when it comes in. If you schedule an appointment, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND ASK KAYLA HIGHLEY!

I had been to one other place before I first went to Marie Gabriel. The way the staff welcomes you into their shop made me feel like they had been waiting all day to meet me! They listened to my ideas, I pulled up my pinterest wedding page to give them an idea, and they went right to work picking out dresses. They add all the details, such as veils, jewelry to each dress so you can see it's potential. I ended up finding the most magical dress there that day, and really appreciated the fact that they let my matron of honor take pictures.

The following week, my mother and I went from shop to shop trying on dresses, and not one store matched the customer service and quality I found at Marie Gabriel. We actually walked out of one shop because of their terrible customer service.

Our last stop of the day was Marie Gabriel again. When we walked in, it was like seeing family. The staff remembered me, and hugged me and gushed to my mom about the dress I had tried on a week prior. When I put the dress back on, I loved it just as much as I did the first time, and my mom's face even lit up. We all knew this was the one!

MGC is the place to go for the dress of your dreams! I told my stylist Nicole a few huge points for me (like I wanted sleeves) but other than that I trusted her to pull whatever she felt would be best. And wow she nailed it. Every dress I tried on had something outstanding about it, and looked AMAZING on me. She truly listened and used her expertise to get me in the dress of my dreams AND under my budget. I said yes to the third one I tried one, ever. It s actually one I would ve never chosen for myself too. Having never stepped foot in a bridal store, I was nervous I would be pressured to spend more but that definitely wasn t the case. Thank you MGC for making my experience amazing. My mothers and sister all enjoyed their time at MGC too!

The ladies at Marie-Gabriel are absolutely amazing! Young has done an excellent job of training her staff to really focus on the bride and give her a wonderfully personalized experience. I went in with a very specific idea of the kind of dress that I wanted and a very specific budget. Vedorian, or "V" (as she preferred), listened to my descriptions of what I wanted in my dress and in our wedding in general and asked all the right questions to obtain a perfect understanding of what I was looking for. After we discussed my preferences, V took me around the salon to browse, all the while pointing out gowns that she felt matched my idea (by the way, she was right on point). She was also very mindful of my budget and was straight forward with me when I stopped to look at anything that was outside of it. To clarify, I did not take this as condescending or mean, but instead that she was looking out for my best interest since my budget was solid with no room to exceed it.

Once we began trying on the gowns we had chosen (it's all about you here, they carry all the gowns to your very own fitting room and help you in and out of them!), V was very focused on my opinions and reminding me to look at myself (I had a habit of immediately turning toward my entourage to see their reactions). I think many brides sometimes forget that the most important opinion about their dress is their own! I think this is also a good time to say that I brought 7 people with me, 3 of which were under ten years old and the staff really made us feel so welcome and even helped entertain the three little girls that eventually started to get a little bit bored.

Additionally, V was completely honest with me about how I looked in each gown. She gave me an opportunity to develop my own opinion and then would provide her expertise by focusing my attention to certain aspects of each gown that matched or were different than what I originally wanted. I love how she and the staff were able to keep me and my entire entourage focused without making us feel rushed.

I did find my perfect dress and veil at Marie-Gabriel and everyone was so pleasant with us even through the payment process! They did suggest jewelry and some other accessories, but when I declined, they accepted and did not try to push me to purchase anything I did not want (this can be rare when shopping in a bridal salon). I want to send Young, Vedorian, and all the staff at Marie-Gabriel my very sincerest thanks for making me feel special and beautiful and for helping me with one of the most important purchases I will make!

To emphasize the personalized service of this salon, I would also like to mention that within a week of visiting, I received a thank you card from Marie-Gabriel with a personalized note from my consultant, Vedorian. This salon truly knows how to make a bride feel special!

This store had the best selection of any others I looked at in town. Very sweet staff who seemed to be genuinely interested in me, my family, and my wedding. My gown was beautiful!

Marie Gabriel Couture Bridal was the first and only place I tried on wedding dresses. Yes, it truly is THAT great of an experience! The MGC Bridal team is so incredibly talented. A big shout out to Vedorian who picked out the dress I will be wearing on my wedding day! She was so attentive and sweet to myself, my mom and sister. When pulling dresses for me to try on, she really listened to me when it came to the styles of dresses I liked, but also made me try a few dresses outside of my comfort zone (which I needed). Looking at so many wedding dresses can be overwhelming, but Vedorian made it a breeze! She was also very mindful of staying within my budget. She ended up finding me a dress that completely exceeded my expectations. I cannot recommend MGC Bridal enough. Very disappointed with the experience here. They didn t care that we found the right dress, all they care about is making a sale. They told us to cancel our other appointments and put an enormous amount of pressure on buying a dress in that moment. Loved every other place we went to besides this one.

Love love love Marie Gabriel! Drove nearly three hours to visit, and it was well worth it! Everyone made me feel so comfortable and the dresses were absolutely gorgeous. They were lovely. I was slightly turned off at the other reviews about being to pushy but I didnt feel the slightest bit uncomfortable. My constant was supper sweet and tried to meet my needs as best as she possibly could. I felt she listened to everything I said and took it into account while pulling out more dresses. Loved it.

Kate, the District Manager, helped me this previous weekend.... and I must say I had an AMAZING experience! The day before I went to Sophias and bought a dress. Then when I got home I had MAJOR dress regret.. I found it to be yellowish and more offwhite than normal. I was so upset! I called Marie Gabriel the next day and they were able to get me in that day. I have been to over 5 dress shops/boutiques in the past 6 months and some were terrible, some were okay, and some were good.. but Marie Gabriel Couture was hands down the best. I went in wanting an A line dress, but Kate suggested I keep my options open. Let s just say she knew exactly what I needed! She found me a dress that exceeded my expectations, and so much more. Just save yourself time and a headache, and go here only! You won t regret it! I m very thankful for MGC and Kate!!

After a horrible experience at Bridal Superstore, we drove across the street and had a wonderful experience at Marie Gabriel Couture. Not only did they allow us to just walk-in without an appointment, but they picked out some amazing gowns for my bride-to-be friend - including "the one"! The quality of the gowns were amazing and the staff was amazingly friendly and welcoming to us and my 2 week old daughter!

Marie Gabriel was the first place I went to look for my dress and I m so happy that I went there. I had a great experience with Leigh. She knew exactly what I was looking for from the get-go. The process of finding a dress was easy and stress free. The store was very clean and organized.

Great experience up until the end. I found a dress that I really liked for around $2,700 but I really wanted one night to think it over. The person helping me seemed frustrated when I told her I wouldn't be purchasing it right then and informed me that I would miss out on a 10% discount if I didn't purchase it that day. I told her that was okay. I then requested that she please write down the dress price for me and the cost to expedite it. She agreed until we walked to the front of the store. She then informed me that she couldn't give me any information to take home and I would have to get it when I called the next day to purchase the dress. It was a really disappointing end to the night. I felt pressured and that they were a bit rude in the end. I will be buying elsewhere because any of the other bridal stores were more than willing to give me the info and time to consider such an important purchase!

Seriously could not have had a better experience wedding dress shopping!! Maria was incredible to work with and made my first (and last!) wedding dress shopping experience completely stress-free and exactly what I wanted. I did not feel rushed at all, and she did a great job picking things that fit my body type, style, and budget. I ended up being super under budget with a dress I absolutely love. I am recently engaged and my fist time trying on dresses was at Marie Gabriel with Peggy. She took the time to listen to what I thought I wanted, but also, had some ideas based on my body. I am very chesty with wide hips and was scared to try on dresses because I thought they wouldn't fit. Peggy made me feel absolutely beautiful. I found my dress that day, but thought it would be good to visit a few more places in the area just to see what was around. It was a waste of time.

No other boutique had the level of service or knowledge and expertise of Peggy and the Marie Gabriel team. Also, the selection of dresses is vast and stunning.
