Our experience here was horrible. Albeit we were late for our appt. however we called ahead and asked if we should reschedule but they indicated it was no problem. I find it amazing that you would walk into a retail shop indicating that you are willing to spend thousands of dollars and then are provided with poor customer service. My daughter had wanted to come to this particular boutique to view Hayley Paige dresses. Upon arrival the staff seemed pleasant enough but it quiickly turned into a hard sell approach. Not only did the consultant tell my daughter basically that she knew better than her what she wanted, she refused to even allow her to consider entire styles all together! She scoffed at some of her choices then told her she wasn't going to play dress up with her unless she was headed in a specific direction, this comment after she had only tried on four dresses. Less then 15 minutes into our appt the music was turned off even though the store was an hour away from closing. When my daughter or I would say we didn't like a dress she was wearing the consultant would work to try and convince her to like it. Then a Hayley Paige dress over 4000 that my daughter wanted to try on she basically said no you won't like that. My daughter was kind but indicated she was done and wasn't wanting to make a decision on any of the other dresses. The consultant lashed back with you aren't ready as you really don't know what you want and friend to friend ( not a friend ) you need to stop trying.on dresses. All this occurred in 45 minutes. After we left my daughter indicated that her consultant attempted to negate my opinions by whispering behind my back even when she told her she trusted my opinion! How ridiculous I was paying the bill! I feel sorry for the customers that give into these hard sales tactics and end up with a dress they were bullied into buying. We will not be back and instead visit other vendors for the same dresses.
