What an amazing experience! I bought my dress here almost a year ago and I never stopped hearing how one-of-a-kind it looked!! Even more fabulous than the dresses were the people! I purchased a wedding dress from Marie Gabriel and spent close to $4000 on it. When it arrived in the mail, the dress did not appear like the dress I tried on in the store. The material felt cheap, it already had a button that had fallen off, and the sheer fabric made my skin breakout in a rash.

I contacted the manager about the disappointment in the product, and they refused to return or exchange the dress. They simply said that it is an easy fix to put a button on and the dress just needed steamed. The dress was in such poor quality that I could not even wear the dress to my wedding..... $4000 for nothing.... incredibly disappointed in the product and customer service.... I definitely would not recommend this place to any one.....

WOW! We have been looking for a wedding dress for a few weeks and Marie Gabriel was the last place that we went. So glad that we "Said Yes to the Dress" at Marie Gabriel. We were able to browse their large selection of bridal gowns with our bridal consultant. Jorie was our main consultant and her expertise was evident! She made sure the dress looked perfect and showed us how it would look in different colors and accessorized to see what it would look like all together. I felt bad that they stayed after closing time to help us. We never felt rushed or pressured. Customer service these days is almost non-existent, however, Jorie and her team were so awesome and they definitely understand wonderful customer service. They were so professional and I would highly recommend you to check out Marie Gabriel when looking for the perfect bridal gown for your important day. Also , loved that I received a 10 percent discount. Thanks again Jorie for making this experience so awesome! Your experience in the fashion industry is superb and your customer service is top-notch!

My experience at Marie Gabriel Couture was everything I was hoping for! I was very undecided on what I wanted when I started shopping for my dress, and my consultant, Leigh, was able to guide me in the right direction. She listened so well and let me try on some different styles, but ultimately led me to the perfect dress! Everybody is so friendly and really helped me put the entire picture together. I felt very pressured to like things I didn't like and was told this is the dress I need and well why dont you like this about this dress. I was practically pushed out of the salon because I couldn't find a dress. This lady just came into my room and cleared all my dresses out and said try on the one you like best I said this isn't it they said appointment over. Won't be returning here. - my budget was under 3

I had the absolute best time dress shopping here! I live in Memphis, my mom lives in Chicago, and we were meeting in Indianapolis to visit my brother at college and decided to do my first (and to be only) wedding dress shopping there! We made an appointment for a Sunday morning and when we came in were quickly taken care of by Lauren. We explained the fit, type, and budget for my dress and immediately were given a variety of options that fit my criteria. The third dress I tried on was the one! I tried on the remaining few but I knew it to be the dress. I was then fitted with a headpiece and veil that we bought. As we were always coming in from out of town to do fittings and alterations everyone was so accommodating and ensured I could pick up the dress when suited me. I wish I could do the whole process again! Oh yeah, and the dress I got? It was by the brand we had been eyeing online! They 100% know what they are doing!

I had such a wonderful experience shopping for my wedding dress at Marie Gabriel Bridal Couture. Marie Gabriel was the first (and only) bridal shop I visited because the dresses there were so beatiful I didn't need to go anywhere else! Marie Gabriel has a large selection of beautiful gowns and the accessories are phenomenal, as well.

The first thing you notice as you walk in is the amount of beautiful dresses in their boutique. They have one of the biggest collections of gowns for any bride and any taste. But after that moment ends, the real beauty of the experience begins. You are greeted with smiles and kindness and a genuine excitement they all have for your bridal journey. They listen to you and are great at reading what you re really looking for. I explained what I wanted and picked out things I was interested in but also wanted their ideas as well. My stylist was wonderful and I can t say enough about her enthusiasm for me. I adored her. But others came over to watch what I came out of the dressing room in too, and made me feel so special. And the owner came over often as well. Her creativity, advice and wisdom helped immensely. I kept saying I wanted them all there on my wedding day! This is my second wedding and I ve also been through wedding dress shopping with both of my girls. I ve never had a bad experience but today was by far the best wedding dress shopping experience I ve ever had. They have all helped me begin making my wedding dreams come true. I can t wait to continue it with them.

I called Marie Gabriel Couture and explained that I had been to 5 shops and had yes to put on a single dress that was flattering. With full confidence she assured me that would not be the case if I gave her employees the chance to help me. After arriving, Kayla looked at the dresses I thought were beautiful and directed me as to what would be best for my body type. The first dress I put on I couldn't stop smiling. The stylists at Marie Gabriel Couture are nothing short of brilliant. I am so thankful for their patience and assistance. I would recommend this place to any bride looking for the right dress!

I had an AMAZING time picking out my dress from Marie Gabriel. Every employee was attentive to my needs and they were all so friendly. The atmosphere is very elegant but they don't make you feel like you have to spend thousands of dollars. I found my dream dress in under an hour and the woman who helped me picked a dress that was perfect for my big day. I would suggest Marie Gabriel to all future brides.

I wish I could fully describe how amazing my experience at Marie Gabriel Couture was. I chose Marie Gabriel because they are the only bridal salon in Indiana with Hayley Paige dresses- I love HP for her personal style, spunky personality and dresses that have a little sparkle, but not way too much sparkle. By the way- we brought our own bubbly and we were able to drink it throughout the fitting which was so fun!! Anyway, Maria was my stylist and she was absolutely wonderful. Prior to the appointment, I d had my eye on a certain dress for months. I tried it on first and loved it. The second dress I tried on, both moms loved it and they loved it more than the first. I didn t hate it, but I wasn t sure about it- I tried on other dresses. Also, they provided heels to really give the full effect which was super nice! We later decided to put the first dress on again. Then we put the second dress on. Again, both moms still loved it, more than the first. Maria could tell I didn t love the second dress and in the NICEST most polite way, where the moms couldn t hear, told me she thought I was trying to make myself fall in love with the second dress because the moms liked it the best. Then, I put the first dress back on. By the way- the two dresses were different silhouettes and Maria was awesome at explaining how each would need to be altered for my body. After a few minutes of being back in the first dress, I began crying, that was the dress, that was the one. Maria was so right- I was definitely trying to make myself fall in love with the second dress because the moms loved it but it just wasn t the one for me. I m so happy Maria made that one comment, she truly helped me in the best way possible throughout the entire appointment. At the end, the moms ended up deciding they loved the first dress the best and we purchased it!! Also, Maria helped me pick out earrings that matched the dress PERFECTLY which is a relief- one more thing happily crossed off my to-do list!! I can t urge you enough to visit Marie Gabriel Couture If you purchase a dress, I promise buying earrings there is so much easier because you can try them on while wearing the dress!!

Initially the appointment went well, but it quickly downgraded once I was trying on gowns. The girls and owner were both pushy and fake (increasingly so as the time went on). They would say "Oh you are smiling so much, that must be the one!", as if it were a pre-recorded things they each had to say to me to encourage my buying.
The consultant would help me change into gowns, BUT kept leaving the curtains open, leaving me (in just my undergarments) visible to another bridal family across the shop who could see me EVERY time. I was constantly embarrassed for myself and them. My decency was not cared for and they left me standing there for long periods of time while they talked about my dresses or tailoring options with the curtain open, all while I was exposed to the store for viewing. I had no where to feel comfortable. Aside from not caring for my privacy or decency, the appointment was fine until we got down to the final two choices. Neither of which I was interested in because of a handful of important changes that were going to cost a lot in tailoring. They also put me in gowns outside my price point without telling me, which was frustrating. They would not let me use my own shoes to try on gowns. I was forceful to tell them that I did not want to buy a gown after being surrounded by 4 consultants, each of which made me feel more and more terrible for criticizing what didn't work for me in the gown. They wanted to make the sale, they were fake and pushy (even the owner) by the end, and were not kind when we left. I would not recommend them to another bride. They get 2 stars because their designer stock and quality of dresses was worth the trip, despite the treatment and disinterest in me as a human.

I never thought that I would have the perfect "Say yes!" moment, but I actually did here!
Celeste was my consultant, though all of the girls in the shop continuously complimented the dresses I tried on, took pictures for me, and helped when and where they could. The prices there range from about $1,000-$7,500, my budget being $1,500. I was not at ALL pressured to try on more expensive dresses. Going in I really had no expectations to find a gorgeous dress since I was at the bottom of their price range- I was SO wrong. Every dress I tried on was beautiful, not a dress in there that looked cheap. My dress is an all-over lace in blush with an open back right at $1,500. To me, it looks like a $5,000 dress that I could only dream of on Pinterest. After I said YES we had complimentary mimosas and started working on the logistics. I only went to a couple other shops, but this was by far the best. If you can fit it in your budget and on your schedule then I really encourage you to go and see this shop and their gorgeous dresses!

She was efficient but never rushed me, kept me on track with finding the PERFECT dress that not only fit my body but my personality, venue and overall fabric feel. I had a fantastic experience at Marie Gabriel and could not recommend it more highly in terms of selection, service, and safety. I had gone to two different boutiques in Denver, CO (where I live) and thought I had found my dress, but wanted to go dress shopping with my family in Indiana so came to Marie Gabriel. Not only did they have the dress I originally liked, but they pulled several others that they thought would be a good fit. They were absolutely spot-on in their selections. They found me the perfect dress from the same designer I originally loved, which I hadn't seen anywhere else. I really appreciated their honesty and candour too -- they never tried to upsell, and have been incredibly flexible and communicative given everything going on with COVID. I'm so thankful I waited to try on dresses in Indiana -- thanks Marie Gabriel!

Marie Gabriel was the first place I tried on wedding dresses. I felt nervous at the beginning of the day but Peggy, my consultant, made me feel very comfortable. She listened to my ideas of my perfect wedding dress and was able to find it within her first round of pulling dresses. I still had two other appointments that day and did not want to cancel. I went to those and none of the experiences even came close to the feeling that Marie Gabriel gave me. I went back to buy the dress later that day. When I walked in they had a picture of me in the dress on the big screen. Peggy gave me a big hug and let me try on the dress again. They never rushed me even though it was getting close to closing.

All in all, they care about how you look and feel just as much as you do. I would highly recommend Marie Gabriel for brides searching for a wedding dress!

From the time I stepped foot into Marie Gabriel Couture bridal boutique I felt like I was a VIP customer. We were greeted immediately at the door, directed to a comfortable spot to fill out paper work, asked if we needed any refreshments and then introduced to our bridal consultant Peggy Latta.

Peggy sat with me and listened to how I imagined I would look on my wedding day and then guided me through the dresses, asking me what I like or did not like about each one. They re selection was amazing! Beautiful gowns that were different and unique. We pulled approx. 5 dresses and I ended up buying the first one! Peggy was very professional and knowledgeable; she was pleasant and genuinely wanted to help me find the perfect dress. I would highly recommend Marie Gabriel Couture bridal boutique for the a perfect and complete bridal gown experience.

I had the best experience here. I came here right after going to a "bridal superstore" type of place. It was a complete 180. Peggy, and the other reps, really made it their goal to learn about me and understand exactly what I want even before I came in for my appointment. I wasn't limited to what I could try on, and there were a couple times where if I liked something, she would run out and get something similar that she thought I might like better. I felt like she would spend her entire day making sure I got the dress that was perfect for me, which she did!

I feel like I'm getting not only a better quality dress, but I got to have a better quality experience overall when shopping for the most important dress of my life!

I don t normally write reviews, but my experience at MGC was so phenomenal I had to say something. I literally bought my dress yesterday, and it was one of the most memorable, wonderful moments I ve had so far in my life. Celeste made this experience for me and my family so perfect. Not only were the gowns gorgeous, the customer service provided from Celeste was so sincere. MGC actually wants you to look and feel like a queen. Now, while my mindset was never you better make me feel like a princess - the genuine treatment by Celeste and the rest of the staff made me feel so special. 10/10 would recommend to a friend based on the kindness of the staff alone, add on some bomb gowns that knock people off their feet? 20/10 :) thank you Marie Gabriel for such a heartwarming, memorable experience!

Hands down an incredible experience! Celeste was the perfect bridal coordinator!! She was extremely professional and very personable during my appointment. She was very genuine when asking about my wedding day and vision for my dress. I felt as though she truly cared about me and my day! Celeste was very knowledgeable about the inventory and when describing what I wanted she hit the nail on the head pulling dresses! You can tell this is not just a job for her but a career that she loves! My mom and best friend also enjoyed her sense of humor and interaction as they helped me find my dress. At the end of the appointment we felt as though Celeste was a friend of the family, again an incredible experience that palyed HUGE part in making it a perfect shopping day for my dress!

I absolutely loved shopping at Marie Gabriel Bridal Couture with Peggy! I had never really looked or shopped for dresses before meeting her that day, but I absolutely loved it. She helped me find my dream dress & I cancelled my appointments at other shops for the day! I loved my experience at Marie Gabriel Couture. Kayla was helpful, easy to talk to and attentive! We talked over wedding details, and she walked my mother, future mother in law and I around the store to look at options/different dress types! This was frowned upon at other bridal boutiques I have went to. Everyone was very helpful! At one point Kayla was fixing my hair and another stylist was pinning my dress in the front! I truly feel like these girls are passionate about their jobs and want you to find the dress you love!!

I walked in and thought the store was gorgeous...I was excited because I saw the 360 degree mirrors and I had had previous not so great experiences so I was hoping this would be the one. My friend and I tried looking at dresses and we were sent to a little area to sit down. Once meeting the stylist, we walked around and looked at dresses. I tried picking ones out that I liked and asked if I could try on and I was told that I wasn't picking just looking. After being told to sit back down, the stylist went to choose dresses for me. I went into the dressing room.and none of the dresses I had asked to try on were in there. There were a lot of dresses that didn't look anywhere close to the things I had described. I tried to keep a positive attitude but the environment seemed very stressful and people were always looking. I really didn't like the dresses I tried on and felt pressured into buying a dress. I was told these were the best dresses around and was also told on the phone not to go to other boutiques because I would find my dress here. I got very anxious and just wanted to get out of there as soon as I could. I did not like the customer service and honestly I felt as if my stylist fekt very stressed and under pressure to sell a dress. I understand the businessb and know it's commission but iIfelt as if it was very tense and it's like I was being watched like a hawk. I didn't enjoy not being able to choose dresses to try on when I was the one who was going to be dropping tons of money. Just a poor atmosphere and customer service. I was not pleased and left very upset. I was so distraught when leaving here I didn't even want to go to another appointment because this was the third store I had been to with poor experiences. I was lucky enough to find my dress but would not recommend going here. Hopefully they will ease up a little because it could be a really nice experience! I was definitely bummed.

I had the best time at Marie Gabriel Couture Bridal! I felt fancy for the day which was the best. They are packed full of dresses and really helped stuck to my budget (we even got under which is a plus!) I worked with Nicole who listened exactly to what I wanted the dress to look and she pulled my dream dress in the first shot! When my party with me wasn t feeling the same way I was she help me try on other dresses but the whole time I knew exactly what I wanted. She stayed on my side the whole time! My consultant, Kayla was absolutely amazing. I brought several family members with me to the appointment and she was very accommodating with everyone. She made everyone feel welcomed and their opinions valued. I loved how all of the consultants worked together seamlessly to provide an impeccable experience for everyone involved. When I walked out of the dressing room in one dress, other consultants would clean the room and add/remove dresses according to what I was liking. It helped the appointment to progress quickly and be very productive. I felt like we moved forward with every dress and I was constantly able to keep figuring out what I liked and didn t like of various dresses. Overall, it was such a great experience, and I am so fortunate to have such a great bridal salon in my hometown.

Young and Anne-Marie run a phenomenal shop. This bridal shop is beyond anything I've seen in the Indianapolis area!! Incredible designer gowns, of course, and also incredible customer service. I had to buy a dress on a very short notice, due to my family circumstances, and they did everything possible to make it as easy and wonderful as possible. I will never forget the way they went above and beyond to accommodate my situation, and would recommend it for every bride out there. They also have a superb team of people who do alterations, who will add that couture touch. I personally worked with Vedorian, and she was sweet, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful in guiding me to THE dress for me. I cannot wait to wow everyone on my big day coming up here soon, and am so thankful that I got to have this experience with the wonderful ladies at Marie Gabriel!

One of my favorite bridal salons to visit! I had a great experience coming in first thing on a Sunday - I had the entire place to myself! I felt like a princess there and was so happy with my experience! I was able to get my dress earlier than expected and had wonderful customer experience!

I cannot say enough about how amazing of an experience we had here! The staff are so incredible and helpful. My sister was able to find exactly the dress she wanted and the staff made sure that was possible. They were extremely accommodating with scheduling fittings and picking up the dress for the wedding. They also did a great job steaming the dress in preparation for the wedding and made sure we knew exactly how to bustle the train on the dress. This store is amazing and I would highly recommend it!

The place is gorgeous and they were super kind and helpful. I came alone but all my family was in FaceTime. Lauren (she works in the store) hold the phone so my family can watch me and she took many pictures for me. Everyone was really helpful. I'm so glad I found this place!

I absolutely loved Marie Gabriel s. My Bridal Stylist Maria was the best. She listened to my wants/needs in my dress and picked the perfect selection for me. She was so sweet and even learned my style so quick she was able to not only help me find my wedding dress but also my reception dress! I honestly didn t think I was going to find my dress when I walked in but I m so happy my mom pushed me to come to this bridal store! They have some hidden gems! Had an absolutely wonderful experience here. I had a slightly larger group (six people) and they were very accommodating. I worked with Nykki, who was absolutely wonderful. I can't recommend her enough. She understood the style I was going for and worked to pick me the most perfect dress. She even had lots of suggestions on how I could make it my own while staying within my budget. I can't rave enough about my experience here!

This place was so welcoming from the get-go! Leigh listened to everything I had to say about what I was looking for and even encouraged me to try on some styles that I wasn t too fond of (not in a pushy way!) and I ended up walking out with a fitted gown that I never thought I d like. It s absolutely gorgeous! I had Leigh put the same three veils on me probably 20 times and she was so patient. The experience as a whole was fantastic. THANKS LADIES!!

Michelle at Marie Gabriel was absolutely fantastic; it made the wedding dress shopping experience something wonderful that I will never forget. Everyone was so helpful and really in tune with what I was looking for, they even went above and beyond my expectations. I really had a nice experience here with Peggy Latta as my personal assistant! She did a fantastic job of asking me questions, listening to what I wanted for my wedding, then finding something that fit my personality perfectly, even though I didn't have a very clear idea of what I wanted. She did an excellent job of guiding me into different styles and talking about how they could be altered to make something that was unique for me.

The shop itself is a lovely venue with gowns that I felt were much higher quality than some other places we looked at, and I didn't feel pressured into making a decision right away. The service was great, and all the employees were personable and cheerful. I would recommend this store highly to anyone who is wedding shopping!

I brought the dress there for my wedding in September. The dress was absolutely beautifule but the alteration was aweful. The way that they altered my dress wasn't fit me at all, then they blamed it on me that i gained weights. It's rediculous.

The staff were very attentive, detail oriented, and made my experience exceed my expectations. My consultant listened to what I wanted and kept my entourage engaged. She zeroed in on dream dress quickly. No stress, no pressure, and I didn't break the bank, and they made sure to stick with my budget. They never pushed me to spend more than what I wanted. I would reccomend this dress salon to everyone!

My experience with Marie Gabriel Couture was amazing. I had Vedorian as my stylist. She made me feel beautiful in every dress even if it wasn't a dress I didn't believe was my style. She listened to my comments on what I did and did not like in a dress. With every dress, she tried to find out what I liked and didn't like about a dress so that she could alter the options that I tried on. The salon was clean. When I went, I had the whole place to myself. It made me feel special and not over crowded. With Vedorian we found the perfect dress for me and I can't wait until my wedding day so I can show it off to all of our guests.

I recently purchased my wedding dress from Marie Gabriel and am very excited to wear it for my September wedding! Peggy, my consultant, was very good about listening to me and helping to find dresses close to my budget that really fit me as a bride. She walked through the store with me and let me pick out dresses that caught my eye, but also pulled a few she thought I should try. I appreciated the one-on-one attention, but it was not overwhelming or uncomfortable. When I told Peggy that this was my first time wedding dress shopping and felt as though I needed time to decide on my dress, she understood and even offered to stay late that evening in case I wanted to come back to purchase the one I liked. Though I did end up going to one more appointment, I returned later that day to purchase my dress from Peggy and Marie Gabriel! We were able to celebrate with champagne (which I certainly needed after being so worried about finding the right dress) and I can't wait to go back for my first fitting. Barring any complications with my fitting/alterations, I would certainly recommend Marie Gabriel to other brides.
