This is a great library. It's new, it's spacious, there's plenty of computer and internet access, a wide selection of DVD's and the staff if very helpful and accommodating. And the books? Oh yeah, the books. There is a wide variety of "New Releases" in both fiction and non-fiction. The library is part of the CLAN, or OSLRI (Ocean State Libraries) "connecting RI" network which means that you can request material from practically any library in the state and pick it up at the library of your choice. This service has been invaluable and so innovative. Oh, and the library is centrally located in the heart of Johnston, right next to the middle and high schools.

Depending on my schedule, I go to nunerous libraries throughout the state. This is by far the most disappointing one. The staff are as loud as if they are in a cafe. They yell across the library to one another, stand in the middle of the shelves and near the computers talking loudly about nonsense issues that one would discuss, oh, at the aforementioned cafe. The worst one was an older woman with dark, curly hair who introduced herself to somebody as being in charge.
Good luck if you want to get any reading or studying done in this LIBRARY!

Love the library if they could just fire the women...

Love the library if they could just fire the women at the checkout.they r super rude for no reason, every single time I go there.the children's room is great. So many negative comments, why r these women still there.I think we should call the head of the library and complain. Why should these witches be able to keep treating us like garbage.
