Very good hotel in New York, well located, clean and not very noisy. Perhaps what makes the most noise is like a kind of parking lot in front of you. The treatment of the staff and the hotel itself is great.
Room was alright. But charged a 25$ fee on top of the room rental. This fee gave me access to electricity, WiFi and two bottles of figi water. If you are going to charge money for a hotel that makes sense. But please don't advertise a room for $150 and end up charging me over $200 a night.
We have just got back from staying at The Marcel. We stayed for 4 nights for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. On arrival our room had been upgraded to a superior room, which had a balcony, there was also wine chilled and chocolate waiting for us. The staff of the hotel couldn't do enough to help you. The hotel is in a great location with some lovely bars and restaurants close by. I would highly reccomend a stay at The Marcel.
