We enjoyed our stay here. From calling the reservations to book to our departure, the entire team made us feel welcome. The landscaping is beautiful, the hotel is gorgeous and clean, the spa was amazing, and we enjoyed waking up having coffee and sitting by the fire place watching the snow fall. The buffet breakfast was adjusted to be COVID safe as a grab and go and it was delicious and had a lot of variety. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We really appreciated the welcome gift and hand-written card for our anniversary. The hotel is close to Vail village and was an enjoyable short walk. I would stay here over and over again, and cannot wait to come back.
My friends got married here, and it was a lovely venue. Very much enjoyed the stay.
My family and I have been staying here for decades! The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is attentive, and the pools are lovely in the summer!
They even accommodated my gluten free, vegan diet! And, during COVID! They made sure I had a nice little to go, hot breakfast every day.
It felt very safe COVID-wise.
They also upgraded our place and it was HUGE!
Just can t say enough good things. Thanks for another great visit.
We greatly enjoyed our experience at Vail Manor Lodge this month returning to Vail for the first time in a few years for a last-minute getaway from Texas heat. Called to check on availability of a river-side unit and Kris was awesome on reservations she was very detailed about what to expect and searched hard to find us exactly the right unit and even compared sight lines to the unit we stayed in before.
Check in was easy. Maggie at the front desk is so fun and friendly every day and brings a lot of charm to the experience. Parking was underground and a little tight for a big SUV but Charlie the maintenance guy/"valet" was very helpful getting us settled in.
We had a one-bedroom unit with a Murphy bed in the living room for our daughter. My favorite daily experience was drinking Morning coffee sitting on our first-floor porch watching the river flow by. Unit was clear and in good condition with appropriate kitchen supplies.
The price was an excellent value for Vail. We found the location to be ideal - on the edge of nature with Gore Creek running right in front of the rooms but also on the edge of Vail Village with easy access to the mountain. I really thought the guaranteed late checkout was a bargain - essentially gave us one more full day before we had to return Denver/DIA to prepare for an early AM flight. We are already Making reservations for our (3rd) return trip next month.
My family has been staying here for years. Staff is always very helpful, and the facilities are great. It s the best location for skiing, right next to Golden Peak.
The location can t be beat if you have kids going to the Golden Peak ski school. It s right across the street and the resort has valet service. The Lodge is an easy 10 minute walk from the Village. Very nice restaurant on premises. The staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Nice breakfast included in room price. Wish they had the omelette station all week instead of weekends only. The Betty Ford garden is next door. They had an amazing lights show display at night during our stay. Only issue we had was with the actual condo. You are at the mercy of the individual owners. Our unit, 275, was very dated, accommodates 3 people comfortably at the most and did not correspond to the platinum rating on the Lodge s web site and the gold rating on Expedia.
We have been visiting Manor Vail for years and always have the best time. The staff is amazing, always willing to help or guide, the location is perfect if you want to be a bit out of the fray of Vail Village. The flowers and landscaping are gorgeous and the pools are warm enough to swim all year round. The Fitz Restaurant has a solid menu for adults and kids, a shaded outdoor patio and live music. We're also a huge fan of the morning buffet (currently a grab-n-go and a great solution)!
Gore Creek runs along the back of the resort and is perfect for kids and fishing, while Ford Park and Gardens is a 10 minute walk - easily the best park in Vail. Bike paths and the shuttle are very accessible.
We can't wait to return!
