Very on the ball when I arrived at 8:00 the technician explaned what was going to be done to my Golf, then arranged my transport home and a time to be picked up for the return. The video of the safety check was good and we'll explained thank you Dan, my return pickup was spot on time.
The golf is running perfectly and valeted and polished to perfection.
What car polish do you use it's a fantastic Finnish?

Had two cars being serviced / repaired at Inchcape...

Had two cars being serviced / repaired at Inchcape this month. In both cases the customer service was impeccable. The staff (both Tamara and Jade) were friendly and helpful and gave more than was expected. The company has a very good culture and is to be highly recommended.

I have been an Inchcape customer for a good number of years, initially in Cirencester, and have always been most satisfied with both sales and service. Recently I used the "pick up and deliver" for the first time for my car's service. From the first telephone call to book the service to final delivery of the car to my home, each aspect could not be faulted. Thank you very much.

Recently required an urgent wheel change as I had ...

Recently required an urgent wheel change as I had cracked my alloy wheel and damaged the tyre. Was able to book car in next day (Tuesday) for a new wheel and tyre and wheel alignment. Sadly further damage was noted to the shock absorber, hub and lower arms. Car was taken back in the following day as parts needed to be ordered in. Collected car on the Wednesday evening and was back on the road working on Thursday. Excellent and speedy service give the circumstances. James Godwin and the mechanics, did as great job, James knew exactly what was happening with my car on the two occasions that I called in for an update.

As with all major branded outlets, I find VW Swind...

As with all major branded outlets, I find VW Swindon a bit pricey for routine servicing, spare parts etc - hence only 4 stars. That said, the reception and handling of any engagement with them is always a pleasure. Staff are efficient and friendly and the seating area with free coffee and Wi-Fi is a real plus.

I'm so pleased with the service offered by Swindon VW! It's improved loads over recent years too, I heartily recommend them. Communication on all levels is brilliant, they are timely, professional, helpful and give great customer service. I can't think of a better dealership.

We arrived late for our appointment with used car ...

We arrived late for our appointment with used car sales representative Stacey & he was very positive from the off considering our late arrival and put us at ease.Very knowledgable & opened up some possibilities that we hadn t considered previously.
Having completed a test drive organised by Stacey
We were introduced to Matt in new car sales representative and concluded a deal which was negotiated effectively.
Both representatives were courteous and helpful which allowed us to decide on the best decision for us.
Overall we had a positive experience would recommend thisVW dealership.

Recently purchased a new Up from VW Swindon. The service I received was absolutely excellent, with Sales Executive Micky Newman allowing us to have a test drive and explaining all the details of the Up range to us prior to us making a decision. Ultimately, we decided on a High Up model and are extremely pleased with our purchase. Micky organised all the paperwork and arranged to have our old part-exchange vehicle collected.
I cannot praise the service I received from Inchcape Swindon highly enough and would thoroughly recommend them!

Great staff. Always helpful. This dealership is one of the rare few of car dealerships that actually knows what they are talking about and are not trying to scam you out of something you don't need.

Have had one problem once with their parts department ordering the wrong thing, but this was quickly rectified and was refunded accordingly. The actual part required was shipped quickly and arrived next day.

Have called twice to find out how to return my golf lease car and enquire about a new one. Nobody available either time, so promised to call me back,which never happened. Don't return calls, have left messages with salesman and reception. Will buy from elsewhere

During the test drive on our new car we found a si...

During the test drive on our new car we found a significant water leak in the boot. The dealership put the car through the garage and told us it was fixed; after two weeks without rain the boot started leaking again as soon as the winter storms hit. Took the car back to be fixed and had to wait 3 hours for the promised courtesy car so I could get to work. I was then told that the car could be in for a matter of weeks with no promise of when it would be returned.

As a result we decided to shop around and found a similar car at another Inchcape dealership which was moved down to Swindon. When I drove to the dealership to swap our car (as per our rights) we were then told that the terms of our original deal no longer applied and we would no longer have 2 years free servicing (due to no fault of our own). Sales team had no interest in putting this right and very much had a 'computer says no' attitude. At this stage I just wanted to draw a line under the whole saga and move on.

We have since found that our second new car also has a water leak; this time in the drivers footwell. Despite previous issues we have had to wait over 5 weeks for an appointment to book into the garage for repair. All of this is in addition to a whole host of other problems which had lead to a hugely disappointing experience.

Phoned earlier in the week to ask if I could make ...

Phoned earlier in the week to ask if I could make an appointment to have the tyre pressures checked (pressure light had come on). Was told on the phone not to make an appointment, I could just pop in. Popped in this morning and was turned away because they were full.

Have previously had great service from Heritage Bristol, but working around Swindon on occasions, it made sense to pop in to Swindon. The recent service at Bristol had resulted in two new price-matched tyres, one of which seemed to be the cause of the fault. Hence going back to a VW garage to get things checked.

Very disappointed. No offer of assistance with my onward journey. No offer to compromise. Will be staying at Heritage Bristol, and sending a complaint.

Please, just do as you have said you can do. It's not difficult.

Following response from VW - the pressure light is still on. So although you might refine your procedures, this doesn't really help me today. I'm still driving on with potentially the incorrect pressure in my tyres. Triage system perhaps?
