Great place with many different sections for whatever you had your heart set on.

My favourite brewery in Philly. Lost and lost of seating both indoor and outdoor. Staff is very friendly, food is great, but the view is the best part

I went here with a friend this past weekend for the 1st time and loved it. The food was really good, some of the best I've ever had. The drinks were good for the most part, except their "Pain Killer" which was the worst version of that drink I've ever had. The music was pretty good and it was a nice diverse crowd. Overall, I really liked the place. Can't wait to take my husband back with me.

The bouncers, the ones checking the ids in particular, needs a class on how to differentiate a real from a fake ID. Extremely rude, ignorant, and don't understand that they can't just put hands on people who are using freedom of speech and making a valid statement. One guy, particularly the old man with the nasty attitude, inappropriately groped my friend across her chest, pushed her against a wall to ultimately kick her out, just because she stood up for my gf. They thought my gf's id was fake, so I offered to call to cops to have them validate my girlfriends ID, who drove down an hour to hang out with my friends. I think the business needs to hire more competent employees or possibly face a law suit. Big brothers watching.

Decent place to bring family during non-evening hours. Later in the night is decent, but can get hectic at times.

Very nice casual place. Big open floor plan with tables or you can sit at the bar. Their food is delicious. Been here multiple times and haven't ate a single thing I did not like. They do serve sushi if that's something you're looking for. They brew their own beer - so craft beer lovers this is right up your alley. They do switch up their menu every so often. They do not serve your regular domestic beers (i.e. miller lite). Worth checking out if you are trying to pick a place on main street.

Food was very poor. Ceased salad was yellow lettuce, 1.5 cherry tomatoes, and 4 cold shrimp. Barely edible. I would not eat here again. Beer was par. But based on the quality of the food I m not sold on the beer. The over all google rating is pretty accurate.

Honestly really not that good. Tried several entrees and an appetizer and none of it was very good. Beer wasn't great either. There is a random sushi station, seems like the place is suffering from an identity crisis. Best part about it was the jazz band playing at the time. Otherwise skip this place, there are much much better places to eat in Manayunk

We always have fun here. It's a fairly young crowd. (Early 20s) The music is a mix of hip hop and pop. There are some TVs with sporting events on but it's not much of a sports bar. The bartenders are normally wonderful, as with any employee, some are better than others. The food is pretty good. Great French fries! There are three different bars on the first floor with table seating as well. The was a second floor but it was closed last time we went. Parking isn't great. I would recommend car pooling or getting a ride.

Cool place that has several different atmospheres depending on what you're looking for; a riverside overlook, an outdoor deck bar, an indoor bar, indoor booths, and at some points it turns into a "club" style dance area. The beer and food are good. Worth checking out for sure.

Great ambiance! The selection of food varied enough so that anyone could find something they liked. We had pizza, cheesesteak dumplings, fries with cheese and sushi. The prices weren't terrible either. The chocolate chip pan dessert was delicious!

The worst experience.. This place is run with the mentality that the customer is always wrong and has bad culture written all over it. I was physically assaulted by an employee outside of the establishment, I alerted the GM the next day and nothing has been done about it nor am I confident anything ever will. I was questioned as to what I may have done to be thrown to the ground as a grown man. It seems this is now the culture they have embraced and is obviously just a college bar hang out NOT A BREWERY. This is not a brewery to ever visit on your tour around the philly area. My wife and I have been to over 180 breweries and this was by far the worst experience I have ever been involved with period .. Stay away

Wish I could go 3.5 stars, but I did 4 because I liked the beer. The decor of the place was really nice and gave off a nice ambiance. The food was very bland though and the server was a bit odd. In reality, I probably wouldn't go back because I prefer bars or hipster breweries and this didn't fit either description. It was more of a restaurant and it is good for dates, but for me the food wasn't good enough to come back. The reason why I gave them 4 stars instead of 3 is because I really enjoyed their beer.

Complete disappointment. A 15 min wait turned out to be over an hour long. They did not care to apologize. The hostess was rude and said she texted me but I told her I never received her text and she didn't seem to care. We ended up leaving hungry.

The food was pretty good although it is a bit on the pricey side in my opinion. I ordered the fish and chips and a frozen margarita which both tasted great. The atmosphere is really chill as we went on Tuesday.

Great sushi and great beers. Fallen Angel is delicious.

Ordered a 16 oz beer, and received it in a cup labeled .4L (13.5 oz). So we paid for 16 oz, but got closer to 12, the size one down. When we asked they said oh no that's the same. If you're going to be shady about it, don't offer your beers in cups with the measurement printed on it.

Manayunk Brew pub can be a little "collegiate" but looking past that the summer on the back deck with a Schkyll Punch doesn't get much better. Try sushi with the wheatey beers. It's amazing.

Great food! I love the sushi bar! Not as many taps as they usually have due to the schuylkill flooding but the yards brawlers we had was fantastic

Love this place! The food selections are across the board! There is something for everyone here.My favorite is the sushi, pizza, and humus tray. :)

Today.. (Christmas eve) I returned for my second visit within a week because my waitress and food was perfect on my first visit (zuchini fries, crab caviar, short rib n mac, & farm to table pasta etc. TASTY).
As for this visit... I just left there very disappointed & very hungry because the food was just not right, my burger was rare instead of medium and the brisket was very salty and dry. The server totally forgot about us so long that I became full with gas, and her section was not crowded at all. Im not sure if im willing to return or promote.
Maybe I just had first timers luck :/

Don't order the short rib... not worth the 17.50... my friend liked the spare ribs tho

Brunch food was good. Service for a large party was pretty bad; had to hunt for a waitress to get them to come to our table to take drink orders after waiting a half hour, and they continued to do a bad job the whole visit.

Great dining experience. Great beers! And terrific sushi! The crab cakes were full of lump crab meat. We'll be going back!

Went here for New Years Eve, what an amazing time. Love this place.

A bar that has coal fire pizza AND sushi!? And yes there 'beer' suffers from it. Good social gathering place but not good for the beer scene whatsoever. They don't care about beer. Just trying to line there coffers with everything that's trending. A brewery that swears they brew all in house stuff but sells Corona? C'mon.

Good craft brews and atmosphere with overall friendly bartenders. I also like that it has different areas that you can hang out to suit your mood. In my opinion it's best experienced during warm weather when the outdoor areas are open.

Good menu with a wide variety of options. This night was rainy so there wasnt as much a crowd. Tonight they had live music.

Great food, Awesome beer, great place. Inside or out any season this place is cozy

Just wait here on my birthday and not going to lie does a great experience 5 out of 5 I went with my brother and sister and this is what I wore. Definitely worth going back to.

Good beer, okay food, but one particular server there ruined me and my wife's experience. Will not return.

I did the brewery tour which was nice but very brief. Drop by on Saturdays between 12-2 if you d like one. It came with a free pint of beer. I ordered the beer flight first to try the 9 types they have on draft before selecting one. The beer was good. They have a nice variety. The service was so-so and the food was poor. I got the hot crab dip which was unappetizing and unappealing. The bartender saw how unsatisfied I was and took it back. I ordered wings instead. They were cooked perfectly but I didn t care for the glaze that came on them. I m not in a hurry to go back but I might give their patio a try.

If I could give it a zero I would, this staff doesn't know how to handle the drunk children who go here. I've been here multiple times and I fish right behind this place. There's always a problem here, weather it's people throwing stuff over the edge of the back deck or the fist fights out front. I won't be spending anymore of my time or money on this place.

I have been coming here for years and hesitate to say anything negative because some of the employees are amazing. But today 5/20 was not good. I called ahead to ask when the deck was open and was told 12. We arrived at 12 to be told the deck was not opening until 12:20. Okay, fine...but the hostess acted like it we were completely putting her out by politely agreeing to return at 12:20, which we did. Then we were told it was brunch buffet only, but while we were eating literally everyone around us was ordering from the regular lunch menu. We weren t given any silverware. We weren t easily given refills. The two gentlemen of color at the omelet station were openly and loudly trashing and mocking the jazz band because they were white and trying to sound black (their actual remarks, NOT my assumption) while we were waiting for omelets. They even told their own manager to lower the volume of the band (they were NOT loud!). Two other servers of different races were openly arguing in front of me. I strongly feel like you have some big communication problems and serious racial tension in this place that needs to get under control, stat. It was very uncomfortable to eat here today, and I will not be back. But thanks for the memories.

This place has a nice atmosphere as well as a great vibe

Had a few apps the portions are small so go with a meal. Unless you sit at the bar and get happy hour deals! Loved the Porter atr on outside patio very pretty.

Great food but sketchy. The only thing we didn t like was there was an 18% gratuity added onto the check at the end. Now we are usually very good tippers but the fact they chose just to add it on without saying anything is sketchy. When we asked they said it s because of covid and they pointed out that there is a card on the table stating that an 18% gratuity would be added. ( the card was 3x3 and you could barley read it). This is something that should have been pointed out prior to us getting the check.

The wait staff was very nice and informative about their food and beer selections

Beer was great. Good selection. The seats in the covered outdoor area were not very comfortable. The chicken sandwich I had was good, but my friends' meals were just OK according to them.

The worst "brewery" I have ever attended. The beer tastes like the river it over looks. Along with the food being way way over priced (4 cheese burgers and beers over $100) nothing special or good tasting about it to say the least. This place is one of those places that are way overrated and I would never go back to.

Customer service is a zero. After a night out for dinner at the brew pub, we left disappointed and are sure to never return. After ordering appetizers first and entrees later and even stressed to the waitress (who was essentially non existent in a barely filled restaurant) that we wanted time between courses, all of our food appeared at once. The runner and waitress seemed befuddled and the manager came out and was belligerent, she did not apologize or ask what she can do to make it right. Instead she tells us that it is a "Very big restaurant and the kitchen has many areas" so that's why the food comes out that way. I offered that regardless of the restaurants size, the waitstaff and kitchen need to coordinate these things. she then countered with "Well you ordered the fish and chips which cooks very fast, that's why everything arrived so quickly" really....? After returning the entrees, they seemed to spite us and brought the entrees 45 minutes later when the restaurant was near empty. Oh and did we mention our friend was pregnant and we had our two year old with us? Bottom line- worst customer service experience we've had in a long time. For a nice beer selection, better food and better service in manayunk - try Craft across the street!

I took a few friends out for brunch on Sunday. The food was amazingly good! It was even better than in the past. It's evident that another chef is at work in the kitchen. I would highly recommend the brunch and it appears, the food during other times as well to anyone who had yet to experience the improved cuisine. We also liked the discounted mimosas and live jazz entertainment.

My sister and I hosted our mom's 60th birthday party here and it was wonderful. The food was delicious and the event coordinator and staff were helpful. They have a few private rooms. We were in the Jazz Room. I highly recommend it!

Nice atmosphere and pretty cool outside deck. It would be nice if the bartenders, when you call, know what time the cover charge starts...it is 10pm, not 10.30pm.

This place is an excellent brewery. I have no idea how this place has 3.9 stars (at the time of writing, I would not be surprised if it was higher in the future). The beer was excellent and the fish was fresh. I would highly recommend.

The best sushi in Philadelphia! Shrimp tempura roll is my favorite. Sushi chef Huang is absolutely great!

Great food, good atmosphere. We were at restaurant week at MBC and I chose a wine that wasn t on the list. I was then told by our very nice and sweet waitress Jordan that we would only have to pay for the difference for it which would have been $2 more. We received our check with a $9 wine charge we then proceeded to tell the waitress that we were told we would only have to pay the difference. She apologized that she said that but she THOUGHT we would only have to pay for the difference but she was incorrect. I completely understand she made a mistake she was very sweet the whole time but we thought because that wasn t our fault we would still just have to pay for the difference since that s what we were mistakingly told. We asked for the manager Tracy and we waited for about 15-20 minutes and the waitress came back saying she s TOO BUSY at the moment and the most she could do is make the wine $7 instead of $9 which to me was honestly a joke ! We waited for 20 minutes to be told the manager was too busy for a customer (mind you it was 10pm...they weren t that busy.) and her apologies were to only deduct the bill by $2 when we were told we would only have to pay $2 for the difference of the wine. I live in Manayunk and will not be returning just for the fact the manager sent a waitress to say she was too busy for a $9 mistake.

Used to be a great place, but won't go back after recent experience. Went for 3:30 early dinner after having skipped lunch. 2 other tables and 2 bar patrons only others in restaurant. We wanted to order Sushi, server said she couldn't take our order for 10 minutes, ok fine, we could wait and have a drink.. 2 Sushi chefs sat reading newspapers at the sushi bar... I guess they don't get paid till 3:45? So 4pm rolls around and the server stopped back around to say they still weren't able to take our order... guess they were in the middle of an article, because they were still reading. She finally took our order at 4:15. The sushi was delicious. If I had known we had to wait that long of course I would have either left or ordered something else. Server did a few fly-bys on our table during the waiting period where she'd throw some napkins on the table without slowing down so I had to lean back and say "excuse me?.. can i have a drink from the bar? Anyway, so many great places to go. The sushi was good, but I wouldn't waste any more time or money there.

I m so torn leaving this review.
I love the food, beers and atmosphere here. However the last 2 times I ve been here and sat outside the service has been atrocious.
I waited 1/2 hour to even be acknowledged that I was there then waited another 20 minutes for water!!!
We got one drink and was never asked if we wanted another.
The second time we waited for 20 minutes and placed our order al at once, we learned our lesson the first time.
The food and beer came and we NEVER saw our sever again

We waited for the check for 20 minutes with empty plates and cups until another server noticed we were looking around and he got our check for us.
I want to keep coming and supporting the local business but I can t take the lack of customer service

Overall average, average food, average beer, average quality. Its nice and big and you can explore around when they open the whole place up in the summer time.

If you are looking for a nice restaurant this is the spot. This place is multifunctional. What I mean by this is you can have a great bar experience, you can have a great group meal or an intimate date. The decor is very trendy.if you choose, you could also sit outside and take a beautiful view of the green toxic Schuylkill River. The reason for 4 stars is because the menu and food overall are o.k. if friends are coming here I will go.

Automatic 18% gratuity added "for your convenience" for a couple. No warning except a piece of paper taped to the table. Too bad i normally tip over that.

This place is just ok. Service is totally lacking though. Easter Sunday we stopped in for a drink at the back bar outside and the entire time the bartender and server rolling silverware complained about workplace drama and how they didn t like the new server that was hired. Not really what I m trying to listen to while enjoying myself. Last night we came in for drinks and dinner. Our waiter was friendly but seemed weeded. My dirty martini was way too salty and I could barely taste the vodka. Food was just all right. Seems like everything was frozen and heated up. Someone else dropped off our food and we were given no share plates (we ordered 3 appetizers to share) and I had to ask for silverware. After the food was dropped off our waiter didn t check up on us not even once but when we asked for the check he came back real quickly. It seems the staff is under trained. Also the guy singing music there was pretty bad. I would have much preferred to just listen to music already recorded. There s leaks in the ceilings and it just seems like they should close for a few days, get their ish together, fix all the leaks and retrain the staff.

The service as well as the food was very poor. After having two Pepsi's and a sweet tea spilled on me and not even a sorry (I'm sorry). As well as not getting compensated for sitting in wet, sticky clothes for my entire meal.

Attended a wedding at manayunk, all the beer selection was really good, food was good. It's a really pretty spot and the staff was very nice. Also they had really useful stuff in the ladies room, thank goodness for those floss picks.

Went in with 4 friends and had Conor as our waiter. He never checked on us - so we had to go to the bar to get our drinks refilled. He brought us our food and never checked back nor gave us the condiments we requested. I don't think I heard 1 thank you. Gave him a one dollar tip and wish I would have Chuck Berry'd him!
