We had a lovely stay at the Maldron Parnell Square, Dublin. We were doing some sales shopping. Our good experience began at reception where Adriano checked us in. He was so helpful and pleasant. Our room was very well equipped with comfy beds, nice bathroom and tea making facilities.
Breakfast was so good. It had great choice of cereals, breads, pastries. There was a selection of juices and a smoothie. It's hot cooked breakfast looked really good. There was a choice of cheeses and cold meats. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had in a while.

I would recommend this hotel to friends and will definitely stay again.

Nice hotel. Reminds me of a Jury's Inn. Comfortable large beds. Quiet rooms. Good shower
Great buffet breakfast.
Shame it's in a grimy end of town. At 230 euros per night it's difficult to say great value.

We stayed Bed & Breakfast for three nights. Food was varied and very tasty and the staff in the restaurant were extremely accommodating . The bedroom was a little small as it had a double and a single bed and slightly dowdy in decor but had everything we needed. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location was approximately 10 minutes walk to O'Connell Street and bus stops around the corner. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

The hotel is.conveniently located. I had a clean, okay sized room that was rather tightly packed with furniture and an extra bed. Staff gave a warm welcome and are well trained and competent. However, the place seemed to me to be a bit impersonal, without much real character. The room rate I paid was, in my opinion, expensive for what was provided.

We had a lovely afternoon tea for my Mams Birthday. Staff could not have been nicer they went above and beyond came out with a little birthday plate for my Mam and sang happy birthday to her. I would definitely recommend the Maldron Hotel Parnel street. We will be heading back in there for dinner or lunch after shopping in town, so central to city centre.

Located close to the city's main Street it's still in a rundown area. Restaurant wasn't open for brunch/lunch and ongoing refurbishment resulted in a lot of noise during "office hours". Rooms were small and subpar.

Hotel in a beautiful location, located a short walk from o'connoll street, central area, hotel with very clean rooms, large spaces, new furnishings and comfortable beds. Staff very helpful and kind. Abundant and international breakfasts. We found ourselves well and if it happens we will come back here.

Great experience visiting Dublin with my sis. Especially after booking 2 nights more due the snow and our flights cancelled. Reception restaurant and cleaning staff very attentive and responsive to our requests. Lovely clean room and perfect service. Many thanks to all the 5 star staff.

We stayed at the Maldron few weeks ago. This was our 3rd visit.Safety standards are remarkable.Masks and sanitiser provided at the reception and lobby area.We stayed in room 437.It was lovely room but the heating system wasn't that great.Soon as I requested a heater, staff at night brought it without any delay. Restaurant meal was okay but overpriced.Friendly and professional staff.

Wonderful stay in Maldron Hotel Parnell square

Wonderful stay in Maldron Hotel Parnell square
From arrival at reception until we left
Staff were fantastic and could not have done enough to ensure our three night bb active break was great
Breakfast and evening meals were of great variety and food was of a very high standard also staff were great checking if everything was ok or if we needed anything else
As I myself am slimming nothing was to much when I enquired if I could have e.g. poached egg at breakfast and at dinner healthier options to chips.Every request I made was no bother to the restaurant staff even though it may have been as I said for potatoes instead of chips I wasn't made to feel uncomfortable or embarrassed by the requests as other hotels I have found that the Reply would be no we can't do that .
It's wonderful to have that feeling of contentment that they listen to what is important to the customer.
Even one afternoon we came back to the hotel to have a drink not realising the bar didn't open until five and again it was Philip the manager who was at the bar area and again he said it was not bother to get us a drink top marks Philip
Rooms were spotless and as I have mobility problems the walk In shower was fantastic as was the disabled parking provided at the hotel.Oh and the free WiFi was another bonus.
What more can we say.
This was not our first stay with you in Parnell square and we will be back
Thanks to everyone for making our mini break so relaxing and comfortable.
Yours Sincerely
Margaret McMonagle

Hotel had great amenities, but still far too expensive to compare to staying with a local at an Airbnb. The facilities were very fancy looking and they had TV, internet, and a little drinks station. It's totally fine if your work is paying because you're on a business trip, but otherwise if you really want a better local experience, you're probably going to get all of these same amenities plus a built in guide/friend if you stay at a bnb. Currently under construction, but they kept noise/mess to a minimum so it wasn't an issue if that worries you. Only real thing they could improve besides price is a bit more lighting in the room as it was a bit dim even with all the lights on that I could find.

Worst hotel ever......

If you don't want to sleep, this is the place to stay!

Construction in the room next to you, starts at 7:00 am.... when you call downstairs they offer breakfast delivered to you and then say, "oh, it's a buffet and that will be 10 euros"

If you want to get mugged outside, this is the hotel for you.

Do yourself a favor and sleep outside, you will get a better nights rest and it's not $1800 for 7 days.

Instead of a refund or an apology, we were offered a $5 bottle of wine.

On a leisure trip, quite uncomfortable 1) Construction activity happening right outside the window. 2) Air con not functioning, room was Hot!! 3) House keeping entered the room twice in the morning before 12, to see if room was empty, despite us not checking out...not a lot of sleep!.
Room was clean and well furnished. Front desk very friendly. Breakfast was poor, dried out, orange juice tasted watered down.
Within walking distance of city centre but I didn't feel secure walking around that area.
Definitely not worth 130.

The hotel is nicely decorated and the staff was nice but did not go beyond basic niceness in any interactions.
I feel that the hotel is way overpriced for the product and would chose to stay elsewhere the next time we are in Ireland. The location is not the best - close to some attractions but buildings around it are falling apart.

I have no complaints about the hotel only I stayed in the maldrom in portloise and it was in a room never the motorway they had a double window to block out traffic very good it was I stayed on the 5th floor in parnell street maldron and was awake all nite with people outside talking and traffic so a double window might help no harm in trying it anyway thanks

Excellent location, quiet room, breakfast full of choices, clean, very kind staff in the room. I was there last February and I'm returning now for a short time, to meet my son who has lived in Dublin for almost 4 years !!

Paid 255 for 2 nights when it wasn t worth 155. Although very good location and friendly front desk staff, the noise was very bad. The hotel has been under construction for months from what I gathered from reviews and is still under construction. There was a noise like someone was hovering in the room with me all morning from 8am. We booked early check in and our room still was not ready until 3 pm. Our room was constantly dark as the window was facing a wall. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

I stayed here at this hotel for 2 nights and realised the hotel chain was everywhere in Dublin in my many rides in the taxis. The check in trainee receptionist was fantastic and very helpful. It may have helped by being a VIP gold Expedia member. Ryan was also very helpful. The hotel was very clean and the room could have been a 4 star room! Everything was perfect at this hotel only let down by house keeping where the toiletries were not replaced perhaps they have been told to be conserving? The only grudge were the two lifts being very slow. Apart from these little issues, I would definitely come back. The hotel is quite centrally located and the pricing was about right even though I could have found cheaper. Well done!

People at recepcion desk was very kind and helpful, answering all our necessities, specially Laura who helped us very kindly. Thank you Laura!
Regarding facilities, it would be desirable to update them.

Average hotel for what it is priced! I consider this overpriced and would recommend elsewhere!

The location is probably the best thing about this hotel we have walked everywhere.

The rooms are averagely spacious but do not have basic amenities like a baggage holder, hand soap, body lotion.

I am not happy with the daily cleaning of our room as used glasses are left as is, toiletries were not replaced and room was not hoovered.

Location decent, not really in certain center center but also not very far. I think it's a bit expensive for a 3 star hotel. The room was big and nice but somehow cold. Under the blanket was perfect. Staff was very friendly

Have stayed at the hotel on two occasions recently while in Dublin for medical reasons. Would highly recommend The Maldron, Parnell Square. Staff were so friendly and welcoming and took great care of us. Rooms were of a very high standard, cleanliness excellent and with the most comfortable beds!! Food was great and service excellent and efficient. Great quality free WiFi too.

Just stayed here for 2 nights, with my Husband. We had 3 days in Dublin. The hotel staff were kind and friendly and allowed us to leave our bags with them hours before check in time which meant we could go and explore the beautiful Dublin without our bags. I am Gluten, wheat and dairy free and this was met in the hotel during breakfast. A great stay, hoping to stay again later in the year with my mum.

Three stars as are the alleged stars of the hotel.
Convenient location for a stroll on Connelly Street.
The rooms are decent and clean but not up to three stars.
Curiously, you will find the hairdryer in a desk drawer and not in the bathroom. Beware that if you book online they will charge your credit card for the first night without notifying you.
You pay for the entire stay on arrival and not at check-out (as is normally the case) so be careful to check the actual charges. For the rest, my judgment is sufficient.

The hotel room was neat and clean. The bedding was soft and luxurious, for a good night's sleep. The staff were not very welcoming and my room was not ready during check-in time and we had to wait for over an hour, without much apology from the staff. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Shower was lovely and powerful.we had our room in older part hotel but the deco was noce and cosy.bed comfortable ..centrally located ..
Only disapoointing thing was the noise from renovation we were part of a group of 11

Very good offer for students, I hope the hotel keeps it as extremely handy. The only negative thing I could say that the pillows were very flat. Even the extra ones in the wardrobe were flat too, I had requested more using the QR code on the mirror but none arrived.

Clean rooms, excellent breakfast, good personal treatment.
Very helpful in helping you with whatever you need.
We miss Spanish television channels and being able to communicate with employees in Spanish, only two of them knew our language.

Stayed at your hotel from feb 25th through march 2nd. Room clean and spacious. Room cleaning stuff a bit overbooked. because of load of work. Hotel was being refurbished with an extension and so noise of drills and screwdrivers. (learnt about refurbishing at check-in)
breakfast buffet more than decent. (breakfast staff very friendly but one female supervisor (black hair) never smiles).
- A big big thank you to Avi, the F&B supervisor for being so accessible, cheerful, cool and extremely professional. He has an exceptional sense of hospitality. Definitely deserves a pay raise.

Stayed at this hotel for the first time during a quick trip to Dublin last Dec. Honestly, I chose it over the other options because of the price and I was glad I did. The location is an easy walk from the Aircoach stop on Upper O'Connell as well as the city center, and there are several sit-down and take-away dining options nearby. The front desk staff was friendly, and easily switched between multiple languages. I arrived an hour or so before check-in time officially started, but was immediately given a room without any hassle. I had a similar experience when I checked out at 4am to catch an early flight. The hotel rooms and public spaces appear to be fairly new, and are clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, a nice coffee/tea service with electric kettle is complimentary, bathroom fixtures were modern, and they had a vertical trouser press I experimented with extensively (not something usually found in the US). Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent service, clean and new hotel, excellent location, delicious irish breakfast and with several choices, I just do not give five stars as there is no fridge in the rooms and the hotel gym is about three blocks from the hotel itself, if these items do not bother the hotel is perfect.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Maldron Hotel, the rooms were lovely and very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful, Breakfast was well worth the money although we did have breakfast included in the price but would have happily paid the price. Evening meal in the restaurant were also very good for the price paid, only thing we found negative was the price for the drinks were slightly high but I think they were on par for Dublin all over. Hotel location was very good slightly out of the way of any noise but close enough to walk to most places, also the bus stop was just round the corner if preferred for normal buses and Hop on Hop off buses aswell.

The establishment is actually quite new-looking and well built. It is however quite overpriced for the location (15-20 minute walk to central part of dublin, there are places closer that would probably charge the same).
The biggest issue however is that the room cleaning was terrible. They just made the bed, emptied the bins and that s it. Not even vacuuming the floor, not once in 4 days we stayed. We had plastic water cups left on a shelf, they did not take those once in 4 days unless they were in the bin.
Cherry on top, no questions about feedback during checkout. Thankfully, we have Google!

The rooms were exactly as advertised, clean, and comfortable! Breakfast was delicious with a great variety! The hotel staff was very courteous and helped us find everything we wanted around town! The location is also fantastic as we were able to walk to everything. We will definitely stay there again next time we go to Dublin! Highly recommend!
