My girlfriend and I are huge fans of Cruising, and so several of our cruises take us to St. Maarten and there you will find Majesty Jewelers and the ONLY employee I will buy from is J.B. I first encounter with him was a several years ago and I was leaving the cruise terminal on my way to a scuba diving trip and stopped in for just a few minutes to see if they had blue diamond pieces. J.B. showed me some items and I told him that I would return later in the day. He looked at me like O.K. SURE YOU WILL, THAT IS WHAT ALL THE TOURISTS SAY. Well the rest is history, we have purchased several pieces of jewelry from J.B. He know what style of jewelry that my girl friend likes and does not attempt to sell us something that she does not like. He is ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL and will WORK with his customers to get them the VERY BEST PRICE. He is willing to cut into his commission to get me a GREAT PRICE on the piece we are looking to buy. We have completed the Blue Diamond collection (several pieces) and started on a collection of Ruby. Our last cruise did not include St. Maarten so I needed to a surprise for my girl friend for Christmas 2019 so I emailed J.B. and via phone and the internet I purchase a Hearts on Fire neckless for her. Needless to say it is rare that she is not wearing it. I always have the jewelry appraised once I get it home so that I can have it on our insurance. I am always very pleased to find out that the appraised value is at least 30% more than I paid and sometimes as much as 50%.
WHEN IN ST MAARTEN, DO NOT mess around with the other jewelers head STRAIGHT TO MAJESTY AND ASK TO SPEAK TO J.B. ONLY. YOU WILL NOT REGRETT IT.

Majesty Jewellers!! Gr8 place for gems in St. Martin!! JB is "Just Awesome" with his humor and immense knowledge about gems, always a step ahead in mapping the gem stone to gem people!!

We had a great experience at Majesty Jewelers! We went in one day on our vacation, and Charlie helped us in looking for a ring we were happy with. He was not pushy at all and let us think about it when we weren t set on it yet. We did end up going back a day or two later after comparing and looking at other stores in the area. I think they had the best selection out of the stores we went to. Charlie was very helpful and walked us through the entire process very well, and advised us to get a custom made ring in my size as he didn t want to resize the ring too much and risk the fallout of jewels. Pricing was fair and Charlie gave us a great deal. It took about 2 months to get to us as we had it sent back to the states, but the process was super simple and the ring arrived in beautiful condition and a perfect fit! Will definitely be going back the next time we re on the island.

We visited him on January 30 of this year, and I had a very special request for Jack: design and create a sapphire and diamond necklace for a beloved niece for her October wedding. He quickly took action! The design was completed and approved within a month, and even with the quarantines in place, the beautiful and exquisite necklace arrived at my door mid-May. Right on schedule, exceeding expectations, a wonderful example of dedication to the client. Thank you!

Year after year, I return to Majesty. have been a loyal customer for 15 years. Wouldn t shop anywhere else. They have everything, regardless of your budget level. Prices are well better than those in the US. Make sure you go to the downtown store and ask for Marcia.

Updated 5-29-20. I just purchased an upgrade to my wedding set from Jack at Majesty. He had assisted me with other transactions. The entire transaction was completed online due to COVID-19. They sent pictures and video of the item I was purchasing. I couldn t be more pleased with the transaction!!! The rings are stunning, and the communication was top notch throughout the process.

Majesty jewelers here in St.Martin has such fine collection of jewelery pieces.. I wanted to buy a pair of earrings for myself, but I was so confused and didn t really know who was the right person to guide me for the same . We stop by Majesty Jewelers whenever we are in St. Maarten. This time, we were shopping for a watch and received their usual excellent service. I always feel that I m being treated with respect and honesty. Our questions are always answered respectfully. I ve never felt pressured to buy as you sometimes do when browsing at some other stores. We ve always received good value at Majesty. On a previous trip, I was looking for a pendant, and stopped at a competitor on the way to Majesty. The competitor did not have what I wanted, showed me an inferior product and pressed me to buy. I left that store and went straight to Majesty. They had exactly what I was looking for. The stone was of superior quality, and for a little less money than the inferior one at the other store. I will continue to return to Majesty Jewelers any time I am fortunate enough to visit the island!

I had the pleasure of working with Jay, via email, to purchase an Alexandrite ring that would match a pendant I had purchased in the store several years ago while on a Disney cruise. Charlie was quite excellent in helping me choose a small hearts on fire necklace. Although he encouraged me to choose a more elaborate piece, I really wanted a diamond pendant/necklace that I could wear with more casual clothes as I am retired. We settled on a beautiful piece. I was not happy with the chain so he added a lovely, more delicate chain to the piece, with an extension (you could wear the necklace at 16 or 18 inches) at no additional cost. I was extremely happy with the service extended to me and the high quality of my diamond pendant/necklace.
My only suggestion is to offer a better discount. I was given the ship s VIP discount which was only $100 and they took a bit more off, as well as giving me an 18k white gold chain for free which does sound like a good deal. But you are told by the ship s representative that you will get an incredible discount as well as tax and duty free. Somewhere between the ship s rep and the store lies the problem associated with discounts. Please tell it like it is. We all want to purchase beautiful diamonds but the reality of the pricing is different than what we are told to expect.
