Charlie was quite excellent in helping me choose a small hearts on fire necklace. Although he encouraged me to choose a more elaborate piece, I really wanted a diamond pendant/necklace that I could wear with more casual clothes as I am retired. We settled on a beautiful piece. I was not happy with the chain so he added a lovely, more delicate chain to the piece, with an extension (you could wear the necklace at 16 or 18 inches) at no additional cost. I was extremely happy with the service extended to me and the high quality of my diamond pendant/necklace.
My only suggestion is to offer a better discount. I was given the ship s VIP discount which was only $100 and they took a bit more off, as well as giving me an 18k white gold chain for free which does sound like a good deal. But you are told by the ship s representative that you will get an incredible discount as well as tax and duty free. Somewhere between the ship s rep and the store lies the problem associated with discounts. Please tell it like it is. We all want to purchase beautiful diamonds but the reality of the pricing is different than what we are told to expect.
