Ruth in the Apothecary Spa was INCREDIBLE!! I feel like a whole new person! And Angela did such an amazing job with my facial and helping get the right product for my skin! What a peaceful, relaxing experience.

Very nice hotel and staff. Fresh ground coffee at the front desk for French press in the room is a nice touch. Terrible wifi speeds like living in the stone ages but otherwise a great experience.

We are locals who went to the 5th Street bistro for drinks and a bite. We were hoping to sit in the bar/lounge but it was full. They allowed us to sit in the dining room instead, and we had a great few rounds of unqiue cocktails and bites. It's my favorite place for non-meal gatherings, just wish there was more room so I could bring all my friends

When I went, the service was understaffed, the musician playing had the amp much to loud for that size of a room, and the lights in the dinning room were flicking the entire 1.45 hours I was there. Food was okay, expirence was why I gave it 3 stars.

Beautiful place to stay in close proximity to Whidbey Island! The rooms are unique and well kept. Such a nice change from the chains that I normally have to stay at. They will offer per diem rates at certain times of the year so ask! When I booked, I spoke with Kahlan and she went out of her way to take care of me and make my stay possible under the restrictions of per diem.

My boyfriend surprised me with a stay here, what a treat. The room was BEAUTIFUL, the bed was comfortable, and the coffee was literally the best coffee I have ever tasted! They grind the coffee fresh for you and make you feel so welcomed, how special. The staff was awesome! The food was OMG delish! Felisha at the check in desk was very polite and helpful. Avery, the waitress was so charming. 10/10 plus recommend this place!

The hotel was beauriful and in a great location for visiting Anacortes. The staff were also very kind. Our only problem was there was no air conditioning and a noisey bar outside when we had the window open. I could also hear everything the visitors said in the adjoining room. It seems like just our room may have had theses problems however.

Stayed here after our day-trip to Friday Harbor for my birthday. Conveniently close to Anacortes terminal in charming downtown historic Anacortes. We stayed in the modern building (just next door to the historic building). BEAUTIFUL room! Had a balcony overlook of historic town. Quiet, comfortable and clean! Loved the waterfall shower. Free parking. Will definitely stay here again if I ever make it back to this beautiful part of WA State!

We stayed for two nights on our honeymoon. The room was clean and felt very big because of the tall ceiling. Friendly staff and well kept everywhere. There were only a few things that would have improved our stay. There was no tiny fridge in our room, so keeping anything cold beyond a bottle of bubbly in the ice bucket is not an option. The window shutters were caulked at a 45 degree angle, so sleeping in was not very easy. (bring a sleeping mask). On our second night we encountered no parking at all in the parking lot. Probably due to a wedding that was taking place that day. We ended up parking over 200 Yards away from the hotel down the street. Also I was surprised that there was no air conditioning, just a box fan in the closet. (I should have read the booking more carefully). All in all it was not really worth what we paid. We stayed at an Inn and Spa in LaConnor that was much nicer and much cheaper. Mad props to the 5th Street Biestro for thier pulled pork sliders though, those were da bomb!

Very nice corner space. Quiet except when people walk by the door. A personal spacious deck off the room with a view of the water on three sides. Beautiful. Fresh ground coffee for the French press. Only rebuff is we needed extra towels due to the 2 person tub. Very nice.

Upscale place to stay and have large meetings or Club functions. We stayed here and had a large birthday party. The appetizers were fantastic the service from the waiters was subpar but all in all a good place to stay and to eat

My family and I had a spontaneous staycation and called for a pet friendly room. We were so pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, great room service and neighborly town that my husband and I want to come back, without the kids. Thank you Majestic for making such a wonderful impression!

We came in for breakfast at the Bistro on the ground floor, it was excellent and just what we wanted. Not busy at all, but because of pandemic. We really enjoyed the eggs and potatoes and coffee, server was nice and friendly.

Nice enough place..but we had a toddler above us running back and forth at 5am so no one on the floor below got to sleep... I wonder if that was a conscious decision by the hotel staff or if they even thought about the potential noise issue with a little one .. wish they would have been on the bottom floor. Even though it's a newer building street noise and neighbor noise made the stay less enjoyable

The whole place was disorganized. It took an hour to get our food. Nobody greeted us when we got there. We were unclear on how to order so we got in line at the bar. We had waiters arguing over who would wait on us.

The food was bland and the service terrible. A person who came in after us got served before us. The place was empty with two servers and it took forever. The setting was nice, but we came to eat. Anthony's was much better.

Our room was very cute and clean. We enjoyed the Victorian style and the history it comes with. However, the bed was too firm, it's not soundproof with live jazz playing till0 11pm just across the road, and there is no AC. We didn't sleep very well and wouldn't recommend coming here to sleep.

Classy property located in the heart of Anacortes historical downtown district. The hotel was conveniently located close to everything. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and modern. Nothing but high marks for this place. I d give it 4 1/2 stars out of 5 (half star deducted because we could hear the toilet flush very clearly in the room next to us. The rattling pipes sounded like a small pop gun). Almost perfect.

We stayed in a deluxe suite with two queen beds in the new building, and it was lovely. We had a nice view of the sunset over the water (just a partial water view over the tops of the buildings in historic downtown). The A/C was great, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was huge! There were a refrigerator, a table with two chairs, a desk with a chair, and a chaise longue in the room, and we were very happy there. My only complaints were that the disabled parking was very limited and the elevator was very slow. That said, we would still happily stay there again!

My fiancee and I happened to come by the majestic a few months ago after we had spent a longer than anticipated day in the San Juan Islands looking at wedding venues. With it being just past 10pm, we had to make a decision of whether to push through and make the 4 hour drive home that night, or find a place to stay the night.

Figuring we could kill two birds with one stone, we decided to check out the majestic as both a possible venue as well as a place to stay. It ended up being one of the best decisions we made.

The staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant, and were additionally sympathetic to our situation of having a long drive ahead. Thus, they were willing to work around our budget a bit, offered us some cold drinks, and got us a beautiful room in their second building. The next morning, the new staff members were equally helpful as they helped guide us towards beautiful spots for pictures in the area and places to eat.

As for the room itself- it was a nice, clean setting. The beds aren't the most comfortable beds we've been in, but certainly not the worst either. Essentially, I'd give them a 4/5 on the beds as they still allowed for a good nights sleep.

Location-wise, the Majestic provides for an opportunity to travel back in time. The Majestic as well as its surrounding buildings feel like the historic district, yet you are in the heart of Anacortes' downtown and just a walk away from the waterfront.

Overall, the Majestic has solidified itself as a great memory in our minds, and one place we would certainly recommend you stay at or at the very least stop in to see the beautiful history and meet the great people!

PS- To the Management of the Majestic, your staff-member PK is an outstanding advocate for your facility, incredibly helpful and kind, and we likely will return to your establishment because of her alone. She should be commended for her efforts!

The Majestic Inn and Spa is a beautiful and elegantly decorated gem, located in fun and lively historic downtown Anacortes. The rooms and suites are nice. The bar is aesthetically pleasing and quaint while remaining classy; good wine selection and decent cocktails. The spa is just about full-spectrum and quite relaxing. And if nothing else grabs you, their rooftop bar/lounge certainly will; beautiful views and an exclusive feature here in Skagit. The staff are polite and helpful.

For over 300 dollars a night the walls should have some sound insulation. We had some very "active" neighbors and it was obvious what was going on. The room was decorated nicely but For the price of a Hilton in Washington D.C. I expected more.

Although this is a beautiful hotel, a few pointers. There is only a French press in the room to make coffee and you must go to the front desk to get it. A pot makes about 3 cups. There is not extra coffee in the room. There are no vending machines. They have room service but won't send a pot of coffee with your breakfast. We had maid service, they didn't empty the garbage or tidy the beds. We probably won't stay here again but we made our reservations at the last minute and have a pet
The beds are comfortable.

Beautiful, comfortable rooms and beds. Convenient location. We didn't try the restaurant. Did have facials at the spa, which was relaxing, and they didn't push products on us very hard.
