We're back at the Majestic and it is still fantastic. I've said it before; don't miss the bar. Great vibe and the staff is top notch.
Staff are very courteous. Food and beverages were good but pricy. Great suite with view. Needs USB charging stations in room
My wife and I stayed at the Majestic on our way to Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands. We stayed in a fifth floor room with a small private balcony. Because of the West Coast smoke storm the view was filtered, but on a clear NW day it would be spectacular. Great bathroom and shower. All staff were friendly, helpful and pandemic responsible. The Majestic is in the middle of a several block area of shops and restaurants . It made us think of coming to Anacortes not as a stop on the way to the San Juan Islands, but as a destination...Kurt
My son's Wedding was at Majestic Inn in 2013, it was absolutely beautiful! The nicest Hotel on Island, vintage and new, it combines old with new, the Art though out Hotel is an added bonus. The catering staff did an excellent job of setting up dining tables & buffet promptly & the food & service were top notch! We have eaten dinner there many times & the service & food were wonderful. We really enjoyed their new roof-top dining in the brand new building across the out door garden area. The view of Guemas Channel is fantastic! The room's are clean & very nice. I would recommend this Hotel as one of the nicest we've ever been to. We have stayed at luxury hotels from Mexico to Whister, B.C. Canada. The Majestic Spa and Inn is right at the top, especially for a small town. Their are alot of great restaurants within walking distance. Frida's across the street is haute cuisine Mexican Seafood and like an Art Gallery full of Frida Kahlo's paintings!
Best stay ever! Five stars isn't enough it was amazing
Beautiful hotel, good food & spirits.. the spa.. well, it sure could be managed better. Thats all, the staff is nice though..
It's a lovely hotel. Everything is walkable from this hotel. The rooms are neat and well kept. We got a lovely room with a awesome view of the city as well as the mountains and the ocean. The staff are very friendly. Check-in was very smooth.
Although the hotel was nice, we felt it was badly overpriced. We had been quoted a price on a suite with a kitchenette, were bumped from this room as they had overbooked and then had to pay the same price for a room without a kitchen. In addition, we were charged $5 for a small bottle of water in the room and there was no parking available for us. If you are traveling by car, be prepared to park quite far away on the street and haul your luggage.
Clean hotel in a small town. The room was nice and big. Comfy bed. French press coffee in room. Rain shower. Con: no pool or hot tub and our room didn't have a bath tub which I really hoped for. Overall a good stay!
There for my brothers wedding. Its a very comforting environment, more so to see my family that I havent seen for 1 yr.
It was an amazing experience with an awesome friendly staff!!!
Good sized rooms, good shower, and breakfast. The only down side is that the doors and walls are quite thin so you can hear the neighbors movements and chatter easily.
Their spa is one of my favorites in the PNW. Top notch service every time I've visited and the steam room is amazing. I highly recommend their spa whether you're just looking for one service or an entire day of pampering.
Best service and wonderful staff. Jessica went above and beyond to meet our needs.
If you want a hotel with a restaurant there is no higher class accommodation in Anacortes.
This Motel is awesome. It smells great. It has a new feel to it. We got 2 queen beds it has a fireplace in the room a wonderful view of the harbor. 4th floor has a great view. You must go to the Spa here. I felt like a princess. Love this place. Highly recommend the Majestic Motel. The room service is awesome too. This is truly a 5 Star experience.
Beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained accommodations. Friendly and helpful staff.
Very quaint hotel- bistro and bar are also worth the visit! In the summer the rooftop bar is legendary. Great spot for dinner
The is a top notch hotel and spa. They have exceptional service, Grand rooms that exude style and class, a very nice attached restaurant and bar. I have not been able use their spa, but plan to in the future. The attached spa tries to accommodate last minute oppointments with great customer service. I highly recommend this wonderful Inn to anyone, near or far!
Didn't go in walked past and looked in at oyster run and looks expansive. Heard they don't pay their employees on time so I won't support a place like that.
As an Anacortes native, I love this hotel. However it is important to know that the main building does not have air conditioning. Price is awfully steep for the size of room as well.
Majestic is a beautiful hotel with amazing sunset views on their rooftop bar. The staff is always very friendly and the building is cute with its charm and history.
The rooms are gorgeous, the bed is extremely comfortable, the atmosphere definitely gives off a couples vibe. the only negative is the elevator doesn't go to the 5th floor, but thats miniscule in comparison to how nice the place is. Oh, and they're also surrounded by a bunch of really great restaurants and bars!
The Majestic is a fantastic hotel in downtown Anacortes. It was well appointed and beautifully restored. The beds were comfortable and the staff was great!
Definitely not a fan, when you pay over 300 bucks for a room, you should be told a few things, the fire place doesnt work, and oh yea there is going to be a reception that will be playing music so loud that you can hear it clearly in your room til after 10.
I'll start with this, my kid has a sensory disorder, and when things become too loud he freaks out, so when i went to see if they could change rooms, they were booked, and then magically one was available because a guest had not checked in yet. The room was not comparable, we no longer had AC or a fireplace, and also did not have a kitchenette so we lost money on the food we had already bought for our stay. I guess what ruffles me the most, is that the managet on duty daid she was unable to make any compensation or refund some or any of the money we paid, she tried to make up for it with vouchers, and dont get me wrong, they were nice and dealt with me well, but i honestly was not satisfied. I hope communication with your customers become better, because for a beautiful and partly hostoric hotel, this was not what i was expecting for the money i spent.
I'll upgrade my star review if Majestic inn and spa actually responds, but i find it unlikely.
*** just a quick update, no one has responded.***
Fun hotel. This year we stayed in the older part! BEAUTIFUL. Friendly staff. Cldan and well appointed. BEST LOCATION in the old part of town. Really, you should stay here. Everytimg you could want within walming distance!
Very beautiful, very friendly, and in a perfect location downtown next to all the other historic buildings. Recently renovated I think? Either way looks amazing!
Great food along with a very pleasant room staff was very curtious
We loved out stay here! We had some dirty baby bottles by the sink, and housekeeping even washed those! It was a lovely gesture and made us so happy.
One of the best, try roof top Bar in season. Restaurant is great as well.
This place is fabulous. We had one of the rooms with the cool outdoor areas. Perfect.
Wow! Booked a special event at the Majestic - superb experience! The event coordinator, Cheyenne was wonderfully responsive and went out of her way to be accommodating and helpful. The Trio menu was delicious and reasonably priced. Wait staff genuinely cared about making our event fun and memorable. Highly recommend and thank you for making our event so special!
Staff made me feel like family. I was in a hurry to set up roses and other things in the room, and Felicia at the front desk got me checked in and on my way within 3 minutes. It was packed and busy because of valentines day but the staff made a point to welcome me, and interact whenever politely possible. The room was modern, yet cozy, and made for a fantastic valentines getaway. 10/10 will stay again.
Had a king suite upstairs, clean, modern but with vintage building charm, great staff. Worth the stay
Beautiful place to stay. Clean and comfortable with great view. Would definitely stay here again and again.
I went to the roof top to enjoy a beautiful night with family & friends. It was so wonderful. Everyone had a great time and stayed for hours enjoying the drinks. The drinks were professionally done and customer service was excellent. Prompt and friendly. The views are also very pretty and something special. It's also notable that it was warm, despite a cool breezy day, because there are fires in the middle of the group of couches and tables, set in stone pretty display of shiny rocks.
This is probably the best hotel in Anacortes. There are 2 buildings, one the original traditional building, while the other is modern and with air conditioning. These rooms are quite large and include a small kitchen and a fireplace. Masks are required in the buildings. The restaurant is serving indoors or for takeout.
Very nice rooms and a beautiful view from the rooftop bar
Was here for a wedding and everything was just beautiful
Got a drink from the bar. The bartender, Sean, was very quick, very nice, and made a very good drink!
The rooftop lounge offers a beautiful setting of cushioned couches, fire pits, potted grasses, and strings of lights that were surpassed only by the breathtaking views of the surrounding waters and islands! We can't wait to come back and try out the rooftop menu, grilled right there up top. We enjoyed a Friday evening just the two of us, along with a couple of casual conversations with others who joined us around the flickering fire pit, sipping wine, being cared for by amazing wait staff. We would give this another star if the lounge had stayed open after sunset, utilizing their fire pits, heat lamps and blankets for the chilly northwest evenings. We watched 3 parties of 4 or more arrive just as the sun was dipping, then sadly leave after being graciously told "last call" had already been made.
Majestic Inn and spa is amazing. I have been there twice. I have also traveled the world and have a lot of experience with hotels and motels. I am in a wheelchair They are very accommodating.Make sure you call ahead of time if you need the handicap accessible room because they only have two handicapped rooms and one is on the small side. The newest room is beautiful and perfect. Two queen beds and lots of room including a refrigerator, French press coffee, a small kitchen. Absolutely love staying there. The hotel is on the main Street so everything is walkable. Restaurants, shops, art galleries etc.
Loved this place. Unfortunately, i was here by myself on business. Quaint hotel in a quiet town even though there is a shipyard just down the road. Would be a great place for the family or an even better place for some quiet time with the right person!
Great place for a weekend getaway! Loved the hotel decor and the location.
Beautiful rooms and friendly helpful staff. My only qualm is the bed was a little hard and the toilet paper and tissues were very thin and rough
Mary O'Connor at the front desk was absolutely incredible and deserves every good thing. She was very professional and accommodating and I can't wait to come back to see her. 10/10 I absolutely loved working with Mary.
We were in desperate need of a hotel, because all the other hotels around were completely booked out. The two ladies working the front desk were very sweet in assisting my family and I to make sure we had a room. We walked in with low expectations only to be blown away by how nice their staff was and how awesome it was to have free french press coffee, a fireplace, and a great location in Anacortes, Washington. As for me, I loved this hotel, I would stay there in a heartbeat again over any other place in Anacortes. Very pretty facility. Loved it!
Beautiful hotel, GREAT wines, Best food wonderful staff!!
Went to the rooftop bar. Great service, beautiful view
Visited for a wedding. It was an outdoor wedding, in the courtyard, but rain changed the plans. The staff, so far as I got to see, were really helpful and accommodating. The food was amazing. The venue itself was beautiful, a good choice by the bride and groom.
Came in for their breakfast/brunch which was delicious! Was with a big party and they were a bit peculiar about moving tables for people to sit together, so maybe not a great place for big parties unless you have an exact reservation.
Didn't stay at the hotel, but it seemed like a beautiful place that would be fun to stay at.
Clean, comfortable, nice staff...right on a great stretch of restaurants and 12 minutes from the ferry.
Great location and good service. Restarant offered nice breakfast at a good price. Had Nice and pleasant overnight stay.
Loved this stay! The rooms were nice and clean. I loved the atmosphere and history of this place. The location was also very convenient as it was on the main strip of Anacourtes.
Great spot. Beautiful little town on the sea, local whale watch was fantastic. Very nice hotel with superb views and sunsets from the cupola and roof. Loved the rooms and beds. Nice staff. Would definitely stay again.
Amazing, classy and perfect room. Spa is high quality. Staff is super nice and professional. The quality of the resteraunt does not match the quality of the hotel. Had to get up to find the wait staff and the food was overpriced for the gourmet implied advertisement.
I love this hotel. I gave 3 star because the price is high compared to other hotel in same area.
Very nice accommodations. Fresh ground coffee and a French press in the room. One of a kind.
I ended up staying in the new building just adjacent to the historic hotel. The walls are very thin for a modern hotel, neighbors television was much to obvious for comfort.
Would definitely stay here again if I miss the ferry headed home.
Beautiful hotel and spa. Great massage and a lovely space to relax and enjoy.
I only ate breakfast here. The process are a little higher than other places close by, and the breakfast isn't anything to write home about. I don't think this is one of those places that has a chef on staff.
But, with the slightly higher price, you do get a very nice ambiance. This would be great place to go for a special occasion like meeting the future in laws or business.
The food is delicious and the service is amazing. I highly recommend it.
Love this place. Always a great time, historic building is my jam.
What a lovely place.
Excellent food. Only complaint was really loud Saturday night at the tavern across the street woke us. Convenient floor fan in the closet helped drown out the noise tho...
Friendly staff, had a minor maintenance problem that most hotels would probably have left until we checked out. Staff took care of it that day while we were out and about.
