2 stars just for lots of parking and large docks. Had an appointment at 6, was in line for 30 minutes, at 0620 when I got at the gate they told me that they have no door! How miserable, i had to go back. Then they give me a door after one hour on which I had to wait another 30 min. Then 2 hours to take out 1 pallet. Why do you make an appointment for so many trucks if you don't have that many doors?

Typical experience of lumpers at a food warehouse. They take FOREVER to unload. Obviously their fee doesn't reflect on accuracy or expediency. That would normally receive 2 stars.

The reason for 1 star is their ridiculous slow check in at the gate. I've been going there for over 6 years and typical check in at the gate takes at least 1 hour. So if you want to try to get detention, plan to get there extremely early. I think it's their BS way of getting out of paying for slow unloading.

All truckers should get together & stop hauling for Maine's! They are a rip off! They are THIEVES! Over charge for lumper service which they make you have! They quote one price to the brokers then another price to the truck drivers & it's always way more, several hundreds more! We need to make an example of this company & noone haul for them, make them get their own trucks & haul their own stuff! I'm so sick of theives ripping us hard workers off! They are basically making the truck driver pay to haul their product's! Drop this company!

Appointement at 6, they told me they dont have a door and go back to the parking lot. Received a call at 7, go to the door they gave me only to find out there is already a truck at my door, have to wait an other hour. Finally backed up at my door. Out at 11:15. Two stars for the nice dirt lot to spend the night and the porta-john.

Long long line for check in. Stupid people. Update got here at 3.30 am its 6.07 still on line

Ok..my error...turns out the electricity went out on em a few days before my delivery. .n that's what cause the delay..
Looks like they do quite a bit of sales/frieght there..amazing operating

My example: 1st stop Maine's (Aberdeen, MD) 10:00PM appointment, 2nd stop Maine's (Conklin,NY) 05:00 AM appointment.
It's SAME company, but different locations.

Ok, got unloaded at 1st stop at 03:00AM.

Question!??? How can I be here at 2nd stop, in Conklin ,NY at 05:00AM ? ( 237miles and at least 4 hours driving)

As result: " You lose your appointment. You have to come back tomorrow at 04:00 AM and pay us 300$ for resceduale your appointment"

P.S. Owner/s, management of Maine's paper&Food Service! Please, think what you doing, because there's a thousands of examples. If you'll continue the same way then nobody will work with you and nobody will respect your business!

Slow, unprofessional, and unorganized. No amount of money will get me to come here again.

Trucks enter off of Darden way. Use the far right lane as you approach the guard shack. Easy place to navigate. I had a 0600 appointment. Took 3 hours to unload and restack 6 pallets. Minimum 80 lumper fee. Overall good experience. Hope everyone reading this has a blessed day

Very bad company 2-am Appt: came back on 3-am we are in line almost 15 trucks 3:20 am still in line outside no body care the drivers

4 Hours after my appointment time waiting to be unloaded load has not been touched.
This is my 3rd time here, and each time I've ended up sleeping in the dirt lot at the end of the driveway after they burned up my 14

They unloaded me in about 1.5h,get there 1h before appointment,not earlier. A cross of the sign is big dirt parking but is not allowed to park.

Great company, I was treated with respect & was in & out...

This my 2nd time I never have any problems the gurd chek and the receiving people the was great on time so far I checked in at 7 am and the unload me 8:00 am my experience was different from the comments I read

Not to bad of a place backing can be tight. Because of trucks all down side. Unloaded quickly.

And i got out of the their gate at 8:45 AM
This is the fastest a receiver ever get me empty with a full load.

Warning!!! This place is very slow. Not good for live load delivery. My appointment was 8am and got check in at 6:30am. Been waiting all day just for couple filot. I don't know what are these people doing.I don't think they are working more like they are sleeping. This is my first time and I never come back again.

I had fast unload. The woman doing the paperwork for inbound drivers is just incredibly amazing. I could watch her all day how she works. She writes here and there, checks this and that, staples here and unstaples there, dials the phone, speaks while clipping papers or helping someone who approached her. She does that all so fast for dozen of waiting drivers and manages to keep cool and be nice and polite. She is one true hard working bee!

Arrived at 7.15 for 8 appt. Got door straight away. Was unloaded by 8. Mask required as of today. Dock can b tight if place gets bz. It wasn't the case though. Friendly people. . No overnight parking

Very tight getting in and out was very fast at unloading very glad other drivers where willing to help with getting backed in. Maines needs to under stand that we don't drive 48 footers and pup trucks like they do !

Actually didn't took too long to get me unloaded however the people that work here are rude specifically the window lady, whoever design this place is an idiot, spots are very tight and then they park their trucks across from the dock doors making it very difficult for a sleeper truck

What a cluster f# k no staging area and trucks backed up down the street line seemed to move fast enough tight parking spots for the docks and they'll never win an award for getting you unloaded in a hurry or on time forget about appointment times they'll get to you when they're ready

2 hours in line to check in 5 hours to unload. Day ruined. Truckers stay away if you can.

Cannot arrive more than an hour before your appointment, no overnight parking. If you arrive late there is a rescheduling fee, but they still accept you same day. Delivery is pretty slow, 12 skid's took 2.5 hours.

The reason why i give them 3 stars its for the 5$ checks because they free and 2 only cash. We dont all carry cash all the time!

Not that bad. Driver was unloaded in 2 hours. However he did go to check in an hour before his appointment after reading all the reviews.

This is my first time delivering here. What a cluster and the docks., dang. I only have 8 months exp but it is very tight here. Getting out of the dock is worse. Only arrive 1 hour prior to your appt time.

651 dollar lumper fee, makes drivers wait 2 hours in a holding line then says they are late at the gate, showed up at 5am for a 6am appt its now 230pm and I'm finally unloaded. This is a problem with every maines paper warehouse ive ever been too. I would highly suggest not hauling their product. The last maines paper warehouse i went to they tried to claim i backed into a fence when i clearly did not. This company is about as crooked as it gets.

Worst place if you coming here make sure you get good rate

In 25 years of being in the transportation industry, hands down by far this is the worst place I ve ever been to. I had a 3 AM appointment time you are not allowed to arrive before an our prior to your appointment. Security meets you in the street. Then has you go down the street to do a U-turn get in line to wait to check in at the front gate. It is now 3:53AM. I am still number 30 in line and the line hasn t moved yet to get in to even check it. That s just ridiculous, whoever runs this company needs to get fired. He or she is in the wrong business. So if you re coming here to deliver or pick up you better expect to be here half a day. I finally made it to the front gate to actually check in. It took two hours and 15 minuets to get the the gate and then they have you leave to go wait in the holding lot across the street. It s now two hours after my appointment time and I m still waiting in the holding lot, four trucks ahead of me here. Also I asked the person at the gate why they do it this way, he said if I don t like it to never come back. This place is a nightmare, I promise you this, I will never accept a lot coming here ever again.

There s no overnight parking in dirt lot across the street. Make sure you are here 1 hr before appt time. They got me in and out. 5am appt, done by 5:30 with a full load!

Extremely slow check in . Only allowed to arrive 1 hr prior to appt time . Arrived @ 0500 for 0600 appt , didn t get checked in at shack until 0630. Once I received my door it was a struggle to get into it because they have their equipment parked directly across from the docks. Take your time backing . It gets a bit chaotic especially when you are trying to back while others are inching forward to get to their dock doors. Didn t receive my paperwork back until 1035. Expensive lumper!

No over night parking Even though they will not leave you in front of the company that it has a large area for parking they will treat you very bad with the impolite manner

Zero! CEO of this facility has to leave! It's not for you, it's not your fault, it's nature's fault! Go home! Next time I'll not haul their load! I have 3 hr over appointment and they didn't start yet. Others drivers checking out after 6-7hr. Do not try to show up earlier than 1 hour before your appointment. They will not let you stay even on the dirt lot! They deserve a big 1 week without any deliveries to wake up!

I give this place one star because they have a place across the street and has a dumpster for trash and a port a John. Other that they need to close up shop because all the money they steal from truckers for lumper fees they could make this place bigger for drivers to back to doors. 0300 appointment rolled in at 0230 sat in line at the gate til 0400, that s when they decided to open. What s the point of making 3am appointments if you don t open til 4? Other then that it s an alright place was unloaded in under an hour

Guess safety isn t a top priority here. They seem to care more about money than the safety of the employees and visitors. Very dangerous parking lot to navigate through. The late fees make the drivers rush to make the appointment time, thus they are putting their lives in danger to get your product on time.

Will never come back. This place is a big freaking joke. No over night parking anymore. Can come in an hour early but don't check anyone in till an hour past ur appt time.

Horrible place 3am appointment and it's 4am and still not letting trucks in.

Worst place to deliver to. Can't park overnight and plan on being here at least 6 hours. Definitely a day killer. Backing into and leaving the docks is tight because they have their trucks parked in front of you. If you have another truck next to you with a sleeper it's hard to pull out. Been here for 7 hours now for 8 pallets and still not done. Thank good for detention pay.

I gave one star because of how ridiculous it was to back into my dock door. They have a huge parking lot outside the gate entrance that can be used for there company trucks. But they don't park them there. They park there company trucks right in the way of the dock doors. So I had to get my bumper right against the truck to even come close to swinging back in front of my trailer. To back in the door.

Just like all the other reviews. Unless you have time to kill, or have no choice, don t deliver here. 7 hours I ve been here and still waiting to be told my bills are ready. Not ever again

Got here at 5:30. Not allowed to show up more than 1 hour early. Waited in line till 07:09. Pull to dirt lot till 09:30. Out by 14:00. Rescheduling 2 other drops for tomorrow sometime. This place sucks.

Like most commercial businesses today , not trucker friendly. Your time does not matter

The finished company and the finished security, having a large yard before leaving, do not allow drivers to stand there. Drivers try to deliver the goods on time in any weather, and here is such a "gratitude" from the company. The company management should be ashamed of this attitude to drivers and to our common cause.

I haven't been here since Binghamton got the 36" of snow in 48hrs. YOU CAN NO LONGER PARK IN GRAVEL LOT ACROSS THE STREET, OVER NIGHT, THEY WILL CALL THE COPS. You can't use 'I am out of hours" excuse either,(personal conveyance) Ny doesn't care. This place is slow at getting you checked in, slow at unloading, ridiculous lumper fees. Glad I scheduled my last stop for the following day.... My last time coming here.

Waouu this place is crazy. My Appointment is 9:00, and i got here at 8:00. There was a long line at the guard check that i couldnt check in until 9:00, about 1 hour trying to check in. After i got check in with the guard, he sent me through in and then park on the side and wait for 2 hours to get me a door. Now i got into the door i spent a lot of hours they were not even touch anything in my trailer. Waste my time almost all my 10 hrs break in the door and not making any money. Not good place for quick delivery, truckers

This is the worst place to deliver to they have a big dirt lot down by the guard shack but you can no longer park there because the guards don't want to be overwhelmed with trucks when they open don't ever take a load here its NY at it worest.

Showed up on time and was turned away told to come back at 3am. Came back and took 3 hrs to unload then asked for a $410.00 unloading fee. Dock workers took my new load locks. Lost somewhere. Plan on losing money if you come here. Rates should be double to deliver here.

Worst food company even seen in US. Don't even try them if you're serious running your business. You order from they bother deliver it. they tell you it will delay 24 hrs, 48 hrs, 72 hrs, then it never happens and you run out of food till you close your restaurant on customers.

They have overnight parking is a big parking lot before you go up there driveway I've been to this place many of times and had no problem usually there for about two hours and if I still need time I go back down the hill and go back to bed they provide Porta-Potty and a dumpster so you can properly use the bathroom and take out the trash

They notify you about miss appt. I miss appt on 2 hours they not take the money just reschedule on next day delivery
