Magnolia Manor Of Greenwood Review

This is not a good place. My mother was abused,neglected and in the end undernourished for months. They stole from her and they have a system in place that allows them to do it. They have some good people who know they are out numbered by the bad. Only God can shut them down. I plan to tell my mothers story all over the region. My goal is for them to change how they are or shut down. The staff as a whole is not fit to oversee the care of rats so,put your loved one there at your own risk. They as a whole are WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING.

I don't know much about this place but my grand mother is here. I would like to hear from others how the facility is and the staff that will be caring for my grandmother .

When I went there for physical therapy for a server foot injury. I didn't know what to expect.After my 14 day state required quarantine I started physical and occupational therapy. When I first got there I could barely go 5 feet to the bathroom with a walker, when I left 33 days later I was walking up to 400 feet with a walker and able to climb up 12 stairs unassisted. They were nothing but kind and Caring to me. They may have had issues in the past but seem to be working them out.
Btw the smell that was mentioned, the CNA brought air fresher's from home, paid for by them to help combat the smells. I can't speak of anyone elses experiences but my own.

The Mothers Day Tea was very nice. The ladies put a lot of effort into it and everyone had a wonderful time. The facility seems to be getting back on track.

TWO MONTHS AGO
This used to be a clean and wonderful place. Now it smells like urine everytime i visit. My grandmother is always alone and has fell several times. The alarm they had on her wasn t even turned on. I don t t know what has happened in the last year but it continues to worsen.

It smells awful and not enough people to help with the residents. Some good people there but not a good place to be for care.

My sister has cancer and was place in Magnolia Manor for therapy in hopes she would get to go home. She was left in the bed for 4 1/2 days without getting her up. When they got her up (that was her therapy according to the PT) she had no plan for any other therapy. Obviously understaffed, she had to wait 2 hours for a pain pill. The place smells horrible. This is definitely not a - get what you pay for place.

This nursing home has a very well trained and friendly staff and environment

Mistake I made was not Reading the other complaints before we accepted the bed. We were desperate for a total care bed for a skill patient. OurExperience was not good.Good management starts at the top.You must have enough staff . They explained every 2 hoursthe rule to be checked on, that was bull.Staff stretched too thin.
