Great food. Recommended to friends the next day. Staff was cool too!

Food was great but we waited an excessive amount of time after finishing our food for our waitress to check on us so we could ask for the check. Also the waitress never offered to refill my coffee.

The food was great and they opened the roof deck in the the middle of February

A charming little rooftop deck in Harvard Square on a cool summer night. That's why I liked it. The food was delicious as well.

Daedalus is a bit more on the upscale (read expensive) side but has a large selection of good beers and decent food. I've never had a bad experience there!

In addition, it's only one of two rooftop bars in Harvard Square. Although if you're deciding between the two rooftops (Felipe's is the other), they are very different atmospheres. Daedalus being a bit more on the calmer side.

Good place to grab a drink after work and hang out on the roof.

Wasn't too big a fan of this place. The drink selection was decent but we were sitting outside on the patio and had a little trouble ordering at times because it was a little chilly and windy which made the server stay indoors.

We made a reservation and asked to be seated outside. We had waited 20 min after the hostess telling us it would be 15 min to get a table outside. She seated us inside saying they had no tables outside. We then waited even more to have our food orders placed. The food was so bad and so overpriced.. I will never go there again

Ehhhhh expensive but food on par with places like Grendel's closer in to Harvard square, for less than half the price.

Fantastic food, outstanding service, wonderful ambiance

Great food! Shared with my son a Baked Brie and Pear salad as well as the Salmon. Both were fantastic. Beer choices are a little limited but the unfiltered IPA was great.

Good food, nice rooftop patio, OK draft beer and wine selection, service was on the slow side. Took 15 minutes or so to get a food order in, then another half hour or so for the food to arrive. For a place with limited seating, I'd think keeping the orders (and thus the customers) moving would turn over tables faster and cut down on the wait...

Very well kept and welcoming place. They provide large meals and for affordable rates. We liked the meals very much and the waiters were very welcoming and informative. Highly recommended.

Loved the molten chocolate dessert! Nice rooftop patio for brunch!

Good Terrance space. Food was good as well. I would recommend it for some light food and beverages like fries, bruschetta, mozzarella plate etc. Portions may not appeal to everyone so please your server when placing order.

I've been twice, with people who love it, but the dishes I've had have been mediocre in execution. Risotto not creamy and satisfying - i.e. not cooked well. 3 stars is harsh, but 4 seems generous. Service etc was fine.

Great place to grab a drink and some appetizers with friends. The patio was very crowded, but the inside seating upstairs was still really nice.

We came early on Friday night, so were seated quickly by a friendly host and had the sweetest server (cannot remember his name, sorry!) Food arrived quickly...was tasty and fresh.

What made our experience unforgettable was how helpful the staff was when one of our cars broke down. I returned to the restaurant to ask if they had any tools we could borrow, and they were more than willing to let us borrow them. I was incredibly impressed by their empathy and kindness! We need more of that in our world.

Beautiful atmosphere to share an evening with close friends. We didn t order much food it wasn t bad can t speak too much on the entrees. More than anything, I was happy they had a decent whiskey selection in comparison to most restaurants. The ambiance is most definitely the Daedalus most favorable quality.

Food was good, the location is great and they have a good atmosphere. Our server was attentive but the food took much longer than expected. I would go back unless I m under a time constrain.

The food was good if not too special. Two biggest pluses are a rooftop patio and the lack of crowds considering it was the lunch time during the weekend

The outdoor patio is amazing. The Fish and chips are great but the rest of the food is average.

I really love Daedalus for the following reasons:
1) The rooftop
2) The steak salad

I've always had pleasant interactions with the waitstaff, except once when my table of three wasn't offered any bread. However, this was remedied when I asked my waiter if he could bring some, and he did.

The place is poorly lit (the last time I was there, my friend had to hold his iPhone to the menu so I could read it), and the prices are a little steep (around $15 per entree), but I'm still a fan.

Good drinks, disappointed with how early the kitchen closed in comparison to how late the place was opened. Waitress also didn't tell us when it was closing so didn't get a chance to order food. Nice atmosphere, friendly bar tender.

Definitely go for the food, and you must check out the rooftop bar. Great place to go during the summer with all your friends.

This place is right near Harvard. Has a very large rooftop sitting area, and a first and second floor bar. Service was friendly and quick.

Fun spot in Harvard square. The rooftop is in of the best around, however the wait is often ridiculous so plan accordingly.

Came here to grab some food and drinks at the bar with former work colleagues. Opted for the chicken salad, which I thought was just okay.

Never had a bad time here. Staff is always friendly. Yummy, filling meals. Try the spiced apple cider on a cool fall night and thank me later!

Good drinks and service. Very nice rooftop for the summer. It is a little bit slow to get a table, great if you are not in a rush.

I don't fault a place less than stellar service given the circumstances, I do fault putting an auto grat on a two top to make up for it. Personally I was going to overtip even though the experience was poor, and come back on another time. But if that's how the restaurant is handling it? I think I'll avoid it altogether.

Can I give zero stars? I found the staff incredibly rude. Aside from insulting me personally (implying several things about me which I d rather not repeat), they refused to serve me anything but beer and mocked me for ordering other drinks. Absolutely unacceptable service and employees.

Nice place to have a drink, especially on sunny days to enjoy the roof neck. The drink menu is not surprising.

There is a great rooftop area for lunch and dinner. Also great for having a cocktail up there.

Food was great and the service was even better! Dillon was our server and did a an excellent job. The owners are great people as well. Definitely worth every penny and will be coming back again with!

Ordered the fish and chips. Prices were a bit high and portions were small, but the ambience of the rooftop deck was incredible. Staff was very attentive.

What an awesome place!! I had heard for a while that this place was great especially when it's nice outside because they have the amazing roof deck which doesn't disappoint. The place is multiple levels with the main bar on the second floor next to the outdoor deck. Staff is extremely nice, drinks are made well, and the prices are pretty reasonable. They also have a pretty good selection of whiskeys which surprised me. As far as food goes we only had the sweet potato fries and mussels but both were excellent. I don't know if I would go to this place in the winter or not though because the main attraction is the outdoor area.

I couldn't finish my meal it was so salty. I like salty food but this was inedible. Other dishes orders were fine but everything is vastly overpriced for the quality. Good drink menu though.

American mixed menu. I had chicken kebab, with a sour cream tzatziki sauce and fries. Good basic ingredients and pleasant presentation. My friends had a tasty looking fish and chips, and salmon. Probably better for pub food like the fish and chips or burgers, as you would expect for a restaurant near a college. Small, cozy, intimate setting on two floors, easy walk from the T. Easy to see in traffic but that's usually meaningless since parking is nearly impossible, so plan any Cambridge trip by T if you can. Small and would not be easy to maneuver a wheelchair. Cozy, romantic, and popular with students.

Good atmosphere for late night drinking with friend

We had the absolute BEST time here on Sunday Night (3-31). We sat upstairs, the views were awesome and the waitress was unbelievable, very attentive, very friendly, a sweetheart. The food was great. Two of us had the Veggie Burger and we both said it was the Best Veggie Burger we have ever had. Everyone loved their meals. Can't wait to go back on our next visit to Cambridge!! Thank You!!

Best place with most friendly people. If there is a more than 5 stars rating o would have it to Daedalus!

Food is mediocre, service was great, roof deck is nice, but not any interesting views but it's still nice to eat outside.

Great little hide away with fabulous food and service.

Went here and "the system was down". Had the most uncomfortable situation with both of the bartenders on the roof. 1) first bartender told me to find an ATM to pay my tab. Ok? Kind of unprofessional but 2) went to said ATM, withdrew money, paid for my next drink and said "thanks dude". Bartender got super offended and thought I said something profane which was insane.

Find another rooftop bar.

Awful service. Impossible to imagine how it can be worse. If you like being ignored. If you like bored looking staff disinterested in you. Come here.

Great atmosphere. Rooftop is nice, but I was expecting the bar to be outside. There is a bar inside on the 1st and 2nd floors. We got rum and pineapple drinks $10/each.
