Not a good company at all, please don t apply, RUN FOR YOUR DEAR LIFE!!! Don t say you weren t warned...

This company is straight up garage. Dispatchers in the same room and dont talk to each other about business but they do talk to play around while on the phone They have ppl that they like who can do no wrong when they are the worst there They need to stop sexing up the staff and getting them pregnant I left this company because its messy shameful and a dishonest Im so much better at the next company it didnt take them long to see that im a top of the line hard worker

They are good for beginners but they treat you as if you have no education and you are beneath them I dont play that I know when you are trying to treat me like I am dumbfounded but that is not correct but they are ok for beginners

It was great place. Madison security make you feel safe. The employee treat you like family. I will recommend anybody to work for this great corporation.

This company sucks. No direct deposit. And if they tell u there a union there is no union. Ms. Holloway is a straight up liar. Don't trust this company they do not care about the security guards..

A a tenant, I am very disgusted with the security in my building, 3 in particular. They are extremely rude, abrasive, and the supervisor is the most unprofessional. If I could give a rating less than 1 star, I would. What landlord hires security from a company with a 2.1 star rating. Would you stay in a hotel with a poor rating?? Disgusting!!!!!

When I started in Yonkers, I started at$12 an hour going through some of the most dangerous locations and buildings you can imagine. Then I was promoted to field supervisor but still making $12 an hour. I was told if I want more money to work overtime and I was already working 12 hours a day. I was never properly trained to do the work they wanted me too and I was fired because of it. The worstcompany ever invented is Madison Security Group. We need to start reporting g this company to the better business bureau and workforce development. These people are committing crimes against their employees and they need to be stopped.

This company is very reliable and professional. I recommend all the guys that work here for any kind of security job.

They are very unprofessional, they talk down to you and when they need something they act like they your friend but when you need help with a problem in you schedule they real quick to take you off the schedule and tell you go into the office at HR and really the only person you can talk to is the same petson that hired you his name is Mr. Moore and he is supposedly the only one you can talk to about anything and they will have you wait from 9am to 4pm for a 2 min convo With him. They don't know how to run a company
They act like they above you. I only gave one star because i couldn't give a half star. Not worth working for them at all.

Worst company ever! They give attitude when you try to explain your issues. During a snowstorm when everything is shut down they expect you to get to work with no way to get there with buses not running and cabs and non-emergency vehicles taken off the road.

I had two major posts at Madison Security for a period of two and a half years. One of them was a busy hospital post, a rewarding place I was part of the hospital staff anyway and was able to assist when asked. And also assisted the fire department on many occasions with alarm calls. Another was a technological building. Third shift post. That's what your patients came in.
They always kept me busy and for the most part could handle my schedule requests. It's not an easy job, it takes patience and the right attitude.

Ppl in the office rude if your new you get sent to the worst location dont waist ya time

Good for the people who just got there license and want to get there feet wet. The pay isnt the best but you cant expect top pay for entry-level experience.

Get here for my interview at 8:35 went upstairs and was told that I have to stand outside until its 9a.m LOL now usually when i go on interviews and im early I have never been told to go stand outside as if im a wet dog thats not allowed in More

As a Property owner Manager, I find Madison's value and professional services to be the best in NYC. I have dealt with many security companies over my 26 years of management/ownership of properties, and I have yet to find such a value and quality in Guard Service

Let's still for 5 years then upgrade to a better position within the company.

Worked here for a while; it's not a terrible company, but it does need improvements. Here's what you should expect from this company: You pay for your uniforms. Every 2 weeks your check will have extra deductions on it for a "union". There are no paid holidays and to get overtime is extremely difficult. The dispatchers are decent, but if you don't do them a favor, they play with your hours. There are no benefits or paid sick days. They also pick and choose who they want to give extra money to. I started off at minimum wage with no experience, but my friend who works at another site makes two dollars more and she didn't have experience either. All in all, it's a decent place to start and gain some security experience, but it's not a company that offers much. If you are single with no dependants, you should be looking at about $650 every two weeks after taxes and "union fees" at minimum wage, 40 hours a week. Additionally, this company does not offer direct diposit or any type of debit card program. If you do not work on pay day, then you are required to go to the office and pick up your check in person. Lastly, if you work 80 hours in 2 weeks, they will only pay you for 75 hours because they do not pay you for your meal breaks.

Not only is this the worst security company I ve ever worked for this is possibly the worst job I ve ever had. One Friday they didn t deliver my check to the site so I called dispatch they continuously hung the phone up on me and told me you acting like u never got a check before relax mind you all I was trying to do was find out where my check was because the normal routine up until that point was check at the site every other Friday. Also the managers treat you like children even if your in your late 20s 30s , they have no respect for staff.

They will mess up your whole schedule and if you try to complain about anything they will just have you on hold.they also don t have respect for anybody

they are scumbags. i got hired as assistant director of of site. the main director quit. over the phone the head of the company called me and gave me the head director position. sid he would come down to seee me personally about the raise. never did. and everytime i called, it was yeah ill see you next week. untill they wanted to get rid of me and sent different mangers to my site clocking my every move and givving me writes up over nothing to create a justifiable paper trail, until i was called into the office and fired and on top of that i was denied unemployment.

I will give this disgusting company 0 stars DO NOt go here !!! Ms. brown is a ghetto. "Operations manager " she is disgustingly ghetto !!!! Beyond ghetto do not waste your time.

The company is still better than nothing, but some of the supervisor were crazy, they don't know how to talk to people and everyone deserves respect......... supervisor gonna patrol with you during tour and taking trash on the floor around the premises putting it in a bag to sell at rover park... 2am to 10am..

Horrible company the staff is very unprofessional everything is a gossip and who's sleeping with who. The field supervisors like to mess with the guards even the good ones and get them fired. This company has employed homeless people with mental illness, sex offenders and con artist trust me I was an SEU for two years there and saw the be in the company and I quit because this company is below mine and professional people's standards if you want to work here go for it they Will hire anyone I know because I have worked with these sick people. It's only good to get the experience on you're resume.

This company should be -0 stars. That would be a better assessment. Ask you for $36 just to apply. Don't believe what they advertise for salary and benefits. Mr. Gates unprofessional, petty and deceitful. Once in the door they start insulting your intelligence and abuse their position. Further investigation of this company shows high loss of cliental. Meaning high and low flux of work and pay rate. NOT consistent and reliable source of income. Untrustworthy from the very beginning. Don't waste your time, experienced or just starting security.

if you are struggling in life and this company is the only company that s hiring , choose struggle. This company is the meaning of struggle. The favoritism in this company is real , even if you have a schedule with them they will be sending you to another location last minute , the only thing that s on point is the uniform. DON T DO IT !

I went there to just fill out an application and decided not to finish the process LOL guys its pretty bad. The staff, the pay. Mind you, 8 people resigned while I was there to fill out an application.

The pay is excellent and the employees are very generous... especially the higher ups.

1) CALL THE LABOR DEPARTMENT ON THIS COMPANY!!!!

2) TAKES MONEY OUT YOUR CHECK FOR A UNION THAT DOES NOTHING FOR YOU!!!

I have worked with lots of security company and i must say madison security is a nightmare dont even think of it , rude and bossy surpervisors, rude despatchers, they only talk nice when they need you, no overtime, no direct deposit, you have to travel to the office on every pay day for your paycheck, and the take you out of schadule when they feel like.

Good security company, they treat people with care and understanding.

Minus some of the staff that work in Esplanade Gardens ... this comoeny knows who is gambling, smoking marijuana, sleeping in our staircase, and who live here and don't and yet does nothing to keep a handle on some of those folks. It is just crazy! And some of their staff are disrespectful and forget who pays them to do their jobs.

Please stay away I wouldn't recommend them to a dog never in my life I dealt with an unprofessional company such as this one and they want you to be professional lol i quit the first couples weeks and they wouldn't even give me my last check what a joke.

We recently switched from another security company to Madison due to their reputation of handling the toughest residential communities in NYC. Their guards, along with sweeps from their Special Enforcement Unit really cleaning up our community. We feel so much safer. The hands on managers and field supervisors are also a breath of fresh air compared to the lack of such with our previous company.

I feel and I believe that Madison security is a great company. I have had the pleasure to speak and encounter with some of the staff as well as the owner of the company, and the few times that I have been assisted everything has been handled in a smooth and professional manner. If in the future you may need a security company you should definitely consider the Madison security group, they are reliable, knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Unprofessional. Owner cursed me because I asked one of his employees to mention for him to wear a mask as he didn't have one on. Staff proceeded to talk about me as I was leaving. Also. I was called for an interview a few weeks ago to come in today. I called yesterday to confirm again. When I sat down earlier today to interview. The position wasn't available. No explanation as to what happened.

Madison security is horrible. Went in for an interview got hired and ended up just leaving. Manager is disrespectful, acts like he s better than others. Worst company to deal with. My email was flooded with invitation from this security company. Three week later I walked in for an interview despite my gut feelings about them. Upon arrival I was greeted in a non amicable manner. The representative in the front desk decided to quote She said that she received a phone call to what I said which is I have been receiving emails to come in for an interview. I told her I said emails and not phone calls and she said that s not what I heard. She yelled at the pitch of her voice to me. Something told me the company is unprofessional all along. The lady in the little tiny office is standing next to her telling her that it s not worth it. You heard me this is the style of communication frequency transmitted from one worker or possible-owner to a next. She did almost nothing to handle herself despite twice the other lady wavered her hand in some kind of signal to stop being purposely intimidating or point blank belligerent. I had the audacity to tell her it takes two to tango.

Instead of efficiently adhering to courtesy and professionalism , I was bashed even further. A male boss who sits 6 feet away from the receptionist flipped the coin to make it seem as if I am the one who conflicted with his staff. That s how they get down to immediately point a full hand without asking to explain on my part. I could not have sit in that place and let them or him disparage me any further. It s not meant for me. I dropped they paperwork as if I was in a horror movie and literally ran out of there. It felt so good outside when I got out knowing that I m free. Anything but having any interest in Madison Security. They don t deserve me. If I had to add full flavor, this is the kind of company that would mess up my paycheck by acting and switching parts. It s not worth it.

As I see the company is bad news. In the case, they are 3 pea in pod. They themed up to ridicule and disparage me before anything else. First Impression gives the last- Call it an old s maid tale or a very vague superstition. The feelings that twirls your stomach from anything-Well Trust It! They are mere bullies!

The black and hispanic women that run this company have the most disgusting attitudes. They are rude, loud, and obnoxious. They constantly threaten to take you "off the schedule" if you so much as ask to be treated with a little bit of decency. They shouldn't be employed. Join at your own risk. I were a Former Employee the residents were nice again it s always your fellow employees. I had to leave this job due to workplace harassment by a female who thought she was all that. This company is extremely unprofessional there is no growth within in company on their web site it says paid holidays when they dont pay holiday when signing the paper work they give you a paper to donate money to the company every month the union dont help you with anything and every if you dont wsnt to join the union they will still take money from you on hire I ask to have a copy of all the paperwork I filed out they told me I CAN NOT HAVE A COPY OF MY PERSONAL PROFILE RECORDS if it was a problem they can not hire me. they have you move around from place to place all the time on top of that the pay is bad they dont do direct deposit even if you have your CPN or F-02 they whill keep you at regular pay if you have an F-80 they might put you at $15 an hour if you have your armed license they will put you at $18 if you ask if the have armed positions they will tell you no when they really do they have no respect for military veterans at all HR is extremely unprofessional as well they like to talk down on people and belittle people and make them feel uneducated even if you have a college degree they still pay you at a low rate the co-worker like to come late and are disrespected to female workers they say they are big on sexual harassment when they do it themselves I had a supervisor text my wife in the morning calling hey mommy asking what time is she going so he can see her and s Male co-worker asking if he can run her butt this company is good if you need quick cash and only staying no less then 3 months other then that I would not recommend anyone to this company I have right to say what I am say I been with them for 1 year I only stood this long to see if things would change when it didn't

I've worked for this company for 8years now and since day one they have been professional and fair with me. As long as you do your job there is no issues, I see others here complaining but I have personally had nothing but respect for this company.

I work in the Hylan plaza in Staten Island and this security company is the one the plaza uses. John is the only guard who consistently goes in and out of every business to make sure the employees are safe as well as the customers. Due to COVID-19 he is making sure everyone is masked & social distancing. The other guards just sit in the corner on their phone all day. Saturday I watched as 2 mangers from this company rip him away like a criminal. He makes sure all property is safe as well as the people around it. He makes us all feel more secure while the other guys do nothing. Thank you John for always checking in on us ! I hope your company sees what a mistake this is.

Hate it here I work there and they don t give no hours and they play with your money and they don t care if you have kids or not they expect you to come in to work
