It was a beautiful place to walk through and our family really enjoyed being able to bring our dog.
Nice place. $15 admission too steep for what is there.
Lovely gardens, although seems a bit expensive. If you bring a stroller I recommend a jogging stroller because a lot of the trails are gravel. They have a children's area and large bathrooms, but no changing tables! Overall a nice place to visit.
Beautiful place to visit, look forward to seeing it again.
Beautiful, chapel open to the public for free, gardens themselves are expensive
The Christmas lights are well worth the money. My family had a great time. They have free hot chocolate. You can also purchase other food and drinks.
Good place to visit with family. They offer free baby stroller for the visit, that impressed me.
This is a must see/experience when visiting Hot Springs!
We spent the better part of the day there. It was beautiful. They are decorating for Christmas and it will be magical when it's done. If you are looking for a unique place to get married, check this out. I can't wait for spring to go again. Here are some pictures from our adventure. Enjoy them.
Great place lots of patha an wide variety of plants
Went for the Christmas light show. So beautiful...
Absolutely beautiful and peaceful! Worth taking the time to explore
Awesome place! We spent hours walking and playing in the gardens. The tree house is truly beautiful! Neat grottos for the kids to splash in when the weather is warm. We cannot wait to attend the Christmas light display after Thanksgiving.
It was worth going to help inspire your own garden. Plus a nice nature walk.
Went to the holiday light display and it was GORGEOUS!! There were numerous families there and was a great environment. Except!!! The gift shop was 95 degrees and it made me mad. Does the air conditioning not work?? Just because it's December doesn't mean that you can't turn the air on. I loved every peacock ornament they had. The lights were amazing. It is. Must see. The only major bad thing was parking. We had to walk 5 miles to get to our car. The flute concert in the chapel was beautiful!
A beautiful nature walk with well manicured grounds.
This place is amazing. The golf cart tour is expensive, but the tour guide was amazing and a lot of fun!
The gardens are even more beautiful this time of year. The leaves are changing and falling.
Beautiful!! Very well kept, I'm planning on getting a season pass here.
Been there many times with family and friends! Always a wonderful experience no matter what time of year you go! This is the first time however, that we went to the Christmas lights and it was spectacular!
It's obvious that a lot of effort and creativity get spent here... Truly amazing sights.
The Christmas lights were absolutely amazing!!! Alittle crowded but worth the wait.
Amazing. Beautiful garden's. Can't wait for spring to see all the flowers.
Always a favorite stop of ours when we visit Hot Springs. Especially cool when they paint little faces on some of the stones and hide them throughout the gardens. My daughter freaks out with excitement when she finds one. Love this place!
The Christmas lights were among the best I've ever seen, like, Disneyland level cool. Easily worth the price of admission, and I'd highly suggest anyone with kiddos go check it out.
This has been on my bucket list and it was absolutely breathtaking. We did not have enough time to do the Botanical Gardens but that just means I get to go back. I'm from Texas this would be well worth the trip back.
A great place!!! It is beautiful year round, something new each visit!
Great place to spend weekend or day off... Naturally very beautiful.. Friendly staffs and good sandwiches at cafe!
Always beautiful even when not in full bloom. I enjoy the walks, the streams, little water falls, view of the lake, as well as, the convenience of restrooms.
So beautiful and the Christmas lights are just amazing!
Gorgeous little spot in the middle of nowhere, Arkansas. Like the Secret Garden.
Beautiful location and well maintained. Wasn't aware of entrance fee so just visited Anthony's Chapel which was accessible and comfortably air conditilned.
A beautiful setting especially in the spring when the tulips and daffodils are in bloom.
just walking with nature .if u want fresh air.but too long for a walk nothing exciting
A lot of fun and very beautiful to visit this Christmas.. cannot wait to visit again during the spring
I love this place. Even my 13 year old son liked it. Wooded. Nice walkways between sections. Beautiful flowers, bonsai trees, and even a fairy garden. Very cool new children's tree house. Must see.
I went here for Christmas, to see the trail of lights. It was cool, but there were way too many people.
I travel and have gone to a lot of these type places, luckily a lot of them accept your Garvin Gardens membership. Even the one in Dallas, which is nice, does not compare to the efforts put in to this place. I absolutely love this place and will come here as long as I live even if I have to fly in from another state to get here.
So much to do there. Our kids (5 and 1.5) had a blast. The chipmunk cafe is pretty good and reasonable priced.
We love the gardens, the Koi, bridges, streams, trees, flowers and the glass and wood church...
This is such a wonderful place to bring your family to. Lots of beautiful flowers to look at and a great atmosphere to take families to. The Chipmunk Cafe was very good food. Their staff was awesome. I asked for a bowl for water for my dog, and she took time away from what she was doing to find my Chihuahua something to drink on such a warm day.
Beautiful gardens, lots of different flowers and foliage to see. Lots of shaded paths that were flat so not to strenuous in the heat unless you go onto other hiking paths. Many paths were small gravel, closed shoes recommended unless you want to have little stones in your sandals. I found that out, but there are many benches to sit on to remedy that problem.
Bring some water. Excellent 1 mile walk with great sights. Staff was great with the kids.
Wonderful walking trails that are wheelchair accessible.
Beautiful place and so much fun during the holidays when it is all lit up.
There is not much to see honestly, and to be true $ 15 the entrance is a lot, I do not recommend it on days with high humidity.
Ohh the tranquility and beauty of this place, especially in the fall. You HAVE to come here, y all. It s worth every penny. It s clean, quiet, very well taken care of, and spacious! The colors of all the foliage was amazing! It was by far the best part of my first trip to Hot Springs!
went there around 8pm. parking is not a problem any more. Very cool nice light show. Dress warm and enjoy!
The Christmas lights are a yearly tradition for my family.
Serene, peaceful and beautiful this was a lovely walk of peace and nature at a great level of beauty.
The most beautiful day and weather for our first visit to Garvan Gardens. So peaceful and wonderful walk.
This place has got to be the BIGGEST JOKE!! They are unorganized and very irresponsible with parking policies. We drove here tonight and got in line at 6:30 pm right by they sign that said "1 mile to go". Sat in line for and hour and 30 min. and finally decided to get out and walk bc of a sign that said ".75 mile to go". After walking OVER a mile we got to the turn in of the main entance at the bottom of a large hill. While walking I noticed there were cars parked in the middle of the road and just left there. There were people saying they had been trapped for over 2 hours because of the idiots that decided to park in the middle of the road. We were advised we had another 20 min. walk till we got to the main entrance! Keep in mine it was now 8:15 and they close at 9! Their was no one directing traffic, not a worker in sight. We finally decided that with a 1 and 6 year old we would just turn back. As a parent it was the hardest thing ever to look at my 6 year old and tell him we wouldnt be seeing lights tonight. Many people told us they drove many hours to come see the lights and waited for hours in line only to be let down.
Love love love this place . The beauty is mystical!
Truly Breath Taking! Everyone in our family enjoyed the wonderful time we have from the youngest to the oldest! All staff were friendly and helpful from the parking lot all the way in.... Our Christmas was made very special what are visit to the gardens
It is absolutely beautiful. Definitely a site to see. $15.00 for an adult is a little pricey for me. They only give a discount for active duty soldier not retired soldier's. I guess once a soldier always a soldier don't mean anything to them.
Was a dream come true for me. Bonus was that my children were there with me!!
Beautiful garden and trails. Be sure to pack a lunch and enjoy the day in the gardens. We went in mid March and the tulips (95,000 of them) we're in bloom. Can't wait to go back again.
