Was recommended to Erick the salesman by a friend. Was happy to see so many positive reviews on him. I called and asked for price on a Pilot. He gave me a price -- another Honda dealer called me with a lower price. I got back to Erick with this but he seemed annoyed and couldn't go lower. And so he started to talk to me like I was his son. I stopped him before he can attempt to scold me any further and he hung up on me. What kind of customer service is this?

Not a great salesman at all. Do yourself a favor and go to Mahwah Honda. They have better manners and prices. I did.

My service is always great. Customer service is excellent. I only have one cimplaint... it happens often...i always have a problem with my settings when I leave there. For instance, once I had my oil changed and the display wasnt updated so my check engine light was still on. I noticed it the next day and had to back to have it fixed (I wasnt aware of how to do it myself then). My previous visit was for an oil change and tire rotation, the settings for the oil was updated, but not for the tires. I had to get the manual out to find out how to turn off the tire notification. And my radio settings were turned off, I was actually sitting in line, waiting to get back in the shop when I figured out how to fix it. 10mins wasted. I'm not that savey with the technology of the car so it would be great if they took the extra step in making sure to reset all the settings when they are done. Other than that, I have no complaints. I will continue to use Madison Honda for all my service needs.

She is not pushy nor will she rip you off! You can find her at Madison Honda right on the sales floor. Do not hesitate because of previous car buying experiences. She will make it easy and seamless.

Nick Wood was our salesmen and we were very happy. He kept our purchase simple and transparent. We paid the price of the car period. The only other person we had to speak with was the finance manager to review our contract. While reviewing the contract, he nor did the salesman attempt to manipulate or add on extra fees to it. e.g. Service Charge

I had a terrible experience. I dropped my car off and wanted to wait but they said it would take hours and gave me a loaner which was nice. But the guy tried to charge me $500 just to check the AC. I was not paying that. Not to mention the service I received was completely overcharged. They said they would clean my car with the service and it came back dirtier than it was before. I picked it up and the tire pressure light came on. They said they just had to reset it and then it came on again. I am not happy. I paid a lot of money for the services and did not get my money s worth. I am disappointed in this Honda dealership and won t go back.

How this dealership got 4+ stars is beyond us. If I could give them lower than 1 star we would. Going to dealerships to buy/lease a new car is bad enough with what we call the vultures descending but here we couldn't even get an eyelash batted at us. Visited Madison Honda last night, walked in passing 2 - 3 salespeople who didn't even look our way and approached the car we were interested in where a salesman was leaning on the car. The salesman (don't know his name cause he never introduced himself) at least asked us what we wanted but was in no way interested in really spending time with us. He answered a few questions while sitting at his desk or up pacing the floor,, but with the minimal information. Another women came in after us and was looking at the same car, she got the same treatment from the same salesman. He did ask us if we wanted to test drive it and told me some of the color choices but no offer to work up numbers for us. We left, no "please come back soon" no "thank you", no business card, nothing. My husband went back today, giving them a second chance and got an even worse response. No one approached him, no one spoke a word to him, nothing. We would have signed a contract either day if there was any interest shown on Madison Honda's part. Very surprised since we had 2 people recommend them to us.

Had a very nice experience buying my car. My salesman, Paul Fuchs, was a very nice guy who was funny, not pushy, and quick. All said and done (test drive, inspecting car, completing paperwork, etc.) I think the process took about two to three hours. I got a very reasonable price and the car is driving fine so far. If you're interested in one of their cars, I definitely recommend paying a visit. It's a nice, small dealership with friendly staff--unlike some of the dealerships on route 22.

This is a true story and I would swear in Court to it. My partners daughter needed a reliable used car to get to school and work, WE LIVE IN MADISON so while I was away they went to Madison Honda to look at a used car. They bought a 2014 CRY for over $10,000.00...so it wasn't cheap!

I returned from Florida to test drive the car and WOW the drama began. The car made a whirring noise so I drove it straight back to the dealer. The Service department called and said it needed a wheel bearing. After they tried to hustle us with the used AS IS story, I persuade them to fix it at there expense. To their credit they did. Three days later we go to pickup the car and pull onto Main St and it's making the same noise. Back we went, only to be told it needed tires. And again they sang the AS IS song. I persuade them that that wasn't fair so they said they had a similar vehicle coming in that week and they would swap the vehicle tires, and they did. So we got the call to come get it and again I pulled out onto Main St to head home. Made it to the first light and applied the brakes and then the grinding could be heard so I turned right back around with the tire pressure.light on as well. To their credit again they took it right in and looked it over with my demand that they measure the brake parts (a retired dealer told me the brakes had to have 50%plus life in them) they called and said they only had 40% life in them. We then thought the saga would be over. Bam we get snow and there is no wiper fluid coming out so I check reservoir and it's full! We decided to install a remote starter and A family member (another Honda dealer employee) checked it, he laughingly asked how the radio worked and we said kind of weak, he said that's because you don't have an Antenna!

I leased a 2014 Honda CRV LX from Madison Honda in August, 2014. I worked with Eric, Hector, and David S. Eric was the lead sales person working the deal and he was very helpful. Eric tried his very best to get the deal done and went several times to his finance department to negotiate the deal. Eric was also very professional and he quickly understood that we are there to buy a car, so he didn't bother anyone with personal questions.
I would recommend Eric and Madison Honda. Just know what you want before you come in, have a price in mind, don't waste time on small talk, and you will get an experience you are looking for.

I know there are some people who love the whole wheeling & dealing of car buying, but it honestly fills me with dread. No more - my experience with Richard Giordano has convinced me that I needn't dread it anymore. He treated me with respect, made me feel comfortable, explained all of my options without pushing anything on me, and even made me laugh. I especially appreciated not being pushed into anything while being clear on what the different options were. I felt confident that I had all the information I needed when I chose my car. The rest of the experience from finance to delivery was also excellent - I was well-informed about the details of financing, and received very thorough "training" on all of the features of my new vehicle. I arrived about 7:45 AM this morning for routine service, was greeted promptly by a service assistant who was appropriately masked. He had my appointment information and checked me in efficiently. I waited in their visitor's lounge, which felt very safe: clean, adequate spacing, universal masking, ongoing cleaning. My vehicle was ready to pick up in under an hour with all service performed and explained. Checking out was quick and assistants were behind shields and masked. Overall. I was kept safe and the service performed efficiently. Full credit for the whole process!

They fit me in last minute! I had my 5 kids under 6 with me and I said 2 hour max we would last. They assessed the van and got me into a loaner car before 2 hours was up and helped watch my kids and load all 5 car seats! To say they are amazing would be an understatement. They have a spot just for kids and some puzzles lots of books and tv with shows for kids. Even had s snacks and juice/water! I for sure won t go anywhere else!!!!

Excessive labor charge on regular maintenance. Nothing wrong with the car, a regular oil change with tire rotation + minor stuff like wiper rubber change etc ran me up a bill of $400 ($150 parts + $250 labor). Got a 10% discount but the labor charge alone is more than any service I ve had on my car. Never had to pay more than $159 for the exact same maintenance

My experience at Madison Honda has been excellent. I have brought my car in for servicing, even without an appointment and they have quickly taking my car given me an accurate feedback as to how long servicing would take and returning the car with everything taken care of. They explained everything they are doing and I have never had a problem with the work that they do. The staff is very courteous and a pleasure to deal with. It is a very well run operation. They also work very quickly and I have never had to wait longer than two hours to have work done.

Sam's The Man! My wife and I just bought a 2015 CRV EX from Madison Honda. A friend of ours had recently purchased a new CRV from the dealership and highly recommended Sam Shehata, the sales consultant who sold her the vehicle. Were we ever glad she did! I called Sam and set up an appointment to test drive a car and run up some numbers. I told him that price was very important (college tuitions...) and he respected our situation and worked with us on a 2014 LX. Turns out that my wife liked the 2015 EX over the LX, so Sam went back to the drawing board with his manager David and came up with numbers that were fair. We closed the deal and I'm driving a fantastic new car. Sam was extremely patient and knowledgeable. He took us on road tests in town and on the highway, answering any questions we had about the vehicle. He's a very nice guy and we came away from the experience very happy. I've read some of these reviews describing David as some kind of hot-tempered crazy man. In fact, he was extremely pleasant and honest and worked hard to get us the car at a price we could afford. I highly recommend Madison Honda, especially Sam. He is the man! He made me promise that I will stop by to just say hello when I'm in for service or just in the neighborhood. My wife and I feel like we have a new friend in Madison. Go in a meet Sam and tell him Bob says hi!

Dave Garcia aka Honda Guy Dave made my experience very pleasant & he was very personable giving me the confidence that I wasn't just dealing with a salesman...no BS, no hidden-fees, went through a handful of CR-Vs for leasing & drove off the lot with the most sensible one for me & my family. I recently purchased a beautiful (pre-owned) Honda CRV from the Madison Honda location and worked with Mark Stocke. He was extremely helpful in the entire process and I never felt pressured or that he was pushing me into buying the car. Not only did Mark help me to find a great used car that worked with my budget but he also helped me to set up bluetooth installation, followed up a few days after the sale, and put the plates on when they arrived. The dealership had TONS of used CRVs, all of them in great condition and various price points so it really felt like shopping for a new car. Also, everyone at the dealership and in the service area was very organized and friendly!

Never been so disrespected in my entire life!
I was buying a new car and decided for a Honda. I showed all documents and gave all information I was requested. After several hours waiting, they offered the purchase terms.
I accepted, paid $2,500 as deposit and was requested to return the next day to pick up the car and pay another $15,500 in check ($8,000 would be financed). Besides the deposit I also paid the insurance. Everything by the book.
The sales person (Brian Teixeira) called me to go there pick up the car. I drove there. He showed all features of the new car and lead me to the office to finish the paperwork. After literally 1,5h of small talk I got tired and asked what was going on. He said the bank was still checking the infos but could not tell how long it would take. I went back home. After 4h he called me and told the terms had changed. Instead of 4% the interest raised to 16%!
Now I just hope they give my $2,500 back.

He got me the car that I was looking for with a great deal. He worked with my situation and was very patient. Out of all the other dealers I went to searching for a car, this one was the best. As my current lease was a few weeks from expiring, I knew it was time to move forward with "next steps" and this is the part that everyone stresses over and gets nervous about. Will my salesperson be knowledgeable? Will they know what they're talking about? Will they lay out the facts and work with my budget? I'd like to answer those concerns with YES, YES, and YES!!! I had the pleasure of working with Mark Stocke here at Madison Honda and I wasn't even aware that there were car sale consultants as pleasant, knowledgeable, and considerate as Mark. He answered every question with confidence and provided me with everything that I needed to know about rolling into my next lease. I did not feel rushed nor pressured as I have at other Honda dealerships I've visited. I am now leaving those other dealerships IN THE DUST because my experience with Mark has made me a truly loyal customer to Madison Honda. When I came back last night to pick up my new, beautiful, cosmic blue metallic Civic LX, I expected to be there for a couple of hours at the LEAST. But because of Mark's consideration to his customers, he had me out of there in a relatively short amount of time and heading down the highway in my new ride. Mark took the time to show me some new features that differed from my 2015 Civic and made sure to answer all of my questions. He even provided me with a one-sheet that had some tips on how to handle some of the car's features, etc. These little "extras" are what make the difference for me - it shows that your business is valued, even when you're the customer who is not necessarily leasing or purchasing the brand's most expensive model. I appreciate that respect. All I can hope for is that Mark will still be at the dealership when I swing back in 3 years to roll into my next Honda. I can't say enough about Mark and the entire experience at Madison Honda. I will absolutely recommend him to any of my family or friends who are contemplating a Honda lease or purchase. I would like to also give a shout out to the finance manager I met with last night, Laura Rey. Laura was so pleasant and knowledgeable and explained things thoroughly so that I understood each document that I was asked to sign. Although she presented additional protection packages, etc., she did not coerce me into taking anything that I didn't care to take....and I appreciated her not applying the "pressure" as I had experienced at another Honda dealership 3 years ago. That was a very uncomfortable experience and I now know that I won't be made to feel that way again in being a customer at Madison Honda. Laura had everything ready to go when I stepped into her office and the whole process took a fraction of the time than what I'd expected....and that's because she clearly knows her stuff!!! I appreciate her professionalism and expertise on the financial side of the process and I want to thank her, as well, for a wonderful experience at Madison Honda!!!
