Next time put a sign up when you re out of stock for something, so your hungry customers don t have to wait 10 minutes to be turned away.

Food is good but if you are near Darling Harbour then I'd recommend guzmen Gomez over this.

I'm a lifelong Chipotle fan, so Mad Mex is as close as it gets in Sydney. Go for a quick snack. Grab a burrito bowl and a drink. If you've got a business card, drop it in the fish bowl and you might get a free meal on Mad Mex!

Usually very good. But onions in my quessadila today were pretty raw and made for an unpleasant lunch. Also, no serviettes in my take out bag.

The service was pretty easygoing and great, and the grande melt they served never goes wrong, with the balanced amount of cheese and the ingredients within, their burritos are very much top notch and a favourite.

Its the closest thing to Texas burritos I've found anywhere in Oz

Good place for the occasional lunch. Naked burritos are tasty. Would be five star but the price is too expensive. A naked burrito with extra meat, exrltra avocado and a drink $27.

Pretty good Mexican fast food but the restaurant hygine is terrible. Tables left dirty, food on the floor, overflowing rubbish bins. Need a good lesson in restaurant management.

Really bad service at Harbour side and they don t good quantities of toppings plus they touch your food

Manager was rude dismissive talked over the top of me and didn't attempt to resolve my issue or provide even the slightest hint of compassion or empathy.

Ordered a naked burrito with steak and gaucamole. Cost $13.50.

If I was rating on taste alone, I would give 5/5 stars - because it was quite delicious.
However, I'm rating my experience 2 stars because the portion size was ridiculously small. Perhaps it was because I went shortly before closing ~ but the employee put into the tub: 1/2 spoon of rice + 1/2 spoon of beans + a small clutch of steak, and then he basically filled the rest of the tub with lettuce.

After I had eaten it I was still ravenous. It felt like I had eaten the equivalent of one chicken wing from KFC. It's not cool to pay $13.50 and then to have to go and find a second food store afterwards.

Well priced and filling Mex food. 3 tacos recommended, you can have a different meat in each.

Nice Mexican restaurant, hidden away in the shopping centre.

Amazing customer service. I ordered the food through an app, but had some technical difficulties. The staff on counter was super patient with me, and tried to help me. The app eventually worked after more than 10 minutes, and he offered to make a new serve for me since the food was cold. Very impressed!

Some people complain that the food tastes bland but the ingredients are legit. I like it the way it is but others could add salt to their liking.

Horrible service. 4 people got the same meal, all got charged different prices. No, no one added extras, and all got the same drinks. Girl was rude and didn t help at at.

When it comes to fresh Mexican done fast, then look no further than Mad Mex. One of the differentiating factors for me is that the tortillas are never soggy unlike a certain other Mexican franchise :) Highly recommend the Quesadillas!

Opened in 2018 so fairly new. Small store so most people have no option but to take away. Luckily there are plenty of places to eat around harbourside /darling harbour! If you have been to one mad mex you've been to them all, personally I prefer guzman y Gomez but this store is a welcome addition to harbourside shopping centre all the same!

Very tasty and inexpensive Burrito with spicy sauce! Generous serve, friendly, professional staff. It's well worth supporting businesses as it hopefully keeps staff in jobs.

A simple, cheap and extremely tasty Mexican joint. I really enjoyed my burrito here, which you can make as healthy or unhealthy as you like, as you choose the ingredients as they make it. You can also get a 'naked' burrito without the shell.

Ok service, ok prices, ok food. If you've been to a mad mex before you know what you're in for, and if not this is a reasonable first one to try.

Watch for the added extras though.

Some servers can be a bit stingy but tasty food. Not bad food, ok pricing.

Very nice, but you may need to ask for extra sour cream and guacamole is an additional $2 each hmm $20 burritos. They had a promo for free kids meals with meals and it was crusty dorritos with cheese i wouldn't give to my dog. This business wont last

Great Mexican food at very reasonable prices. Grande Melt and Nachos are delicious. They don't sell Liquor. There is some place to sit inside. Accepts Amex.

Overpriced for the small quantity food
Ordered a naked burrito and tacos which came in very small quantities for the price we paid. Taste was bland. Extremely disappointed

Ordered via DoorDash and unfortunately it took over 1 hour to arrive and the nachos became completely soggy. The burrito was ok.
