I buy fresh as well as cooked fish there since 80s.

Super friendly, impressive selection of both fresh fish and what they cook in the kitchen is just like an old school fish fry.

Wow really good catfish nuggets and fresh fried shrimp

We got the 1/2lb catfish meals which come with 2 sides. Everything was piping hot and fresh when it came out.

The breading on the catfish is light, crunchy, and seasoned to perfection. Not too salty, and not heavy on the fish at all.

Not a fan of the Mac and cheese. Tasted like box mac to me and was very plain. Everything else was delicious

My food was not good. My fish was rubbery and hard. My hush puppies were extremely over cooked, and they were skimpy on my fries. I use to enjoy their food, no more!

I've tried several places that serve fried fish around Kansas City and this is by far my favorite. The flavor is on point and the fish (I always get the catfish strips or basa) has a good crunch to the breading and is nice and fluffy inside. I'm not a huge fan of their fries but the green beans, coleslaw and mushrooms are good.

The food is okay. However, Mr. Jack needs to give this place a good cleaning!

The best catfish in town and the sweetest people you could ever know

Had never been here before, but the fish was yummy, we had Catfish dinners and the service was great good was hot. Although, one downside, the fish was a bit too salty

Mr. Jack (The Owner) is a very nice, and friendly guy. Whenever he's working he's always so courteous and helpful. However his employees aren't the most friendly folks, but I don't have to deal with them that long because I always call my order in ahead of time. The food is soooo good, that i'm willing to deal with the bad attitudes to get that delicious food. The fried catfish strips with hot sauce and bread is my favorite. My motto is "You don't have to be nice to me. Just get my order right, and give me what I need."

Nice and fast service. The told me it would be 15 minutes and they were done at n 8.

Their catfish fillet is REALLY REALLY good! I love the popcorn shrimp which is very flavorful and at a great price! The workers were all helpful and friendly. None were rude and everyone tried to help since it was my first time.
They also have a side that sells fresh seafood that you can take home to cook. It's small inside but has that neighborly feeling. They gave me a calendar, YaY!

I ordered a pound of fillet but next time I'll settle for 1/2 of pound.
I didn't care much for the potatoe salad however everything else was great.

Food was outstanding and plenty of it, I love the place, my pardner took me there once and I was hooked, parden the pun.

There was nothing fresh about the fish there although I may be jaded from growing up on The shoreline of lake Huron...

I happened to be in Kansas City, Kansas an thought I am not that far away and you deserve Mad Jack's. So worth the wait. I got there right before they closed and still got friendly service.

This is a very small place, but please don t let that change your mind about the food. Always HOT AND FREASH FISH! I drive from 25 miles to eat here. I give this location a 5 stars

Good variety of fresh and fried fish and seafoods on the spot! Sides not that good though, which is surprising for a place like this.

I am so glad we found this place I had the Spicy shrimp absolutely wonderful their Mac and cheese however was not so good.

Best place to get fish. We called in our order while on the road. Quick and easy. There was a mix up twice resulting in delay in getting our order after we got there, it was resolved satisfactorily.

Best catfish I've found in town. They have totally reasonable prices too.

Five star love me some Mad Jacks you never had no good fish if you haven't been to Mad Jacks

I ordered the Oysters from Mad Jack's and they fried it . It was very good. You can't tell that its oysters at all. It kinda tastes like fried chicken giblets. Their employees are very nice and have phone etiquette. Thank you

Excellent fish and seafood cooked fresh and always perfect, the frog legs are great.

Customer service awesome. Price's very. I think selling cold food they should take EBT. But owell
