Big store, good discounts of you dig deep! Ralph Lauren Lester boots $61
Worst customer service ever!!! Been trying to get on the phone with someone for two days and it s impossible!! Trying to see if my package i orderd from a different Macy s arrived! Don t ever order from this store or buy anything I m telling you!!
Boots , coats, pants. Whenever I get a gift card I know I ll find something that will fit here.
They have it all. I like it here that you can find almost anything under one roof. One of the stores you shouldn't miss. They are great, they just need to have larger selection of sizes.
Love this store. Can always get a bargain. Good quality too
Bought two dresses and a full suit here at reduced price of 40%, Macy s has such good deals and a large selection of whatever clothing you re looking for :)
I pretty much love this store because it carries a bit of everything like a true department store should. Being able to ride the old style wooden escalators is icing on the cake for me.
if you can't find what you need here I doubt you will find it
Had two very good customer service experiences. Good Prices as well
Easy access and helpful employees. Decent prices and variety. What more would you ask for a quick run into a store for a last minute gift.
34th Street Macy's is a great store. Employees were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! I love this place.
AMAZING!! You could get lost for days in here with all the choice of brands!! An obvious choice should you be in Manhattan.
Awesome showcases. Staff friendly . Great location . great lighting. Descent sales . sales associates are very assertive and very persuasive. Store very huge many levels great for tourist and the average shopper
Macy was amazing loved it would visit again if I go to New York again
Love coming back here. Lots of dressing rooms and very friendly service, lots of food and coffee corners, too. Make sure to budget a lot of time though, as the place is huge, and if you re a foreigner, don t forget to stop at visitors center for a 10% discount coupon!
Macy's 34st???? It's an institution. Love the wooden escelator on 11 and 12 floors. Classic. Go around Christmas for real NYC Macy's magic
We go here once a year just to see Santa. Best time for us has been Monday before Christmas, around 2:00 pm. At that time there is hardly any line and it moves really quickly. They let you take a picture with your own camera but the pictures they take are good and not that expensive.
Amazing experience!! A most go if visiting NY. Level on level of designer/ name brand merchandise. Bathrooms are hidden and on the shoe level
Lady working at Kate Spade of Mexican or Cuban decent was super rude, she just glared at me and came over, looking totally annoyed because I was looking at the shoes.....Soo what are you paying her for Macy?? To stand there and give customer negative attitude.....people like her also work at low end stores like target. I'm Asian so maybe she thinks people from China cannot afford Kate Spade. She probably think she can treat Asian customers like garbage and get away with it, please get someone else who knows how to provide competent customer service to people other than "white" people. It's NYC not Tennessee, there's others who love Kate Spade. Infact I wanted to purchase a pair of shoes but her attitude made me feel uncomfortable. Michael core and other brands had slot of people and Kate Spade had like no one because she's racist and everyone feels uncomfortable with her glare
Great staff dont forget to ask for discounts it helps askn questions the staff are all helpful.
If you can t find what you re looking for at Macy s then it probably doesn t exist. I would recommend checking out pricing online and going to store to purchase. Staff are very helpful and the store is really large
Amazing collection. Mens Calvin Klein jeans. Buffalo shirts and jeans. What you need is here. Perfect for shopping and so many discounts
Macy's was once my place to enjoy a day of shopping, today unfortunately its a shell of its former self.
My favorite store. I can shop there all day and find everything that I want. Excellent customer service.
Who doesn't love a day of shopping? Roam through aisles and check out items or enjoy riding the vintage escalators. Tons of food options on floors as well! Be sure not to get lost!
Terrible. Employees are not aware of where the departments are located.
Not at all what l expected. If you like named goods and have the pocket for it your in. But the cheaper goods looked just that cheap and nasty
My favorite Macy's, I'm always able to find a bargain.
Place is massive, pretty much a shopping mall in itself with 9 levels of everything.
It was everything I expected, awesome experience of shopping in the world famous store,
My experience at Macy's today was excellent as always!!
Macy's has quality brands in shoes, clothing, jewelry, home goods, restaurants, men, women and children's clothes. Pockets books, accessories and many choices in perfumes. During the holidays wonderful theme window decorations. People visiting New York always come to Macy's at 34th Street and Seventh Avenue. It is worth the trip. During the Christmas Season the decorations inside the store is spectacular. It is an experience not to be missed. The workers are professional and helpful. They are also very well dressed.
Great variety of selections, deep discount, generess coupon, good location with convenient transportation.
Incredible store if you read the history behind the start up when a guy Maci s put all of his inheritance to start up his store Macy. Then look in the store the amazing wooden escalator which is fascinating to see. Other perks is it s has its own mcDonalds and food court style court and the staff was super friendly. Like it !
The size, variety, details, and displays are worthy of this store's iconic stature. Me shipmate and I thoroughly enjoyed the flower show and the short tour of that event. It was well worth going out of the way. Riding the old wooden escalators was a treat!
Biggest and most beautiful Macys I have ever seen. High end, lots of sale items, exemplary customer service
Iconic, wooden escalator in the back was the best part... Oldest one in the world I was told
Well, it's certainly large. Much as a skyscraper requires one to two city blocks for the foundations of its supporting structures, this one gobbles up some of the more expensive real estate in the world.
And it's convenient, straddling the NQR and 123 (including express lines). The stations are literally across the street.
Service is middling. The salesperson didn't say much -- aren't they supposed to hire warm and outgoing people for their most important store, the one that reflects most upon their brand, to tourists from around the world no less? It's about self-respect.
They close at 9 on Sundays, which is ridiculous. So many people are out until 11, and this is a central location. For local residents who need something at an uncommon hour (I like to shop at night), this should serve as a reliable destination. Anyways, if their intention is to give employees time off and at least partially observe the Sabbath, I can appreciate that.
The lower level was closed off when I was there, but was still listed on the directories. The items sold there were available on other floors, but they didn't indicate as much. It was up to the visitor to wander different floors and hopefully run into what they want. Myself, I found the section I wanted after traversing several escalators and after giving up much hope of even getting there.
They have a weird set of brands, mostly middle- to upper-tier names for middle aged people. What's particularly unappealing to me as a young adult is the proliferation of Polo Ralph Lauren. It's a Macy's favorite, and indistinguishable from their former Donald Trump line. Hugo Boss, I approve of, and bought some good-looking underwear of that variety.
It's immaculately polished, as a rapper once put it. You'll encounter gleaming white floors all around. I would have appreciated even brighter lights, so as to make the whole place shine, overwhelming the visitor with shiny white floors and bold black walls. This doesn't reach the pinnacle of luxury. Being the classiest Macy's in the world doesn't necessarily mean being the classiest store in the city.
This flagship tries hard but doesn't break into the realm of extraordinary. It's tempered by the mediocrity that characterizes Macy's as a whole -- neither high-fashion nor affordable. A reflection of middle-class, suburban America. Neither luxury nor fast fashion. A partial attempt at classy, but still frumpy.
Huge store, it was overwhelming! The sheer size and selections were amazing. You could get lost in there. The ladies shoe clearance area needs better organization, though. I would definitely return again.
Amazing to be there in largest shopping center in the world
Good god I hate this store. Whyyyyy??? Did I come in here.
Welcome to the world's largest Macy's department store. There is alot to do and see here. If you're coming to shop theres plenty of floors and many options. If you're coming to dine theres a restaurant on the sixth floor that is really good. They also have other options such as McDonald's, Starbucks, Auntie Anne's and a few other eateries. Unfortunately the bathrooms are always a mess.
Was pretty magical and fun exciting and interesting although if you never been to NYC most people are really rude and don't pay attention they're always on their phone looking at the phone and trying to walk and bump into you
Very large Macy's with all the popular name brands. Imagine your regular Macy's but eight of them stacked on top of each other.
I was told it was big, but big does not describe it. This place has everything and it is well laid out.
For anyone who loves to shop and grab a bargain then this place is a must! I absolutely love everything about Macy s (although it s easy to get lost in there) the staff are friendly and will help with any queries.
NYC 34th to 35th street Macy's is the best one to go to. The staff are so respectful and they have oh so many stores to shop for like anything u could possibly want from clothes and shoes to perfumes, home appliances like curtains, bedspreads and such to fast food and sofisticated restaurants and many many more stores well besides phones I believe but they do have some electronics like watches and things Point is......this Macy's is the best and most fun Macy's in the world well that I've been to anyways!!! I just love there. Trust me give it a go and go there u won't b disappointed I guarantee it !!!
Huge spread of everything. Wonderful ambience. Convenient to walk from street to subway.
I've always loved their flagship store it is a great symbol of New York
AMAZING!!! Christmas in full bloom, visiting from Portland, OR - loved being able to experience this iconic location!
Best department store I been to u can get almost everything..
Never going there again. It seems they only sell Brand Name that are made in China for $120 and up I understand it would be made with real wool or cotton or silk for that matter but everything is mostly 80% of the time is polyesters/Acrylic plus you got to run around for three days in there to find anything why can't they just put the men's stuff on a single floor
My fave department store ever is Macy*s Herald Square back home in Manhattan, New York City!! I love it!!
Love this store, can remember riding up the wooden escalator going to Santa Land as a kid and love that they're still in the store!
Friendly staff and a great range of goods. It's Macy's!
Ohhhhh, the Macy's on 34th street had a killer sale. Well worth the train ride. Prices were at a all time low. However, NYC is going to have to assist in solving the homeless problems.
Lots of varieties for almost everything, they're just a little bit pricey.
Loved visiting the original Macy's. Window displays and Holiday Lane were amazing
Fantastic high quality items with big seasonal offers.
recently stopped in for a fragrance for my husband i returned the following week for another very helpful people,
Spectacular experience. Really enjoyed shopping in the place
Had a terrible experience at the ladies shoes Department. Very rude staff. Walked straight out and would never come back.
A monument more than anything else. Goes on and on. Great place to while away your time
Something for ANYONE! Some of the sales people selling perfume are very obnoxious or pushy. They have a fun big piano here by the food court area. Finding the washroom in here is very hard! The men s and women s are in separate areas which doesn t make the most sense. Other than that very clean store for being so large!
I feel that if your not attractive or skinny, the sales associates treat you differently. So far since I been there (multiple times) nobody has approached me to sample a cologne. Sales associates ignore me in the clothing area.
Great sales here. Largest Macys in the world. Almost always well staffed. Great prices and I shop here everytime I'm back in NYC.
