Love coming back here. Lots of dressing rooms and very friendly service, lots of food and coffee corners, too. Make sure to budget a lot of time though, as the place is huge, and if you re a foreigner, don t forget to stop at visitors center for a 10% discount coupon!

We go here once a year just to see Santa. Best time for us has been Monday before Christmas, around 2:00 pm. At that time there is hardly any line and it moves really quickly. They let you take a picture with your own camera but the pictures they take are good and not that expensive.

Lady working at Kate Spade of Mexican or Cuban decent was super rude, she just glared at me and came over, looking totally annoyed because I was looking at the shoes.....Soo what are you paying her for Macy?? To stand there and give customer negative attitude.....people like her also work at low end stores like target. I'm Asian so maybe she thinks people from China cannot afford Kate Spade. She probably think she can treat Asian customers like garbage and get away with it, please get someone else who knows how to provide competent customer service to people other than "white" people. It's NYC not Tennessee, there's others who love Kate Spade. Infact I wanted to purchase a pair of shoes but her attitude made me feel uncomfortable. Michael core and other brands had slot of people and Kate Spade had like no one because she's racist and everyone feels uncomfortable with her glare

Macy's has quality brands in shoes, clothing, jewelry, home goods, restaurants, men, women and children's clothes. Pockets books, accessories and many choices in perfumes. During the holidays wonderful theme window decorations. People visiting New York always come to Macy's at 34th Street and Seventh Avenue. It is worth the trip. During the Christmas Season the decorations inside the store is spectacular. It is an experience not to be missed. The workers are professional and helpful. They are also very well dressed.

Incredible store if you read the history behind the start up when a guy Maci s put all of his inheritance to start up his store Macy. Then look in the store the amazing wooden escalator which is fascinating to see. Other perks is it s has its own mcDonalds and food court style court and the staff was super friendly. Like it !

The size, variety, details, and displays are worthy of this store's iconic stature. Me shipmate and I thoroughly enjoyed the flower show and the short tour of that event. It was well worth going out of the way. Riding the old wooden escalators was a treat!

Well, it's certainly large. Much as a skyscraper requires one to two city blocks for the foundations of its supporting structures, this one gobbles up some of the more expensive real estate in the world.

And it's convenient, straddling the NQR and 123 (including express lines). The stations are literally across the street.

Service is middling. The salesperson didn't say much -- aren't they supposed to hire warm and outgoing people for their most important store, the one that reflects most upon their brand, to tourists from around the world no less? It's about self-respect.

They close at 9 on Sundays, which is ridiculous. So many people are out until 11, and this is a central location. For local residents who need something at an uncommon hour (I like to shop at night), this should serve as a reliable destination. Anyways, if their intention is to give employees time off and at least partially observe the Sabbath, I can appreciate that.

The lower level was closed off when I was there, but was still listed on the directories. The items sold there were available on other floors, but they didn't indicate as much. It was up to the visitor to wander different floors and hopefully run into what they want. Myself, I found the section I wanted after traversing several escalators and after giving up much hope of even getting there.

They have a weird set of brands, mostly middle- to upper-tier names for middle aged people. What's particularly unappealing to me as a young adult is the proliferation of Polo Ralph Lauren. It's a Macy's favorite, and indistinguishable from their former Donald Trump line. Hugo Boss, I approve of, and bought some good-looking underwear of that variety.

It's immaculately polished, as a rapper once put it. You'll encounter gleaming white floors all around. I would have appreciated even brighter lights, so as to make the whole place shine, overwhelming the visitor with shiny white floors and bold black walls. This doesn't reach the pinnacle of luxury. Being the classiest Macy's in the world doesn't necessarily mean being the classiest store in the city.

This flagship tries hard but doesn't break into the realm of extraordinary. It's tempered by the mediocrity that characterizes Macy's as a whole -- neither high-fashion nor affordable. A reflection of middle-class, suburban America. Neither luxury nor fast fashion. A partial attempt at classy, but still frumpy.

Huge store, it was overwhelming! The sheer size and selections were amazing. You could get lost in there. The ladies shoe clearance area needs better organization, though. I would definitely return again.

Welcome to the world's largest Macy's department store. There is alot to do and see here. If you're coming to shop theres plenty of floors and many options. If you're coming to dine theres a restaurant on the sixth floor that is really good. They also have other options such as McDonald's, Starbucks, Auntie Anne's and a few other eateries. Unfortunately the bathrooms are always a mess.

Never going there again. It seems they only sell Brand Name that are made in China for $120 and up I understand it would be made with real wool or cotton or silk for that matter but everything is mostly 80% of the time is polyesters/Acrylic plus you got to run around for three days in there to find anything why can't they just put the men's stuff on a single floor

Something for ANYONE! Some of the sales people selling perfume are very obnoxious or pushy. They have a fun big piano here by the food court area. Finding the washroom in here is very hard! The men s and women s are in separate areas which doesn t make the most sense. Other than that very clean store for being so large!

I feel that if your not attractive or skinny, the sales associates treat you differently. So far since I been there (multiple times) nobody has approached me to sample a cologne. Sales associates ignore me in the clothing area.
