Mac Medics May be one of....if not the most...honest businesses out there. You can always trust what they say and recommend. I have been using them for almost 20 years and they continue to impress me every time.

Jeff really helped me out with my laptop. He doubled over to make sure i knew what was going on every step of the process and was very patient with me. Awesome staff!

I was not familiar with MacMedics until today, and I cannot possibly articulate how happy I am with my experience! I was greeted with a smile, and an eagerness to help me the minute I walked in the door. I must admit I was reluctant to make the appointment since I always go to the Apple Store in Annapolis, but they were booked for days and I couldn't wait that long. I am beyond thrilled that I took the chance with MacMedics! Put all your doubts aside, and make your appointment with confidence. My consultant ran a free diagnostic, and showed me on my computer what the problem was. I couldn't even get my Mac to turn on, and in seconds, he had it up and running. Not only did he fix the problem, he showed me my battery was ready to go, in addition to spotting the charger I was using was counterfeit, and ruining my laptop! (I bought online) He also informed me I had a free addition to my Mac that I was also unaware that was installed for free. They are a knowledgable, friendly, FAST, and professional group that I will be using from now on! Thanks for saving my laptop! MacMedics is the BEST!

An unexpected surprise!!! I've always been hesitate to go anywhere but the Apple Store to get my Apple devices fixed. I was growing impatient waiting for an appointment so I tried Mac Medics in Severna Park. They took care of my iPhone screen immediately with no appointment. I've been back now 3 times and can't imagine why I would go back to the Apple Store when I can support a local business in my backyard.

These guys are the best. Even if you need multiple fixes for the same problem, they are very patient, polite, and expedient. They are the best experience compared between Apple Store, Micro Center, and Mac Medics. Mac Medics is an Easy choice.

They were quick, answered all of my questions, and clarified the process throughout. Highly recommend!

1 Fantastic Customer Service, 2 Knowledgable Professionals, 3 Very Impressive turnaround time! I am so happy that I found this store and never have to put foot into the Apple Store again. Oh and did I mention parking? Well it is right in front of the store plus they offer you to carry your Mac to your car. I will not hesitate to go back or to recommend this store to anybody.

Gotta love these guys. My iPhoneX (almost 2 years old) was acting up...it was haunted..opening apps, switching screens, opening links, etc. Not consistently, but very sporadically.

Called yesterday and explained the situation and they said that Apple is warranting the issue for up to three years. They told me it was likely the entire display--not just the screen. They checked and had the part in stock. Since it was 4pm when I called I said I'd be up the next day!

Today, I roll in about 1030am. Explain. They try to get a diagnostic on it and of course the problem does not replicate. I played with it a little and sure enough it did it. That took about an hour. The tech quick put it on the Apple diagnostic thing and it said that the "unexpected touch" test failed. Sounds like some #metoo thing. As they thought, display needed to be replaced.

They took it back where they work their magic and in an hour, I had a brand new display on my iPhoneX along with a big old bill for ZERO.

Now, I could have gone to my local retail store in the Annapolis mall. But the next available appointment to LOOK at it was 2 days away. And who know how long it woudl take to repair.

Once again, MacMedics knocks it out of the park for me. The mall is SO convenient to me--but for any Apple repair--phone or computer, it is SO worth the short drive up Ritchie Highway to Severna Park.

AGAIN...these guys rock. Spilled some tea into my MBA keyboard. Cursor started doing things on it's own. Was resigned to forking over the $ for a new laptop. Brought it in, and within 10 mins was told that there was no real damage, they got it to boot up. Sent me on the way with some tips to make sure. and here I am typing this out on it. Oh, and no charge---all part of the service was what Dana Stibolt told me!

Apple and their Geniuses are probably the best salespeople for MacMedics. Fast, efficient and reasonable service!

I just cannot thank the good folks at Mac Medics for their help. They were able to quickly and efficiently solve my computer issues--including replacing a broken screen--within a record two days! I felt that they really cared about me as a customer, and kept my best interest in mind: they even found a recall for my computer that I had no idea about, which led to a huge discount on my end, AND they were able to help me with an internal computer name change I desperately needed! This company really cares about its customers and it shows. I'll definitely be using them for all of my computer needs. I am so thankful!

I needed a new Macbook charger and they were very helpful and accommodating. My family has been at multiple times & would highly recommend this store to anyone to needs tech assistance.

Dana and his team epitomize everything great about a local, small business. When my MacBook Air would not turn on and none of the tricks would work, I was disappointed there were no appointments at the Apple Store and didn't no where to turn. Kudos to MacMedics for their strong search skills and alliance with Apple so I gave them a shot and dropped off the machine on Tuesday and it was fixed by Friday. They are very organized, polite and professional. I strongly recommend them and will use them again in the future if needed. Great job MacMedics!

Fast, polite and friendly. I had an iPad battery issue that was resolved in just about 24 hours. I could not be happier. Skip the Genius Bar and go to MacMedics instead.

I have been using Mac Medics for several years and they are great! They are always helpful, professional, and FIX my MAC or help me to purchase a new
machine when it is time. They have always been the best for my family MAC's.

Life saver, absolutely amazing customer service and the price can't be beat!! I found MacMedics online after being totally disappointment with my local Apple store that said my water damaged iPhone5 could not be repaired; it wouldn't charge. Instead, they sold me a brand new iPhone to the tune of $800+ after it was all said and done. I looked online and found that the charger could be repaired, so off I went to find a repair shop. Walked into MacMedics and Sam checked my phone and said he thought it could be repaired, had to order the part which would arrive the next day. Sure enough, he called me the next day and said the phone was repaired. Cost me less than $90. I will be returning my brand new iPhone to the Apple store tomorrow. So glad I didn't take those guys at their word. If I ever have another issue with my iPhone or other Apple product, I will go directly to MacMedics and bypass the Apple stores all together. I highly recommend MacMedics and will be referring them to all my friends. Thank you Sam for fixing my iPhone and saving me hundreds of dollars. I wish all service techs had your skill.

The best computer repair shop I have ever seen. Phenomenal service. Very fair prices. If it isn't worth fixing they'll tell you but they can usually fix it.

This afternoon, I went to pick up my iMac from the Mac medic store. I happened by the store a little more than a year ago it s over near the Severna Park area by Benfield Road. I ve been a pretty strong Apple/Mac fanatic for more than a dozen years now. This current iMac is about six years old, and I felt it was time to convert from the old spinning hard drive to an SSD, fusion. If you ve been to an Apple store lately, you ve likely noticed they re very crowded and getting appointments with Genius Bar s is pretty confounding. Also, they will not do upgrades on IMACs where SSDs are concerned.

In fact they repaired my fusion drive a little bit more than a year ago and never even connected the fusion piece with both the little SSD in the spinning hard drive to make it work correctly, so the Imac consequently was much slower.
At any rate this is about MacMedics. I m so glad they re not far from me these guys are easy to talk to very flexible, and can help you with all of your upgrades or repairs With your Mac, or I believe with your iPads and iPhones as well.
They also sell used refurbished as well as brand new components MacBooks, IMAX iPads I even saw A brand new drove out sitting in the store this afternoon in fact one model that I was pretty interested in.
This is my second time using their services and I can t say that I ve been any thing less than pleased. On both occasions!!

Sorry for the long and drawn out story here, but it s all worth noting. You don t have to go to an Apple store to get your Apple products repaired.!!

Bottom line is give these guys your business you won t be disappointed.

Reasonably priced, great service timely excellent follow up and good details. I will be back with them again. Guys my 2013 iMac with my new SSD fusion drive is just as you said. It is smoking by comparison it feels like a brand new machine.

After the Apple Store diagnosed a frustrating, recurring issue with my MacBook, and estimated a 7-10 day repair time, I visited MacMedics. A quick diagnostic was performed, and MacMedics replaced the offending part in 15 (yes, fifteen) minutes while I waited. You can't put a price on that kind of service, but the amount they charged was incredibly reasonable and worth it a million times over. Skip the long waits at the Genius Bar and come here!

Mac Medics has supplied quality care for my family and business computers for over 6 years. I changed to Mac servers at work last year and have not looked back. WOW! So much more simple. Dana, owner of Mac Medics, has been a friend for over a decade, and my only regret is that I didn't go "more Apple" and with Mac Medics sooner.

Took my iMac in for service because I had a 'freezing' issue. And while they usually have a quick turnaround, because of the holiday weekend I had to wait a tad longer to get it back. After I got it home, with a few minor adjustments, it was back up and running just like its 'old familiar self'. I now have a Time Machine backup plugged in and doing it's 'thing' and I have upgraded the OS to the highest level before I have to ultimately get a new iMac at some point in the future.
MacMedics are great. I love the non-frenetic pace at the store...unlike the Apple store. The guys are friendly and helpful.
For all your Apple needs, Mac Medics is the place to go. They do not deal in iPhone or Apple Watch, however!

I love Mac Medics! They have helped me with repairs on my IMac and two MacBook Pros over the past five+ years. I also purchased a refurbished MBP a few years ago. They are fast and very knowledgeable. Very trustworthy shop and so much easier than going to the Apple store at the mall!

I went to Apple recently and was informed I needed more ram and to update my operating system. When I updated my operating system, I lost the ability to use my Quicken. I was told by Apple to get both my Quicken through Quicken and ram through a certified Apple dealer. They referred me to Mac Medics for the purchase of the ram. I went through hours on my own attempting to get an updated version of Quicken on the computer and talking to people in India, which was a total waste of time and nothing resolved. In the meantime, I called Mac Medics and ordered additional ram. When I went to get the ram installed, I mentioned to Chris at Mac Medics I was having difficulty reestablishing an updated version of Quicken on my computer. He immediately set up my computer, guided me to the Quicken site and found the version I needed to purchase. I paid online and downloaded the correct version right in the store. Hurray!! Chris made it so very easy for me. He worked with me for 15 minutes updating and cleaning up old files in my computer. He then took the computer and installed my additional ram. After the installation, Chris demonstrated to me that it was all done correctly, made sure Quicken was up and running and we were done!!! What a wonderful experience. I was not charged by Chris for his time for that invaluable assistance. I also found out that they refurbish Apple computers for sale and, in addition, sell all Apple products except the iphone at their store. I will return later this year and have Chris work with me to purchase the right laptop for me rather than going to an overcrowded Apple store. I know I will be sold the laptop that suits me best and their prices are the same as Apple. I highly recommend Mac Medics for all of your Apple needs. They are terrific. It is obvious they care about their customers and they are experts regarding Apple products. Thank you, Chris, again for all of your assistance with my computer. Life is good!!!!

I came in with a malware issue. The staff was friendly and someone was available to help me within a minute of walking in the door. They solved my problem and got me out the door within 20 minutes. I was expecting to have to leave my computer there but instead they did it right on the spot

I strongly recommend MacMedics. Another business told me that my hard drive was fried (despite my MacBook Air only being two years old and gently used!) but MacMedics saved the day. They correctly diagnosed the problems and I have my laptop again, working better than ever. They were professional and helpful, and I couldn't be happier.

My computer's battery was being faulty. I called AppleCare, and they gave me three places I could take my Mac. So happy I chose MacMedics, even though it was a much farther drive for me. They were the ones who were most available on the phone while also giving me the shortest estimate on when I could get my computer back--an estimate that ended up being exactly when I was back in business.

After a few days since I got my computer back, I see no issues whatsoever with their work. I was also extremely glad to see how much they cared about the safety of their staff and customers, with limited people in the store, masks required, and either social distancing or plexi-glass barriers, with constant sanitation. I felt extremely safe in all ways with MacMedics, and as someone who just moved to the area, I will seek them out immediately next time I have a problem or concern. Highest Recommendation.

These guys are life savers! Never have to go back to the apple store again. I got a replacement battery for my phone, and today ran in cause my phone froze up. They fixed it in minutes! No lines to wait in. I highly recommend Macmedics.
