My mother was recently in Maasstad at the neurology department what a terrible hospital with unspecified nurses and doctors all the nurses have no knowledge of what they are doing super rude and 1 gentleman was top 1 of circumstance he teases people from that there are lying with a cerebral infarct that are paralyzed, he himself is very satisfied how people are paralyzed and can not do anything if you ask them all walk away totally NOT friendly.

Smoking ban, parking is expensive and difficult large hospital factory impersonal staff is friendly. You look for nursing departments. If you notice something negative, you will be referred to burden the complaints officer. an automated message to trivialize. bad communication. If you want to provide service YOU call the dissatisfied customer and do something about that parking, much too expensive and long waiting times for the shuttle that is manned by a volunteer. This afternoon with my highly pregnant wife an appointment at 14:40. Wat een geweldig ziekenhuis is dit zeg. Mijn vrouw is hier afgelopen weekend bevallen en ik kan niet anders zeggen dat ze hier de beste zorg gehad heeft die ze kon wensen. De mensen tijdens de bevalling waren super vriendelijk, direct en open (wat heel fijn is tijdens een bevalling).

Daarna is de zorg op de verloskamer en de kinderverpleging echt super goed. Ze houden alles goed in de gaten en leggen alles duidelijk uit.

Wanneer je kan kiezen waar je moet bevallen zou ik het wel weten en kiezen voor het Maasstad ziekenhuis. Hele dikke complimenten en hoop dat dit ook bij de mensen terecht komt. We hebben het ze ook gezegd maar altijd leuk om het nog een keer te horen.

Ik ben snel en goed behandeld. De arts was erg vriendelijk en duidelijk tijdens de behandeling.
Het kan soms wel een doolhof lijken.

Drama en onprettig ervaring meegemaakt. Ik als longpatient moest een uur wachten en nog steeds niet geholpen. Er waren minstens 6 mensen voor mijn beurt geholpen en mij niet eens ingelicht waarom al die mensen voor mij werden geholpen. Ik ben daarna 3 keer naar de receptioniste gegaan die wel behulpzaam was. Zij heeft ook aantal keren doorgegeven dat ik aan het wachten was en ieder keer kreeg ik te horen dat ik aan de beurt kom. Keer op keer werden mensen voor mij gelaten. Personeel die zagen mij daar ook lang wachten en vonden het niet erg, had de idee dat ze er zelfs van genoten. Sinds 2009 zit ik in de veiligheid branche en riskeer ik mijn leven voor de samenleving en Nederland als geheel en voel me door de nare ervaring in de Maasstad ziekenhuis nu erg ondergewaardeerd. Ik voelde mij in een ziekenhuis niet welkom en als een stuk vuil behandeld. In een plek als een ziekenhuis hoort dat niet te gebeuren. Je hoort je welkom te voelen, gelijk behandeld, en het gevoel hebben dat personeel graag jou wilt helpen.
Jammer genoeg na de nare ervaring in de Maasstad ziekenhuis is mijn vertrouwen weg. Ik heb niet het gevoel dat ik daar welkom ben en personeel mij graag wilt helpen. Dit doet mij enorm pijn. Valt me ook op dat meerdere mensen met bepaalde achternamen een slechte ervaring hebben.Ik ga dit doorspelen naar de lokale Rotterdamse politiek. Ik wil ook graag weten of er meer mensen zijn met soort gelijke klachten en wellicht van medewerkers en ex- medewerkers horen van hun ervaringen in de Maasstad ziekenhuis.

and the promise that she would be called back by the internist on Monday. must admit that that happened and that she gets an MRI scan today and may go to a doctor tomorrow but she has not slept from Friday is heavily under medication (Morphine, Tramadol Paracetamol and Antibiotics) that does not help, so who sees the seriousness here not in?????

Wat een waardeloos ziekenhuis. Mijn vader is tot 6x toe voor dezelfde klacht opgenomen geweest. Symptoombestrijding zijn ze goed in. De oorzaak? Geen idee meneer. Maar u bent buiten levensgevaar en gaat u maar weer naar huis. Niet 1 of 2 x nee gewoon 6x. En elke keer gaat de teller lopen en na een paar dagen al naar huis. Niemand weet wat, en van logisch nadenken heeft ook nog niemand gehoord.

Waarom "artsen" zichzelf daar iets noemen weet ik ook niet. Artsen zijn er om je te genezen. Maar dat is kennelijk spontaan vergeten. Als je maar ja en amen zegt en je aangesloten bent bij de zorgverzekeraar want ze moeten de facturen wel kunnen indienen.

Om het nog maar even te herhalen 6x..... En dan nog zo incompetent te zijn en je weer naar huis te sturen en dan zeggen anders kom je toch gewoon weer terug!

Nee dit was de laatste keer! De volgende keer gaan we wel naar een ziekenhuis waar specialisten aanwezig zijn die verder gaan dan alleen wat symptoombestrijden maar ook de oorzaak willen aanpakken. In plaats van buiten levensgevaar? Mooi dan kunt u naar huis.

En dan nog maar te zwijgen over de huisartsenpost en SEH. Nou nog 1 ding daarover. Er wordt aangegeven dat het zo druk is.. Ja dat is niet zo gek als niemand wat aan het doen is. Op elke afdeling waar ik geweest(verschillende dagen verschillende tijden) ben zie ik iedereen kleppen. Soms na een consult van 10-15 minuten zie ik dezelfde mensen kleppen. En de wachtruimtes zitten maar vol. Ja als er letterlijk niks gedaan wordt. Maar dat zal waarschijnlijk intercollegiaal overleg geweest zijn :D

I have stated so many times that the nurse in the diabetes clinic does not do their job well. I do not recommend anyone to be treated by the diabetes department. The person who becomes a complaints officer will literally laugh at you on the phone if you come up with a serious complaint!

I don't really want to write reviews about hospitals. That is very specialized. And especially when it comes to doctors, one is okay with it, the other not at all. And what exactly do I know about it, I have a bit of medical background, but judging medical matters is very difficult. Of course you can write something about people, and therefore the staff, but don't shave it all together.
We know Maasstad, both my wife and I have been in it and his outpatient, who really wants to know, cardiology, stomach, liver, intestine, diabetes, dental surgery, eyes (have been to the Eye Hospital in the center more times they pick up your car, you don't have to walk far). There is a parking garage at Maasstad as well as at Ikazia, which is quite a distance from the entrance to the hospital, but there are electric carts, even newer and more spacious ones at Maasstad, but the people are volunteers. Then something about the hospital itself, at Maasstad they work with protocols, if you ask something ..... yes protocol. It drives me crazy, this is really human-unfriendly, so it is meant to be a human-unfriendly system, nothing is outside the protocol. I still dream of it at night, no sir that is not protocol. I've had keyhole surgery, bowels. Do you have to swallow that dirty stuff, it is so good that I had to swallow 6 liters in half a day, I know there is really something better and less dirty, but no protocol. Then I was allowed to go to the operation, you will get a whirl and then you will be completely gone, okay leave them, but I know myself better and I am not yet asleep from an elephant anesthetic. I have also experienced everything. very interesting to see your gut inside. Had a nice conversation with the doctor, everything was okay, I was just fully informed, but .... protocol I had to go to the recovery room. They left me there for more than an hour, while I was allowed to go home because I had nothing else. Protocol, protocol, so we go to the robots, you have nothing to say anymore. I will not talk about my room experiences, plenty of problems, cause far too few staff, cutbacks everywhere.

Been there, nothing to see on some wear. Back to the physiotherapist, who immediately sent me back to the plastic surgeon, made an MRI, yes to see something. What do we then do as a surgeon? Nothing, just wait until March or April !! Meanwhile, I have been taking painkillers for the wrist and hand for 5 months and nothing is happening except panic behavior because I contracted a hospital bacterium in 2014.
