Lyric is a local treasure. They survive not just on ticket sales but also on sustaining donations so consider becoming a donor. A yearly tradition for my family is going to see "A Christmas Carol" put on each year in the small theater on 16th. Plan to take an Uber. There isn't much parking.

We went to see 'The Cat in the Hat' and had a great first experience with Lyric Theater. My boys enjoyed it so much that they requested to go back and see something else real soon. Tickets recommended to be there at least 30 minutes early so we got there 40 minutes early just in case and beat everyone else there but that made for a long wait that I'm not sure was actually necessary for this kind of show if you have advanced tickets.
The only down side though to the show was being in the middle, 4 rows from the front, left my kids feeling a little left out from the bubbles, characters chatting with them and thing high fives. I would recommend if you are getting tickets for interactive shows to be in row seats near the front.

Absolutely love shows at Lyric! It's always a date nigh tradition for me and my wife to catch The Rocky Horror Picture Show when they are doing the production. We've seen other shows there as well and the acting is great, the staff has been super nice and lively at each performance we go to and theatre has been comfortable throughout the show. We did see A Christmas Carol for the first time last year and that was super heart warming.

I had so much fun last night eating at the Krow's Nest then onto see a Christmas Carol right next door at the Plaza Theatre. The theatre is beautiful and they have a private parking lot right across the street, which might fill up fast. We got there 1.5 hours early to eat dinner, which was also amazing, and there were plenty of parking spaces available. There is a little bar for refreshments, the lobby is beautiful and the bathrooms were very clean. Free water cooler.

A Christmas Carol was amazing! Just the right mixture of scary and Christmas cheer! All the actors and crew did a fantastic job! The set was beautiful and the props an effects were awesome! This is my first play through the lyric theatre and I can't wait to go back! Also I love the food in the plaza district!

When We're Gone is awesome. It is a rock musical so it is rock music. It is a morality play so it is heavy. It is for mature audiences so there is foul language. Happy to have theater like this come to OKC. Keep it up

My husband and I come here all the time. Unlike the Civic Center, there is not a bad seat in the house. We love this theater, love the sets. The productions are high quality. I have so much appreciation for what these people do. We are lucky to have Lyric!

The lyric is a relatively smal adutitorium, just a few hundred seats, but it is the absolute best theatre experience. All the quality, and production value of a big theater house with the up close intimacy of the small stage. Combine it with great local eats and boutiques and the Lyric becomes a crowning jem of the OKC metro. If you ever enjoyed a live productions, or have never been to one, the Lyric will win you over. With the escalating cost of movie tickets the Lyric is even a competitive use of limited entertainment funds, especially when compared to Civic Center.

We visited the Lyric Theater to see an interactive play called 1776. They put this play on for schools and do two plays for homeschoolers. The staff is friendly and helpful and the play was enjoyable.

Great production. Saw Curious George with my family, and my 3 year old loved every minute. The cast was great and even stayed for questions after the show. The kids brown bag of snacks for $5 is a great idea that I wish more theatres/entertainment venues would offer.

This place thinks that they can take up an entire parking lot that used to be used for the people in the plaza district. They decided to not be the bigger people and as such everyone visiting the plaza district has to suffer with horrendous parking.

Awesome small venue where you can be close and feel a part of the action on stage. Went to see Curious George and the actors did a fantastic job. Pro's and Con's not about the theater but about the area: Pro- Lots of great places to eat or shop nearby, just park and walk. Con: Very little places to park, you may have to pay to park or walk from a bit of a distance. For the fun and atmostphere along with the local scene, I highly recommend catching a show here.

RokAcademy students from Thelma Gaylord Academy of Performing Arts, performing two BEATLES Albums, REVOLVER and ST. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND. Yep. All the songs. And the audience can sing along! Unexpected fun! $16 per ticket gets a good seat, 3D glasses, a mustache and a program. My first ever time here. I'm impressed! Lobby, ticket office, refreshments (caramel popcorn and Diet Coke for me, but I SAW BEER AND WINE TOO!). The house seats maybe 200, maybe more. Cute performance. Girl singers (3) are excellent. It's a shame the songs in the Revolver segment were mostly too low or too high for them, trying to sing the tenor parts. But they shined in their own range in Sergeant Pepper. Band and back-up singers are also outstanding - kudos to keyboard - singer solo. Cute costumes for Pepper. Well done, all!

I was SO impressed by the production of "Les Miserables". I truly thought it was ever bit as good as the last performance of Les Miz that I saw at the Civic Center a couple of years ago put on by Celebrity Attractions. I though the vocalists were wonderful, the staging impressive, and the large choir gave it such a full emotional component. I was especially impressed with Chuck Wagner and Adrienne Tang. Thank you for such a professional quality performance!
