Had a lovely dinner served by friendly staff in a nice hotel. Would certainly recommend.

Breakfast was a laugh. we had to stand at the door for about 5 minutes before someone came to take our room number. & then didn't understand what room number we were saying we had to show the lady our number on the sheet which is a breach of GDPR!!. We went for breakfast around 9-30 the plates were cold no milk on the table food was very poor . Every time we come to Clare we stay with yourselves but gone downhill a lot..

It was terrible all because of the service. One thing lead to another. Firstly went to the bar to order food and it took 10 mins for the staff to see us and then another 10 mins to come to us. It wasn t busy at all. The second problem was advertising food that was yesterday s specials so I had to change my mind and asked to give me two minutes. Worst mistake of my life as no one served us for another 15 mins at least. The starters were out quick and the food was average. What made me most angry however, was the main course coming to the table before I had finished my starter, I wasn t even asked if I was finished my starter, the mains plates were just shoved onto the corner of the table. The staff are clueless of their product. Asked for a drink that I knew they had and bartender didn t have a clue he had it. The bartender walked away as I was half way through my drinks order which is totally unacceptable and rude beyond levels when working in a service environment. The reception staff were lovely and the room was clean. That s all the positive I can say about the place.

Great for children. Great leisure centre. Food in bar can improve.

Very popular poorly laid out and organised.
"TRACY'S" Surely they could have come up with a better name! Treacy evokes very odd characters to me... Unmarried mothers etc.
Weird.

Stayed last week for one night in the hotel. Room very small, mattresses worn out, mold in the bathroom. Dinner was very little. Furthermore, the glass was served at the top edge touched. Dishes were still dirty .... coffee leftovers and lipstick.

Friendly staff however had two stags booked into family area of hotel. Two stags = no sleep for my family of three small kids!!! ruined break away.

Spent New year's eve here 2 amazing nights Staff friendly and helpful Brilliant bar food Brilliant Music and facilities pool sauna and jacuziw just excellent will surely stay here again great value for money no rip off

Had an early morning meeting today in Ennis and chose here for convenience for all parties. No WIFI. Freezing cold. Could not get a coffee at 8am. Reception in need of a deep clean. We left straight after meeting.

The best Hotel experience I've had in a long time, mainly due to its cleanliness , reasonable prices, and excellent staff.
See, you know you can trust me cause I'm leaving this review cause I objectively could find no wrong AND am not related to/working for their local competitors

Nice hotel but very cold rooms wouldn't be rushing back unfortunately

room was smells old and had a spider crawling in it. no heating and at first we were told that it was broken and in the morning we complaint in the reception because it was really cold during the night and we're only told by the staff that they dont provide heating on september? instead we were only provided with a very small portable heater not enough to comfort my family of two kids. horrible stay. but infairnness the foods are great.

It's clean.. Free WiFi.. Spacious..
Back stairs is in very bad shape.. Might be cause of the flooding

Nice hotel, friendly staff and a 10 minute walk from the town centre. Different restaurants and event rooms available plus bar and outside seating area. Plenty of parking and its next to the main road so its easy to find

CHECKED OUT AT 3 AM: PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR NIGHT S SLEEP!!! Our room was situated near the main road of the hotel. We didn't get any sleep as the noise of people drinking, shouting and smoking outside the main door. The racket then started in the corridor and rooms adjoining us. Drunken young kids ran riot up and down the corridors shouting and screeching. At 3 am we couldn't take any more and checked out arriving home at 5 am. We expected a call from the Manager and are still waiting! Never again would we be caught in TREACY S WEST COUNTY HOTEL, ENNIS, CO. CLARE.

Unhygienic and outdated is the only way to describe this place

Food will not disappoint, both bar and restaurant. Had a nice stay here even if I was surrounded by crazy Nathan Carter fans

It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo amazing delicious food and drinks nice comfortable beds it was fab loved the pool and the dart hall

Great family hotel and a great base to explore the burren and all clare has to offer..great friendly professional staff we could not fault this place..our 5th family visit and we will be back

If you want to spend 1 or more nights here, don't forget your swimsuit. They have a nice swimming pool with sauna, Turkish bath and a hot tub.

As a local man from ennis it really saddens me to say this
But I feel the standard of this once fine establishment has really faded away and the food just bad no flare and no passion in it Anymore
I have eaten here on a few occasions and the quality of the food product is very poor and out dated mixed veg and the only fresh produce was the carrot and turnip mixed with frozen cauliflower and broccoli
The staff I feel are under trained and I saw no senior management with them during our dinner
There was at least 40 of us there today for a dinner, the staff were all over the place taking orders, when the food came from the kitchen I noticed the serving staff carrying one plate at a time and not knowing where the food was for or who they were giving it to
Then before the orders were taken for the food a young member of staff was taking a drinks order from each table nothing unusual about that on till we got our desert and the young staff member that took my drink order came down to me and asked me would I like to settle my bill for my drinks which I thought was very rude as we were still eating, it wasn't if I was going to run out the door without paying for it. After our meal we ventured to the bar for a few drinks then it went down hill again
I went to the bar ordered two pints and a latte the pints I got there and then but the latte was another story as the young man that served me totally forgot about me, totally not good enough, he then came back asking me was I ok and I said no that you walked away from me and forgot my coffee. If it was busy I wouldn't have minded but it was very quite.
Over all experience VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Very nice place, well run. The lunch was very good and the staff very helpful. I would go back again.

Hi we stayed with yourselves with our 4 kids Saturday night kids had a ball in the pool it was also very relaxing for ourselves the food was lovely in the restaurant both kids and ourselves enjoyed it fantastic value for money.

Having stayed here for a few days with a group of 24 men from a men's club from Dublin earlier this week , the food was great , rooms were great , but most of all staff were super. They even went beyond the call of duty for one of our men who was not well .Would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was lovely but the breakfast was terrible and staff nowhere to be seen when we were looking for breakfast .

The hotel reception, restaurant, bar and rooms all have a disgusting odour which I have never experienced in a hotel before, the whole place smells like stale larger. The rooms are extremely basic, dirty and outdated. Having stayed in a junior suite I would not like to see the other rooms as the junior suite was very poor. House keeping also knocked and entered my room at 9a.m even though we had the do not disturb sign out and repeated said do not enter, my wife was getting dressed while this happened unacceptable. I tried to inform reception via in room phone but the phone did not work. I decided to cut my loss and am currently checking out a day early to find an actual hotel. My dogs boarding kennels are of a higher standard than this hotel.

Food bland tasteless in essence days old reheated muck. Toilets filthy and inadequate as some have been closed for months.

Old hotel currently being gradually refurbished. Pleasant hotel.

Fantastic customer service throughout and fantastic value for money

Not great. The West Cafe was chilly. I ordered a wrap which was supposed to be toasted but wasn't & having waited for 15 mins for it (my coffee was nearly cold by then ) I didn't have time to send it back. On the good side, the lady serving was very pleasant.

Its the worst place I ever went for breakfast .I would have been embarrassed to put it on the table at home . and its all poor quality ingredients they use for the breakfasts . I think it would have been better to have stopped off at a petrol station won't be treating someone to breakfast there ever.

Food is ok,but has a lovely bar area. Great place for live bands

Dirty bed Clothes not changed,matress was old and very uncomfy. Place needs a deep deep cleaning.

Nice hotel, about 1 km from the city center. The rooms are not huge, but clean enough. Very good dinners, for breakfast more assorted buffet on salty than on dessert. The pub inside the hotel is very beautiful and characteristic, with live music.

We had a pleasant 5 night stay at the west county, it was reasonably priced and the staff were pleasant. The hotel is very clean and well run and the leisure centre while being slightly dated is also clean and staffed by courteous people. The music in the bar is good however we felt the bar staff were too young. That while most were capable they should have an expierienced overseer. I had to ask for my pint of Guinness to settle for more than 10 seconds before being topped off and when I did the girl in question became very snappy which I put down to inexperience. We will return again to the west county.

Big hotel and the room was okay. The view of the rear courtyard was not appealing and the hallway was sometimes noisy. Fast internet connection and some events. Roast beef and fish & chips in the bar-restaurant were good.

Was here for a course. Nice hotel. Updated since I was here last. Room for the course was dark and outdated Friendly staff. Busy spot.
