LUXICO Review

Very disappointing, would not use again. We selected a property in Sydney that looked great for a family stay, comms with Luxico were fast and good to start with. We paid 50% deposit ($3,500) by interbank transfer, the only other option being credit card which Luxico add a cost to. We are from UK so bank transfers always take a couple of days. We confirmed everything with Luxico, but then after the bank transfer had gone through they contacted us to say that they had been approached about a longer booking so they were taking that. So our booking was cancelled. Then after several reminders they refunded our deposit but it was about $200 less than we had sent! Their excuse was currency fluctuations - in theory they are right about that - but we had sent a large amount of money to book a property and confirmed it all by email and booking forms, but they chose to make more money by taking another person's later booking. Their only concession was to offer a discount on their next booking but we weren't exactly convinced to use them again given our experience.... Obviously it's Luxico's call to make money where they can, but the customer is the one who who loses out! They were fine, friendly and efficient until the booking process but then clearly not interested in taking any responsibilty or providing decent customer service once we'd asked for a refund. We will not be using them again and certainly wouldn't reccomend anyone else to use them.

Unfortunately not a great experience with them leasing our property via Luxico.
Their over all attitude is to look after the guests ONLY. Any damage to your property can be fixed later. They cannot check if the guests are being dishonest about the booking conditions ( like no pets or toddlers and yet they have guests with pets inside and kids under 12) . Luxico will not take any responsibility toward this sort of thing. Sad that they don't care about the property owners requirements as much as they care about maximising bookings and not holding the guests responsible for breaching conditions of booking. So book your property at you own risk via LUXICO

We had the most amazing experience at Serene in Byron Bay thanks to Luxico. It was our bridal house for our wedding, the house is on a large beautiful property with views of both the lighthouse and hinterland. Spacious, comfortable and absolutely luxurious. Thanks to the Luxico team for making it a 5 star experience.

Alex and her team have so many beautifully appointed and presented properties! Their service quality is first class; from thoroughly responding to enquiries, through to the way they style & present a property. The team responds promptly & we were especially thankful for their flexibility to allow our precious fur babies stay with us on the property. Can t wait to book our next stay at a luxury Luxico property!

Our family just spent 10 days at the Paddington location. In one word - fantastic. Sophie and the Luxico team went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable and the accommodations were clean, safe and luxurious. Great location to tour Sydney and close to cafes, groceries for supplies and public transportation. Sad to leave, but will use Luxico on our next travel for sure.

Absolute professionals from start to finish. The team at Luxico was brilliant. The house was as described and amazing, but the real bonus was all the little one-per-centers that you don't get on other services. This is the second time we've used them and will definitely be doing so again.

This company is a scam. 10 Days after confirming a booking on Airbnb, they tried to coerce me into doubling the rate with the threat of losing my 50% deposit if I cancelled the reservation. Fortunately Airbnb was helpful and reversed the charges after Luxico failed to respond to multiple inquiries, but the process took an entire week and made our vacation planning difficult. Avoid them at all costs!

Fantastic house close to everything - great cafe at Top Paddock and food at Baby - beautiful walks along the river into the city. Air-conditioning on the hot days and heated pool were also appreciated. Main bedroom downstairs and kids upstairs + dog park were all perfect for us.

Worst experience in the industry to date. Just really poor customer relations. Profusely unprofessional and not what you expect. Be very cautious, these guys were not what they appeared to be in our experience. Read the fine print if you re considering leasing your home with these people. They take no liability for damage to your home. We are still repairing parts of our entertaining area after we leased it through Luxico. Horror show.

Narringa Ridgeview,' is heaven on earth! We loved the beautiful and thoughtfully curated interior design, as well as the expansive and private exteriors. The lighting design imbues the home with a gorgeous ethereal glow in the evenings. The kitchen was brilliantly provisioned. There was even fresh, basil, parsley, mint, etc., growing in the sunny garden adjacent to the kitchen. We utilsed the services of one of Luxico's recommended providers, 'EatDrink Catering.' It was great that they were familiar with all the kitchen amenities at 'Narringa Ridgeview,' and knew how to use the induction cooktop and oven. We found the double-island kitchen configuration inducive to buffet-style entertaining. Once ensconced, one wont want to leave 'Narringa Ridgeview.' We loved the multiple entertainment zones; around the gorgeous timber kitchen bench-top, lounging by the gas fireplace in the living room, the snooker & television room, the balcony overlooking the swimming pool, the cosy lounges around the spa or tennis court. Our Luxico, concierges: Sarah & Lexie were absolutely marvellous, their friendly professionalism, exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the flexibility of the bedding configurations; being any combination of twin king-singles or super king-sized beds. The ensuited 4 bedrooms, suited our family gathering brilliantly, but would be equally fabulous for groups of friends. We left 'Narringa Ridgeview,' relaxed, spiritually nourished and eagerly planning our return.

Amazing properties and attention to detail. The Luxico crew always take care of us.

We stayed at The Smith in Collingwood booked through Luxico - there were 4 adults and 3 children and the apartment was well suited to our needs. Location was fantastic - close to city, great pubs, cafes, restaurants and shopping. The apartment itself was excellent; spotlessly clean and well laid out. The Luxico team were a breeze to deal with - from email, phone and in person each staff member was professional, helpful and warm. The bag of goodies we were given on arrival was appreciated too.

It was mentioned in the guest book but the couch really is tricky - every adult bashed into it at least once! Not sure if the furniture could be rearranged to avoid stubbed toes. Some way to play music would also be good - we couldn't work out how to do it through the TV.

This is absolutely no reflection of Luxico or the apartment owners however for those looking for a quiet location, perhaps this spot isn't ideal over the weekend - there was really loud music coming from the pub downstairs. This is pretty much to be expected as you are right in the centre of Collingwood - but just for those who aren't aware.

Just a short note to thank LUXICO for their professionalism in dealing with me. Its a difficult time for all and they have been great to deal with. well done Luxico - you've got a repeat customer now.

Could not speak highly enough about my experience with Luxico. From the point of enquiry through to the end of my stay the staff were a pleasure to deal with, they were professional, friendly & extremely attentive.
It really did feel like a home hotel, from the beautiful welcome gift on arrival to the luxurious amenities, no detail was missed. I have stayed in 5 & 6 stay resorts all around the world & I would have to say the service & quality provided was at the top of my list.
The property I stayed at was 2 deakin St in St Kilda, perfect walking distance to plenty of restaurants & bars however the St itself feels very private & serene. Highlights of my stay was the cosy fireplace, beautiful bath & the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! I had been recommended to stay with Luxico from friends & family before & it most defiantly won't be the last time I book a luxico experience!

Luxico were amazing to deal with. Alexandra and her team were professional at every touch point and In difficult and unprecedented circumstances went above and beyond at every opportunity.

I worked on this mini series as a travel coordinator and it was my job to deal with the accommodation requirements of the featured celebrities, VIP s and above the line crew on a daily basis. These people are used to an extremely high standard and the accommodation that LUXICO provides met these requirements and even went well beyond what I expected.

It was a joy dealing with the lovely team on a day-to-day basis during my work on this production, and I really feel that this is a company that has achieved something different through a unique approach to luxury accommodation. They allowed me the opportunity to personally look at each unique property and make sure everything was perfect for our VIP s, and I got to see first hand the reason why they call themselves LUXICO.

Terrific property, great facilities, really comfortable beds, love a bathroom per couple! Pool / outdoor dining area perfect, cooking, washing, fridge exactly as you would want. walking distance to deli/bakery/fresh coffee, and into town. off street parking very helpful. will recommend..love to be back!

I could not be less impressed than I am with Luxico I am paying a fortune for a property and have had numerous issues
A patched up area on the roof allowed rain to pour onto me while sleeping impossible to get onto anyone quickly they seem to only operate via a switch board and the people on that only act as a messenger service and it takes forever to get a response from Luxico had to seek alternate accom for the night
The property was advertised as sleeping 3 - mmm 3 people in one bedroom a double bed and a day bed that does not have a proper mattress just a cushion and extremely uncomfortable.
The property is poorly maintained windows in the bedroom do not work
The property came with parking unbeknown to us the permit expired we were left with a parking ticket and I have been on the phone for 3 days trying to get a satisfactory answer as to how we should deal with this unfortunately I can only ever reach the switchboard and for the most part they are unable to put me through to Luxico
Do not believe the spiel about the 24/7 concierge this is an absolute myth there is no such thing.
Frustrated and dissatisfied feeling utterly ripped off

Our stay with Luxico was incredible and the house was stunning. It was winter so the central heating was perfect. Location was amazing for we were quite close to everything with a short walk to the beach. Couldn't rave high enough about our stay, it was great.

Our stay at Luxico was indeed fun and memorable because the property is awesome. From the convenient amenities, strategic locations, to the most friendly and hospitable staffs, the whole experience was a blast and we will definitely come back!

We would just like to say a very sincere thank you to Emma, Alexandra and team for their prompt response to our request to transfer our booking. As soon as it became apparent that our family wouldn't be able to travel this Christmas Luxico organised the transfer of our booking without any hesitation. We had a wonderful time at our stay. The apartment was lovely. Very nice with all the amenities we needed. We were met by Sophie who gave us great recommendations for activities and dinner. Some of our best dinners were at her recommendations. Would highly recommend everything exceeded our expectations

I couldn't rate the service we received from Nicole and Dylan at Luxico highly enough. They went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and their customer service is second to none!

Zoe and the Luxico team were excellent. They secured a great booking for us to coincide with our holiday and managed our property like it was their own. We could not have asked for more.

Home was super clean and better than portrayed in the pictures. Thanks Luxico. My only "complaint" would be the time it took to get a call back when instructions where needed for house utensils.
