The decor and facilities but not swimming because the sea in this place is not pleasant full of grass and the sand in the water is clay

Best All-inclusive I've experienced for this price. Tranquil and friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend this resort for a week of relax & rewind

This place and a hotel calmed and auspicious with an atmosphere puny a hotel next big in its class and even I think the only one has a Mauritius with all the new technologies to please its guests a unique coffee and highly soffient coffee machines and each bar with its charm

Very Trendy and outstanding hotel,my family and me had 2 night stay there last week. The food was yummy.we had the barefoot buffet.the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Planning to come again soon

Me and my family had an amazing time specially my One years old toddler her first time in Mauritius she had the most fantastic time at Lux resort Grand Gaube from the coffee department staff Satish.. karuna and another lady they make amazing coffee.. @ Bodrum blue restaurant Shameem.. Purnima..Fred and rest were fantastic very helpful excellent customer service... Food is amazing.. In Dinning Room service they were very understanding when it comes to make baby food they made such good food for my baby that she ate it within minutes no fuss no mess thank you chef... Management at reception Mr David and The tall guy they were very professional exceptional service they do spoiled you there s nothing negative about this hotel I can think of if there s one I would say my stay was too short lol wish I had booked for longer... Close your eyes and book this Hotel and trust me you won t regret the hotel itself gives u so much to do that you won t feel leaving the hotel at any time.. Outstanding. Staff service fantastic. Last year we booked through Thompson and stayed in a Deluxe double room which was fantastic. This year we booked an superior ocean view room which wasn't quite as nice. As we are on our Honeymoon we requested that we be moved to our room from last year, but as there was no availability they upgraded us to a junior suite. Many extras thrown in for being on a honeymoon such as free massages etc. Food here is outstanding. For the money paid this hotel is fantastic value, can't recommend it highly enough.

Food at the restaurants were lovely. Beach Rouge and the Turkish restaurant lunch and dinner exceptional. The desserts were divine. Would definitely recommend this resort to others.

Everything is great ! The Lux Me* Spa is amazing, they have a great variety of treatments and massages, and many more, I had taken a wrap and a seasonal massage and it was soo good, it was done by Jessica and it was really one of the best ever massages I ve ever had! If you do visit Mauritius and this hotel, then you should definitely ask for Jessica in the spa to do your treatments. Thanks again Lux for making my trip to Mauritius so memorable ! Looking forward to coming again :)

LUX is one of those places you definitely feel like being a regular at, the rooms were great, the amenities were up there too with all the other 5 star hotels, but what made a difference for me was the genuine kindness and good manners of the staff, which made a beautiful stay perfect. Please do not miss eating at INTI, a rare and colourful South American dining experience. Our waiter Jean Christophe was outstanding! The Turkish food at Bodrum Blue was delicious and authentic!

A dream vacation week in this establishment that deserves its stars. The staff is always smiling and friendly, the suites are in line with expectations and advertisements and the activities are many and varied. Ideal to offer TRUE holidays!

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Hotel is completely refurbished. Staff are exceptionally friendly. The hotel markets itself very well with free calls at a phone home telephone booth, 60 seat Cinema, ICI ice cream, excellent SPA, wonderful beach service, a sea plane to experience the icean, etc. Food is abundant, although more variation would be an improvement. Management are always mingling with guests.

Absolutely amazing resort with extremely friendly staff who will go out of their way to help you. The resort is very beautiful, breakfast buffet(cost 1000 rupees per person) is very tasty with a good variety and lots of freshly prepared foods and juices. It's got a lot of activities that are included with the stay such as kayaking, poker, a cinema, tennis and a driving range as well as photography course, coconut or bamboo art, as well as a whole host of things for kids.

The resort is very well situated with breathtakingly beautiful scenery but it's real star that manages to outshine everything else is the staff who truly do their best to make your stay the best it can be.

THE ultimate place to be for honeymooners! Day views or night views are both mesmerising and soothing to the eyes and heart. We felt welcomed by the super courteous hotel staffs; Caroline, Sandeep, Elena, Dhiren and all those whom I didn't mention but did their job with utmost dedication. Thank you. The bocchi balls, the message in a bottle activities amongst others kept us entertained and longing for more! Great initiatives! N the food! Yummylicious!! Taste, service and place, perfect combo! Be it at @Beach Rouge, @Bodrum Blue, @Palm Court or @Inti, paradise for foodies! I specially enjoyed the crab burger by Francesca! On Friday night, we got to enjoy a special Halloween buffet which was nice too! Honeymoon was also time for self pampering @LuxBeautySpa by the very pretty and sweet Sharonne. I had a very great experience with my wife. the main resturent was amazing, and I can say they had the best buffet I ever tried .
Also, I would like to appreciate Yusra, she supported us in every aspect to make sure that we have a great holiday. In fact, I had the best trip in my life because of here support.

We had our honeymoon here and it was one of the best experiences of our lives. When we arrived after the 14 hour journey we were greeted with a welcome drink and a comfortable seat in the lobby.
Rooms- we had a standard room which was roomy, stylish and comfortable. the best night sleep I have ever had in a hotel. There was a stocked mini bar along with snacks. The bathroom featured a large bathtub and double shower with separated toilet which I always think is a nice touch.
The beach had soft sand leading up to the warm sea, you could walk out for miles without it getting deep. The included water-sports are perfect as we enjoyed sailing, paddle boarding and snorkelling.
Every member of staff was helpful and polite, always there to assist.
This resort had one of the best set of restaurants I have ever seen, every meal was Ala carte and there was plenty of choice, no getting bored on your 10 night holiday
The small pool near the burger place was our usual hangout as we found it was quiet over there and the bar service was great. You could relax in the swinging on the bed with a perfectly mixed mojito.

Absolutely amazing hotel, with great two beaches where sport activities are included (kayak, padleboard etc). It has 4 delicious restaurants, spa, cinema and so on. Room is just amazing, bed like heaven. Breakfast buffet cannot be better. There is a lot of activities through the day like yoga, golf basics, slackline, poker etc. Worth the money!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Lux * Grand Gaube in September 2019.
It was idyllic on all levels. The welcome is exemplary (and always with a smile) when checking in at reception, as in the restaurants.
We would like to especially thank Anabelle who kindly looked after us and the mixologist at G&T 100.

Just Wow!! We stayed here for 5 nights in November 2018 and the staff were wonderful from arrival to departure. The place itself is beautiful and all the staff always happy to help. Would return in a heartbeat, wish we didn t have to leave
