I cannot fault my experience with LWR one bit after being faced with redundancy of course i was out of sorts and my confidence had been slightly knocked the next morning i called LWR to enquire about a couple positions i had seen. She got me straight in for a chat after listening to all my wants and desires in a dream job Once i got to my meeting Sophie had already picked some positions she thought suited me (they were exactly what i was looking for). When I first submitted my CV to LWR, Chloe contacted me in less than an hour, and even scheduled for a meeting on the same day. I have recently been moved on from Lucy Walker but my time with them was very professional and they made me feel very comfortable. Claire was very helpful and i highly recommend this agency!

This is the only recruitment agency I'd recommend in Leeds. Having been made redundant from a job I spoke to dozens of recruiters and agencies around the UK. I met with some to register but all but one of them was a waste of my time. I dealt with Laura Hodge here and after initially meeting and chatting about my ideal next steps, over the space of 3-4 months she offered me various roles and lined up a number of interviews. Each time she was very thorough in explaining the role, the company and sent me job descriptions - something very few recruiters bothered to do. Even when I turned down roles she offered she kept coming back with more. Every other recruiter I spoke to had one role then weren't interested, but not Laura. She worked for me and helped my along my path to finding the perfect next position. Although Laura didn't ultimately find me my current role, her professionalism and personable approach really stood out to me. As a former agency recruiter myself It was great to see that there are still great ones out there amongst the huge sea of bog standard robotic recruiters. Why do you need to see me, if your going to send my CV to a client for a role and waste my time to travel to see your recruitment consultant first before you consider me for the role?

I've temped with quite a few agencies in Leeds and other cities and Lucy Walker is the only company I've genuinely enjoyed interacting with. The team are all so friendly and supportive and efficient -- they never seem to forget a face, and I've never had any problems with the admin side of things and being paid. I've enjoyed working at all the companies they've placed me with. You really get the sense that they care about what they do and about the people they take on.

After leaving my previous career, I interviewed at Lucy Walker and they set me up with a job at Asda, which has since turned in to a permanent position. They caught up with us regularly at work to see how we were getting on. They looked after us well.

There were a couple of minor issues regarding a lack of communication, but these were more to do with the administrative side (wages, holiday etc) and they were quickly rectified.

Overall, a good agency and I'd recommend them.
