Disappointed with shrimp salad. Small, tasteless shrimp and not deveined.
I had the trout. Delicious. It comes with grilled veggies. Green squash, yellow squash, potato, mushrooms, tomato - all grilled to perfection. Corn on the cob too! The waiter was attentive, as was the cook and the manager. They all checked on me at one time or another. The place is built in a wedge shape with windows all around. It's a nice, open room.
They advertised all week "Open for Thanksgiving" (No mention of restricted hours) I arrived at 4:00 Pm thanksgiving behind a group of 4 who were immediately sat. Hostess told me at 4:03 they were closed. What about people before me I asked. They were here at 4, you are here afterwards she said. Call the manager. He said same thing but could not answer why previous table was sat at 4 if they closed at 4. Called a few days later woman who identified herself as "one of the managers" could not answer question and hung up on me. I took a call later from GM Scott Fields who said his staff had acted appropriately by not seating me as I was 3 minutes late. When I told him I hoped the 3 minutes were worth it cause he lost a 15 year customer, he said he was "good" with that. Scott, you are in business to serve patrons, not turn them away and if you are unwilling to sit a person who walked through the door with others who were sat despite your deadline and you are going to cling to the 3 minute thing, then best to you. I host several big dinners there a year, business related and now I'm "good" with never setting foot here again.
Food was delicious and excellent customer service!!
Always a pleasure... Good food, great service and pleasant atmosphere... A Cowtown classic.
My significant other and I go here when we find the chance. Lighting is good, food is great very flavorful and they give you plenty to eat for the right price. Customer service is excellent. Definitely recommend it here. Setting is nice comfy clean.
Our favorite local business with quality food and great prices! Good service and friendly faces!
I've been to Lucile's many times and have never been let down. One of my favorite places to eat.
Went there for lobster bisque with my wife, went back the next day for more!!!!!! John was awesome and curtious, between the best lobster bisque we have ever had and John we will be making this a regular stop of ours, even though we live an hour away!
Great local favorite! The hostess Erin is the best.
Food was great will be back the lobster bites and prime rib was great i will be trying the chicken fried steak next
Over twenty years of fried green tomatoes and memories. Thank you Lucile's
Pricey, food takes too long to come out , super loud in there but the food was good
Fantastic food, great service! The seafood is awesome and the chicken fried steak is some of the BEST in Fort Worth. Beautiful place in a historic part of town. Will be back!
A charming place to dine. Excellent atmosphere, well stocked bar for mixed drinks, great selection for wine and nice beer selection too. Great appetizers, my Husband had Crabcakes which he really enjoyed his meal came with a dinner salad (he had his choice of Cecar or Regular salad) as well as dressing choice. There was also 2 vegetables on the plate my husband had he didn't care for 1 of the vegetables & they substituted his choice of potatoes with no upcharge & with no hassle. They had several mid-price range dinner plates ($18.95-$30.00) & several low-range dinner ($9.99-$14.50) Golden Brown Grilled Cheese Sandwich to Steak Baked Potatoe Dinner. The dessert menu is just as outstanding.
Specialising in seafood and it's great. Don't expect great chicken fried steak, stick with the seafood. Price is high and the service and quality make up for it.
So I just walked out of this place and...just wow. My husband and I are actually nauseous from the disgusting food we just barely ingested. We had the lobster bisque which was void of lobster and tasted of pure flour. Then the Cuban panini was burnt to a crispy and the chicken was chewy. We took 2 bites then asked for the check. A waitress that cared would have asked how s your food? She had zero F s to give. Disgusting and disappointed.
I think I will only go for drinks and a mosh, not a meal.
Good experience. Had dinner and drinks. Enjoyed both.
Ft.Worth institution : great food and service. Always have a great time.
This is my wife and I's favorite place! Will always be our go to when we can't think of anywhere else.
Local, non-chain which is always a plus. Great service and great food!
A great find! I am visiting Texas and my freind and I need a place for a good lunch. Great and plentiful custom margaritas. Excellent burgers and seafood.
Loved the lobster bisque and herb-crusted chicken. Will try the chicken fried steak next time as everyone around me was ordering it.
I don't think I've ever had a bad meal at Lucille's. Try the banana nut waffle for breakfast some Sunday morning.
For the quality of the food, it is overpriced.
It's a nice place but it can get loud at dinner. The salads are very small but the house dressing is delicious.
The lobster bisque was alright, not too flavorful, too much cream, and no chunks of lobster in it.
Food and drinks excellent. Prices a bit steep. Tends to be noisy.
Great chicken fried steak! Was really loud with conversation, hard to talk.
One of our favorite stops when we're in Ft. Worth. Long time establishment with friendly staff and a neat bar area. Food is good, not exceptional. Recommend for an afternoon snack.
Food is ok... And not worth the money this is a place for old people to expensive for ok/bad food drinks
crab's benedict o
is the best thing on the menu
Food was delicious. Our server was great. Chips a little too salty. Will definitely be back.
Wife and I had brunch today 4-28-2019. Cappuccino that I had was generous and tasted great!!! Wife had waffles I had the omelette. Wife started to feel ill (nobody's fault) and left to sit in the car. I asked Luis, (waiter) for the tab. He took my credit card and an inordinate amount of time passed. Finally another person showed up (Manager?) who informed that there was a problem with the card. Not for nothing but, not only had I used this very same card numerous times at Lucille's (great chicken salad sandwiches) but also, I dare say that there was enough money on that particular to pick up the tab for the entire restaurant. I informed the manager person that there was nothing wrong with the so he said perhaps it was their system. Long story short I paid in cash (which I had plenty of and left a tip feeling put upon and embarrassed. Ruined my morning. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN and I will spread the word to the thousands of folks I interface with on a monthly basis.
Staff is always friendly & the food is always good.
Over tipped waiter service was so goid even the fried potatoes were the best ever
Awful customer service. Website mentions curbside but got there it was "contactless" which is okay if I didnt have my baby in the car.
The first lady brought my food to my car but when realized that my order needed to be corrected... the next guy just sat my order on the table and proceeded to walk back inside.
I asked him if he could please bring it to me due to my baby being in the car, he rudely told me no after pleading with him again, he informed me that it was policy and WALKED OFF. I understand policy but the lack of sympathy for a mother with an infant and having to get out of a running car there's is dangerous! There's no telling what can in a matter of seconds.
Horrible experience and disappointing service. What about the elderly!?
Told Owner I would never visit here again after arriving 10 minutes before closing on Thanksgiving. They would not sit me, but instead sat a group who rushed in after me, only saying 'they had reservations'. Owner was good with this, so I am good with saying 'good luck' I will never spend a dime here again. #deriklattig
This is our go to place for comfort food. Best chicken fried steak around!!
I've eaten here for more than 3 decades. I have never been disappointed. Ever.
Great place when you are sick of trying to be fancy and want classic comfort food options, elevated through the use of there brick oven.
Service was great ! . Food was really good and fresh ! It was my first time !
Good food, a bit pricy. But you get what you pay for, and their food is yummy!
Ordered the Chicken Alfredo. It was decent. This place is pretty expensive though. I'd recommend coming back here when there's a special going on.
Luciles is an excellent place. You can't go wrong with the menu. My favorite is the chicken and even the pizza is top notch. Service is more than good and the ambience is very special.
There were three of us. Most of the food by was mediocre, and the waitress was rude. Fantastic Ruben, though.
Great restuarant that has been around for a long time in Fort Worth. Food and wine is great. Had the french onion soup
Great service. Crabfest dinners and bendedicts were delicious.
Great food and atmosphere. Very comfortable and the wait staff is great. Highly recommend.
A FW institution. My first time here in twenty years. The lobster bisque was fantastic as always. Really enjoyed the whole meal during lobsterfest.
Good food great atmosphere good serves clean place!
I never got to my entree. Three other families walked in, sat down and had drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert then left, and we were still waiting for our entrees. We waited for more than 50 minutes and it was not busy at all for a Sunday night. When speaking with with the manager she explained that, appetizers come out first, then salads, then entrees, and that's why it was taking so long. I explained to her that it is done that way all over the world and I just watched three families sit down eat then leave. One of those families actually held the door for my disabled mother when we entered. The manager with a continuous smerk on her face only apologized for not knowing we wanted all our order at one time. That statement was as ridiculous as the poor service. For the price your money should be spent elsewhere. The unapologetic manager ( with her continuous ha ha smerk) made it clear to my family including my disabled mother that we were not welcomed at Lucile's establishment. 4/28/19 check # 95174, tab 23A. I will never return.
I had the opportunity to have dinner with a friend from out of town last night and he obviously comes to Lucile's once a month. As it turned out Lucile's was located just about a mile from where I grew up so it was a bit nostalgic for me. He suggested the chicken fried steak with a side and a margarita. The steak was almost as big as the plate and tasted great as did the sides. The margarita was also excellent and appeared to be never ending as I kept filling my stemmed glass from the chrome looking shaker it was made in. I had to take some of the dinner home to my wife as there was more than I could eat. I will be going back soon for sure!
OMG for real. Will I return, maybe. Food was ok not great. If you have Choices choose somewhere else.
My first time to experience Lucille's. My chicken fried steak was so tender and roasted veggies and baked potato met the mark. We took our order to go but I look forward to a time in the future when I can also enjoy the ambiance.
Good food for very reasonable prices.. service and atmosphere not so much
Historic place with good comfort food. Needs some updating, the bathroom was scary.
Outstanding service, wonderful food, as always. My regular stop after Christmas in Cowtown and special occasions.
Ratings under 4 stars need to get a grip!
The salmon on a plank was awesome. That great onion rings.and the chicken fried steak with you could almost cut it with a fork
Great restaurant with a lot of items on the menu. I definitely reccomend.
This place serves my favorite chicken fried steak in Fort Worth. Perfectly crunchy breading and tender steak topped with the classic cream gravy. You don't need the knife that they bring out with it - it cuts easily with your fork.
