The food is amazing and worth the price. The fried green tomatoes were perfectly seasoned, breaded, and fried. The lobster roll was divine. The Woodfire chicken was everything one would hope. The vegetables with it were particularly amazing. The Reuben was also excellent. Our french fries were cold, but that was quickly fixed. I recommend this place.

Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. We came here for an impromptu Valentine's dinner at 6:30 and had a table by 7. The food was delicious. I never thought I would have an opportunity to have Yorkshire Pudding Popovers, but I did! Dope!

Got food poisoning here with a side order of terrible service! I have no clue how this place gets such high marks from others. I have been here 2 times and both times I have gotten sick after eating in this restaurant. The first time I wasn t positive that it was the food at this place until it happened after the second trip. I hadn t eaten anything earlier in the day except for breakfast at home. I skipped lunch and was starving. We got to the restaurant around 9:45 on Saturday night, they re open until 11pm on Saturday. I figured they would still be serving good/fresh food as it was only 9:45. The service was terrible from the seconds we walked inside. The hostess looked annoyed and couldn t be less happier to see our party of 2 show up at 9:45 for a late dinner. She told us to hang on while she found a table. Keep in mind there were plenty of tables as there were only 5 tables with people at them. Once we finally got our table, which was still dirty after the bus boy hastily wiped it down with a dirty rag knocking all of the previous diner s leftovers onto the floor below the table, it took an additional 5 minutes before our waiter even greeted us. Once we placed our order the waiter brought out 2 dinner rolls that were hard as a rock. My wife tried to cut into the roll with the bread knife and couldn t penetrate the outer crust after several attempts she gave up and pushed it aside. After looking at the other tables you could clearly see the untouched rocks also know as dinner rolls sitting on them as well. Once the salad arrived it was bland and the waiter didn t even offer grated cheese or pepper. Finally my main entree arrived. I ordered a filet steak cooked medium. Unfortunately the chef doesn t know what medium means. The filet was medium well - well done. The baked potato was pathetically tiny for what they were charging for the meal. After roughing through the meal it pained me to pay the $85 tab. Little did I know that the worst was yet to come! I was sick the entire next day! I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone nor ever go back! You have been warned!

Lobstermania was happening at Lucilles. An afternoon lobster roll for me and a delicious (I tasted this too) chicken-fried steak served in a quiet bistro. Great news, this place is NOT the kind of place with glaring overhead lights!!! Yay!

Breakfast/brunch is so much better than lunch and dinner. I wish for Gordan Ramsey to remodel this location, it seems outdated. Everyone is nice and my chicken with vegetables was good but again it needs a little more in the food as far as seasoning goes. Breakfast/brunch was packed of people and had many people waiting. Loved it!

The chicken fried steak lives up to the hype! Crisp batter that's hot and fresh, with delicious, creamy mashed potatoes and white gravy. It's crab fest currently, so I tried the blue crab fingers. They were good, but not worth the price- if you're craving good crab, I'd try one of the entrees instead. Service was fast, friendly, personable, and very responsive. My bread dish and water glass were never empty. The atmosphere is easy-going, laid back and you'll feel like a local, no matter where you call home.

My sister and I went to Lucile s for brunch on Saturday 2/29. We reserved a table online and were able to be seated immediately. The restaurant is located off Camp Bowie in an older well established neighborhood. The parking is pretty good although at peak times I can see where parking would be an issue. The ambiance inside was old New Orleans with close family-style seating. I ordered coffee and the Classic Style Eggs Benedict. My sister ordered a strawberry lemonade and the lobster roll with homemade chips. It appeared to get busier after we d placed our order. There was a large party that kept the attention of our waiter. Hence the 3 star rating vs. 5 stars. Food- Eggs were poached perfectly, with shaved ham and sauce. One side of my muffin appeared tough. However, the other side was edible and yummy. My entree came with hash browns that had a taste of being re-fried, chewy and greasy. I did not enjoy the hash browns. But as mentioned, our waiter was tied up with the larger party. My sister enjoyed the lobster roll and chips. She said that the strawberry lemonade was the best she d had. My coffee was a normal brew. We ended up having another waiter that assisted us. We figure that 11am for brunch on a Saturday morning may be too busy and will opt for an earlier time upon our next visit.

I have only eaten here once. The menu has steak, seafood, pizza and pasta dishes. I had the lobster roll which was a new item and I thought it was really good. It came with homemade chips. The portions are just right. There were 10 of us in our group and they were very accomodating for our group size and the service was spot on. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Not much of a beer selection for my husband but I enjoyed the margarita.

Lucile's is a great place to go for lunch! They were fast with service for a sit down restaurant. The food was good, especially the brick oven pizza. I liked the lobster roll, bug felt it was missing something. The homemade potato chips are good, but a bit too hard/overcooked for my liking. I like them a little crispy but not hard. I would recommend that you try it

My family has attended Lucile s Thanksgiving for the past several years and have enjoyed our time spent at Lucile s on Thanksgiving. Well, yesterday was the first time we had a bad experience on Thanksgiving. We booked a later reservation so the other side of the family could enjoy Thanksgiving with their family. This was a huge mistake and now we know to always book earlier in the day. It took 15 minutes just to receive water and even longer to receive our cocktails. The food was delicious as always and very enjoyable. Before we received our pies they began flickering the lights on and off which is extremely rude. We felt rushed at that point and ended up requesting our pies to go. We normally like to enjoy our pies over coffee, but due to the lights flickering on and off and the wait staff acting like we were a nuisance to shove us out we decided to get ready to go. Our reservation was at 3:45 and we were leaving by 4:45 due to the way they were trying to rush us. We tried to order a dinner to go for my disabled brother who can t get out of the house and they had already thrown all the food away. I understand they are trying to clear the kitchen so they can get home to their families, but if you aren t going to provide the same standard and consideration to your paying customers that made a reservation then they shouldn t take reservations that late especially if they want the business closed by a certain time. This was the most rushed, unenjoyable experience that we have had at Lucile s during Thanksgiving Dinner. We didn t get to enjoy each other s company. By the time the cocktails made it to the table they were already bringing the food. We ended up having to slam our cocktails after multiple light flickers and taking everything to go since they made it very apparent they wanted everyone out. Even the table next to us were making comments about the flickering of the lights. Total bummer Lucile s. We will not be attending another Thanksgiving here going forward, it completely ruined our experience as well as our time spent as a family considering some of us drove over an hour to attend a 45 min dinner.

Loved it. Came on 5pm Saturday, was sitted quickly. The waitress suggested the Lucky Lady, Martini, she was so right, not to sweet, just right. My husband loved his lobster roll, and the home made chips. My lobster salad was delish, with sweet potatoes and apple, a great blend. We will return.

Absolutely fantastic food. Our waiter Nathaniel was the best waiter we have had in a very long time. He had our refills to us before our drinks were even near empty. Every time he was even near our table he asked if we needed anything and he was very personable and professional.

Food was good, our server was great. The manager however was so aloof and condescending it really detracted from the dining experience. Astounding the place seemed to deliver descent service under that guy's management- he may have been new or filling-in.

Salt Avalanche

Love the ambience! Beautiful establishment.

I got the Short Ribs. . .that was akin to shoe leather or a tough, chewy, stringy chuck roast. . .smothered in a way overly salted gravy. The mashed potatoes were very good - but salty.

Might want to allow your customers to season their food to taste, id est: Take the salt away from the chef.

My Dad (89 yrs) used to come here as a kid. Glad you're still here.

Lucile's is a hidden gem of Fort Worth. I had my birthday dinner here and the experience was second to none. The restaurant is a one of a kind and you always get a feeling that they are concerned with your satisfaction. I suggest Lucile's to everyone.

Recently our family celebrated a birthday with a large group of family at Lucile s. My food tasted like it had been sitting for a while before being served (cold on the outer part). I can deal with that considering the size of our party. What I felt disgusted with is the attitude of the main server. She was rude and had no time to clean up wine she spilled. At first I thought maybe it was me when I asked her a question about moving to Fort Worth from Arizona but after talking it over with other family members they felt the same, rude. I d eat there again but only if I m not buying.
