Good stuff: Food is very good, worth 4 stars. But.... I don't like waiting for 30 minutes when there are 30 empty tables.... maybe hire more waiters. Also for the love of God please tell Nick that nobody enjoys his ponytail.

We've been here 2 times over the last 7 years and frankly couldn't remember anything memorable about this place so we went again recently to see if we liked it. My partner had the Angel Pasta and it normally comes with salmon but he substituted it for grilled shrimp. He enjoyed it. I'm usually a CFS gal and will always order that. The steak itself was "alright" but the gravy had a weird taste to it. It almost reminded me of a chicken stock flavor instead of milk and flour which is a HUGE no-no! They didn't have mashed potatoes but the French fries were pretty darn good. The cost of that CFS was ridiculous at $18.95. I've had MUCH better tasting CFS that cost a lot less. I highly doubt that we'll be visiting this place again.

Expensive for what you get. Hamburgers were charred and almost inedible. We were told that well done was the only way they could cook them because of some cheese thing in the middle. Also terrible acoustics. Lobster bisque is very good. Avoid crowded times and you will have a pleasant experience.

Gumbo was good and the service was very pleasant. I will go back for Lobsterama but I just was not happy with the fact that my butter tasted like the refrigerator and I ask for a new one. The new butter I received tasted exactly like the last one. We ordered key lime pie and it was frozen ... even the whip cream. Seems like a nice neighborhood place but not a big fan.

Lucille s can hit the mark or fall far from it- just depends on the visit. We ve had where the service is horrible and food is mediocre vs. phenomenal tastes and great waiters/waitresses. I d give them 3 and a half stars if I could because sometimes it really is very pleasant. Our last visit the service was meh but the food and drinks were really good- just wish it was more consistent. My husband describes it as not life changing... I enjoy their crab, shrimp, and lobster fests as the pricing is really good for what you get.

A little pricey, nice size portion, rave reviews on shrimp salad. Good reviews on Ruben and chicken plate. Great review on burger from our pastor. Too much breading on chicken fried steak and little steak. Only one side and meat. Great hot rolls with butter served before order. We had wonderful service for ten people.

First time visiting this place. I've lived in Fort Worth all my life and never knew about it. I've even driven by it not realizing what it was.

The food and selection was amazing. Lobster sandwich and lobster bites! Lobster lobster lobster oh my!

My husband surprised me, by taking me out to dinner. I'm not impressed, food was ok, but not worth what they charge. Service was lacking and atmosphere was ok. The one plus, no loud music. This place I'm sure for a quaint brunch, but not for dinner.

I had their signature dish. Chicken fried steak. Early disappointed was not able to have it with brown gravy. Even though online pics show it served with brown gravy.
Presentation is fantastic. But taste was bland. Needed salt? I'm not a salt person. Meaning I don't add it when its served. So.. If I do add, its a bad thing.
Considering the price I paid I expected much better. If I do go back it would be for the salads.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

The waitress seemed reluctant to serve my wife and I when we arrived.
She served us our drinks and left for the day and the new waiter didn't even come introduce himself until 15 minutes later.
Kind to think of it, he really didn't introduce himself at all, just asked if I want more "soda".
Afterwards, he really didn't check on us at all.
By the way, IT WASN'T BUSY IN THERE AT ALL. If I could, I would give this experience -5 stars.

Pricey place for bland food. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Food feels stuck in the past and could use some updating. Menu also needs a vegetarian friendly dish or two and not just angel hair pasta with tasteless olive oil.

Five stars for the Breakfast offered on Saturdays and Sundays. High quality ingredients and generous portions. Love the decor and ambiance, service was a bit lagging, but our server appeared to be doing double duty as a bartender, so I expect if we had been seated in a different section the service might have been a bit quicker. I will return for dinner, for sure.

Stopped by to check out the place. When we asked waitress to get us a blend glass of red wine and she gave us the most expensive one. We even told her it was our first time. Not a good first impression. $17 for a glass of wine and a Diet Coke.

A friend of our recommended this place and it was a great recommendation. The food is fantastic and so is the service. I don't think there is a bad thing on this menu. This place has quite a bit of history over the years in Fort Worth. We spent some time talking with different servers about the history.

Very crowded but still waited since the menu looked great. Disappointed in the quality of food. I ordered corn beef and poached eyes and a biscuit. Biscuit was flat and not ar all moist. Corn beef too overcooked. And no good jelly's or preserves, just denny's style jelly in little plastic cups. Friend ordered shrimp grits... must have been american cheese cause it was orange colored! Also a disappointment.
For the price, I expected much better.

We do enjoy this place , I think I ve reviewed it before but we stopped in after work on Friday an amidst covid it was nice to see a place where everyone was doing their best to be positive an on top of things. The place was clean , tables were spaced out and the food was as good as it always is .

I just moved to Ft. Worth from Dallas. I was looking for a hidden gem like this! Excellent service, excellent food! Will definitely be back! Joe the bartender was awesome. Thanks, Lucile's

The food was good but I felt as if I were invisible. The bartender, John, acknowledged me just enough to take my food order and norhing more. I would have ordered a 2nd drink had I been asked. Terribly disappointed. I will not be back.

Have not been here for years. I remember how great it was in the past and still is fantastic. Beef tip entree was scrumptious, but cheeries jubilee was heavenly. Will not wait so long for the next visit.

This is an excellent 'old' Fort Worth restaurant. The Chicken Fried Steak is to die for, the Steaks are great, and they always have fresh seafood. For years Lucille's has been the go to place for a great lunch or dinner. It's quiet, elegant, and just plain good food. Highly recommend.

The place is very quaint and the food was delicious. Service is friendly and prompt. This place should be 5 , but if you are in a wheelchair, it's not quite a 3 star rating. There is only one ramp into Lucile's and you are between cars right in the street. A $1000.00 worth of concrete work would fix this. We will see if they do the needed work, or not. Just be sure that if you are in a wheelchair on that busy street, keep your eyes open and have some help, or you could be a traffic fatality.

Always amazing! Lobster bisque and fried green tomatoes is always right on. Service friendly, food served timely... Only concern is I can't and don't want to eat 8 ounces of pasta with the featured course. All said - still a great place to dine! Cheers!

Food is good, but not great. Greeters and staff act like they would rather be some where else. A customer dropped a napkin on the floor when he left and 4 wait staff and greater, including our waiter, ignored it until we put a note on it asking to be picked up.
